3 The Academy

A week had passed since Rinshiki's arrival in Takigakure, and since then it had been nothing but stress for Hisen.

He had had to set up accommodations for the ten-year-old, where he would be under adult supervision.

A sigh escaped Hisen's mouth as he finally admitted defeat and stamped the adoption papers.

Now he had three children to take care of, firstly his son, Shibuki, then his adopted daughter, Fu, and now Rinshiki.

Placing his face in his hands, Hisen let out another sigh just before the door to his office burst open revealing Fu and Rinshiki.

Looking up he smiled wearily, "Yes?"

Stepping forward, RInshiki smiled back, "Hisen-san, Fu has told me quite a lot about the Ninja Academy and if possible I would like to join it."

Hisen nodded slowly, "Yes, I was already considering entering you into it."

He then took a document from the massive stack next to him and asked, "Anything else?"

Both children shook their heads and exited the room.

(2 Days Later)

Rinshiki entered the Ninja Academy training grounds, where a man was waiting for him.

Raising his hand he waved to Rinshiki, "Hey, you're late."

The boy hummed in acknowledgement and stopping before the shinobi, looked up at him.

The man sighed and removed a piece of paper from his back pocket.

"Here, push your chakra into this."

Rinshiki nodded, took the paper from the man's hand, and pushed his chakra into it.

A gasp escaped the man's mouth as he saw the paper split into four parts, the first one burned away, the second one wrinkled, the third one turned moist and the last one turned to dust.

The man rubbed his eyes and blinked, "What the hell?"

Shaking his head he placed his hand on his forehead, "You have no idea how lucky you are boy."

Sighing, Rinshiki dropped the paper he was holding, "Can we move onto the next part."

The shinobi nodded and guiding the boy over to a tree pointed at it, "Control the amount of chakra sent to your feet and climb up the tree,"

Rinshiki nodded and stepping forward placed one foot on the tree.

He had just lifted his other foot when he lost his balance and fell to the floor.

Sighing he stood up again and was about to try again when the shinobi stopped him, "We're just here to test out your abilities.

You can train later if you want to."

Rinshiki was then guided over to the target range, where he had to throw Kuni and shuriken at the targets.

But since he had never done it before, the boy failed miserably.

Sighing, the tester nodded, "So I won't be testing your taijutsu level since they'll be training it in the academy today, but it probably doesn't matter anyway with all those nature transformation's you have."

Rinshiki smiled at that, "So I can go to school now."

The shinobi nodded, "Yes you can, just head to classroom number 5."

Class was boring as always for Fu as the teacher droned on about tactics and manoeuvres, all she could think about was if RInshiki would pass the exam to enter the same class as her.

She sighed, laid her head on the table, and was about to take a nap when someone knocked at the door.

Fu shot up, her eyes fixed on the door.

The teacher smiled as she slid the door open, "Please come in."

The girl heard a few gasps from the girls around her as the white-haired Rinshiki walked in, an amused expression on his face.

"Rinshiki-Kun, please introduce yourself to the class." the teacher said, smiling down at him.

He nodded lazily and giving them a cocky smile, said "Hey, my name's Rinshiki Otsutsuki, I do hope we can get along."

Fu smiled, she was happy that her brother had kept to the script she had written down for him since she wasn't sure what he was planning to say.

A loud cheer came from the female side of the classroom while the male's let out a long groan.

Not waiting for the teacher's next words, Rinshiki walked straight up the stairs to the back and sat down next to Fu, who was smiling at him cheerfully.
