1 Prologue

Exiting his residence overlooking Takigakure, Hisen the village head looked up at the sky.

He frowned as he saw a ball of fire racing towards the village's outskirts.

Hisen was about to call for reinforcements when four jonin appeared in front of him.

"Hisen-sama, a ball of fire seems to be heading towards the training grounds." one of the jonin reported.

The village head nodded, "Let's go." and they all disappeared from their spot.

Appearing on top of one of the massive roots that led off the tree that overshadowed Takigakure, Hisen and the other jonin watched as the fireball crashed right into the lower part of the root they were standing on.

They had to steady themself, as the root shook heavily.

Glancing down, Hisen saw as smoke rose up from the impact point.

"Come on, let's go check it out."

Landing in front of the crater, Hisen tried fanning the smoke away to see what had impacted the ground.

He took a step back as his eyes landed on the wounded boy embedded in the centre of the pit.

Hisen felt the jonin next to him draw their kunai, but feeling it was unnecessary he stretched out his arm, "Don't, we should first see if he's even alive."

One of the jonin nodded and stepping forward he nudged the boys barefoot with his.

The jonin quickly jumped back as the white-haired boy fell out of the crater right into the ground.

Turning to their village head the jonin frowned, "We should take him to the hospital, he might die if we leave him like this any longer."

Hisen nodded, "You're right, we can ask him questions when he wakes up."

As always, the ever-curious Fu tried to visit the person Hisen was trying to keep her away from.

She scowled as the jonin placed her outside the hospital. She had tried to enter the barred room for several days now but every time she tried to, guards caught her and placed her outside.

She had been attending the Shinobi Academy for two years now, but she still couldn't sneak past a couple of adults.

Fu scoffed and sat down on the Hospital stairs, she was one of the best in her class with larger than average chakra reserves and a talent for ninjutsu but still, she wasn't very sneaky.

A determined expression set itself on her face and standing up she dusted off her clothes.

"I can do this!" she said firmly and turning around Fu launched herself up into the air.

She knew that it would take some time for the Jonin to reach the room since they were off their guard.

So Fu decided to take this chance and slip inside the room.

She quickly reached the top floor where the windows had been covered by blinds.

But as always this wouldn't stop her, removing a kunai from her leg, Fu placed it under the window frame and leveraged it up.

A satisfied smile appeared on her face as she easily slipped inside.

The room was dark, extremely dark, way darker than she would have imagined.

Fu nearly fell over the bed as she tried to manoeuvre around the room.

Taking in a shuddering breath she continued towards the door where she knew the light switch would be.

She sighed in relief as her fingers brushed against the cold metal, she then flicked her finger upwards and the lights in the room went on.

Turning around she gasped lying on the bed she had previously bumped into was a boy, he seemed about her age with short white hair and a cute face.

She was extremely surprised, why would they guard this boy so vigorously.

Fu decided to see for herself and walked over to him.

At closer inspection, she noticed that the boy had small cracks under his eyes.

But what really facinated where the tiny horns that were hidden under his short white hair.

She frowned and reached out to touch the boy's milky white skin.

It was smooth to the touch, and she was about to move up to his face when the boy's eyes snapped open.

Fu's eyes widened as they connected with the boy's bluish-white ones.

She recoiled or at least tried to as the boy had grabbed onto her wrist.

His grip was as strong as steel and nearly impossible for her to break free from.

"Who are you?" the boy asked in a strangely alien voice.

She didn't answer, all she wanted right now was to get away from the boy's penetrating gaze.

"Please let me go!" she pleaded, but the boy didn't move an inch.

"Who are you?" he asked again, tightening his grip.

She cried out, "LET ME GO!"

The door behind her burst open and the two jonin from earlier rushed in.

"Fu what are you-"

One of them started saying but stopped when the boy's gaze locked onto him.

"Who are you?"

One of the jonin gritted his teeth, "Byakugan!"

The other one nodded, "I'll go get Hisen-sama."

"Who are you?"
