7 The Truths

"Davis... Davis... wake... wake up... " called out someone looking at Tyson.

Tyson opened his eyes and found that he was shackled in chains and was tied to the trunk of an old overgrown banyan tree. Beside him, a man wearing a cloak who was also tied with his arms resting at the back of the tree and legs stretched apart.

"But, But How can I escape these chains and who is Davis? " stammered Tyson.

"You are Davis. Don't you remember anything? " cried the man in a serious tone.

"But, I am Tyson. My name is Tyson Blaze. I am a contender in the battle to determine an inheritor of the power." argued Tyson.

"No No No, This is happening. This serum with which you are injected with is polluting your mind. Fight with it. Remember who you are son!" cried the man at his full voice.

"Who am I? What is my Origin?" Tyson asked to himself.

"Tell me, Please tell me. Who am I and What's my Origin?" pleaded Tyson.

"Okay, Davis as you wish. Your Name is Davis Vanguard and you are my son. Son of Bruce Vanguard and Mylva Vanguard. That's it I cannot tell you more or the serum would detect my presence in your brain. Find me son and Free me." explained Bruce.

"You... It can't be. You are my dad!? And my real name is Davis Vanguard?" asked Tyson staring at Bruce with a confused look.

"How can you be my father if I am in a different universe than mine?" questioned Tyson.

"I cannot tell you everything. But, Becoming the Flame King is your destiny. Follow it and fight with what stops you from fulfilling your destiny and trust no one." answered Bruce looking directly into the eyes of Tyson.

"So, What do I call myself, Davis or Tyson?" asked Tyson.

"For now, let no one know that you had regained some parts of your memories but, once you enter the realm, 'Aceheim', Introduce yourself as Davis Vanguard," replied Bruce.

"Okay. But, can you tell me how to win this Tournament?" questioned Tyson looking at Bruce expectantly.

"No Davis, I cannot tell you anything about it. But, I can warn you about one thing. One of the contenders is wrongly chosen and he is destined to become the worst enemies of Aceheim." warned Bruce.

"Who is his father? Please tell me." cried Tyson but, the image of his father swirled around his eyes and faded slowly.

'I Love you My Son.' were the last words that came out of Bruce's mouth and he faded and with him, the whole scene faded leaving Tyson in complete darkness. Tyson cried with all his strength but, the scene did not return.

His gaze fell on his balled fists and he slowly relaxed his fingers to find a silver ring in his middle finger. Tyson saw an infinity loop carved on the silver ring after observing it for a few seconds.

Tyson started to think about the carvings on the ring and the meaning of the loop when the silver ring started to shine brightly and due to the radiance of the ring, Tyson closed his eyelids. When he once again opened his eyes, He found himself laying on the stone bed which was in the dark cell.

"What was that? A dream maybe." Tyson thought carefully and again his gaze fell on the silver ring which he wore in his middle finger. But, before he could do or think about anything, he heard someone calling him.

Tyson then saw two guards entering his cell and calling onto him. He knew both of the guards very well. One was a tall and muscular guy who wore a traditional soldier outfit and the other was a medium height girl who also wore the same outfit. Both of them were, Bryan and Sorra.

"What's it Sorra and Bryan?" enquired Tyson as he got up from the stone bed.

"Look, Bryan, What happened to Tyson? He's not moving." shrieked Sorra.

"What! What happened to you Tyson?" cried Bryan after looking at Tyson.

"What happened to me!? I am as good as new," said Tyson and looked at the shocked faces of both the guards.

Tyson saw that both Sorra and Bryan were staring at the thing which was beside him. Tyson followed their gaze and looked in the same direction as them. Immediately, He froze and his whole body began to tremble.

"What happened to me, Am I dead or What?" Tyson cried while staring at his body which lay lifeless on the stone bed but, unfortunately, no one was able to hear his words.

Tyson was about to utter something else but, a sudden realization struck him. He began to think and tried to remember where had he seen the silver ring. Immediately, he reached the conclusion that he had seen that ring in his father's middle finger and it was a ring capable of taking out the soul from the body.

"What should I do with this ability?" Tyson said to himself as he passed through the bars to the narrow alley leading up to the stairs.

Tyson hurried passed the alley and went inside the gateway which leads to the stairs. He slowly climbed the stairs and at last reached in front of a large gate. There were several carvings inscribed on the large door.

But, the most magnificent thing about the gate was that it was made up of silver which shone brightly when the moonlight touched its surface. Tyson placed his palm on the surface of the gate to feel the magnificence of it. But unfortunately, he directly passed through from the gate and tripped over the ground.

When Tyson came back to his senses, He realized that he was inside a hall which had a small fireplace in the corner and a small round table in the middle. It seemed as if it was a conference hall which held meetings between all the grandmasters.

Suddenly, Tyson heard a few whispers and hurriedly he hid under the table. Immediately, the large gate opened and three of the grandmasters entered the hall. Tyson came out of the place he was hiding when he realized that the grandmasters cannot detect his presence in the hall.

"Master Noah, are you sure about what you are saying?" questioned one of the three masters.

"Yes, Master William. I am sure that one of those four grandmasters is helping one of the contenders." assured another of the Masters.

"But, who would be helping one of the contenders?" asked the last Master.

"That is what I am asking Master Tolmus," said Master William.

"I think it would be Master Wallace," replied Master Noah after thinking for some time.

"No! I don't think so. After what Bruce did and left the Delheim, his brother Wallace Vanguard wouldn't do that." said Master Tolmus raising his voice.

"What! Master Wallace is my uncle?" muttered Tyson with a shocked expression.

"Yes, I believe that too. I mean after we captured Bruce and gave the title of Grand Master of Flame to his brother, I don't think Wallace has any reason to betray us," argued Master William.

Suddenly, the large door opened and two of the guards came running towards the Grand Masters. Both of them whispered something in the ears of the Masters and all of them left the room at once. Tyson also ran after them to see what they were up to.

After some time, All of the people including Tyson reached the cell where his body lay lifeless. The three Masters walked into the cell and checked the body of Tyson. But before anybody could understand anything, Tyson swooped inside his body and soon his soul regained its body and he again drifted into another of his dreams.
