Chapter One

Belle road silently in her father's police cruiser listening to her sister and father make small talk as they entered Forks. As far as she could tell nothing here as changed and nothing ever would. She sighed as they pulled into the driveway of hell as she liked to call it. She got out and grabbed her suitcase then followed her father to her room waiting until he left to unpack. She looked around and frowned, yep nothing has changed. Belle unpacked and went to help Bella with supper. After supper she went back upstairs and took a shower then changed into an old shirt then hopped into bed. It didn't take long for her to fall asleep though it took Bella what seemed like forever.

Belle woke up the next morning feeling nauseous about facing everyone at school. She was happy their dad had bought her and Bella a truck so at least they didn't have to ride in the cruiser. She ate her breakfast in silence listening to her father's happy thoughts or having his daughters home. Belle felt guilty for calling this place hell but she hated cold wet weather and storms terrified her. She finished her breakfast and kissed her father goodbye then her and Bella loaded into their truck and went to school. It was raining when they got there and they both dawned their raining jackets as they went to grab their schedules. When they walked out of the office a boy about their age approached Bella and asked if he could show them to class. Belle had a different class than her sister so she let Eric lead Bella away listening to his scattered thoughts knowing he was infatuated by her since she was new. 'I guess I'm just chopped liver huh?' she thought as she was new too and nobody has come up and offered to show her around.Belle found her first period biology class pretty easy and went to sit down by a small girl with a black pixie haircut who looked friendly enough. The girls thoughts were frantically searching to see how her boyfriend was doing being in a school full of humans. Belle frowned confused by why she was so worried since the girl looked normal to her. It wasn't until her thoughts took a dark turn that Belle realized that the girl sitting next her her wasn't human. Fear gripped her until she saw the face of the girl's boyfriend. It was scrunched in pain and he was having mental turmoil as he tried being in control like his siblings and Alice she looked towards the girl glad to at least know a name. Her fear subsided as she realized what they hunted wasn't humans. Belle stayed quiet as the pictures in Alice's mind continued to change and she saw everything the girl was thinking. 0nce the bell rang Belle gathered her stuff and walked out heading to her next class. She didn't have class with the strange girl again which saddened her but it was probably because Belle was taking senior classes hoping to graduate a year early wanting to be done with school. The day went by quickly and it was lunch time. Belle searched for Alice and spotted her at a table with her boyfriend and two other boys who must have been her 'Siblings.' She looked at all of them but her eyes stopped on the big muscular one who caught her attention. She read all there minds and knew he was upset he lost a wrestling match to his brother and Jasper was still having the inner struggle to keep control around the other students. Belle glanced away until she heard her sister's name and saw the youngest looking of Alice's siblings looking at her sister. Belle knew that Bella's friend must be telling her about the Cullen's because Bella was staring too and she heard Jessica's inner thoughts and wanted to get up and punch her for thinking those thoughts about her sister. She heard the youngest boy who she found out was named Edward become frustrated when he realized he couldn't hear Bella's thoughts which made Belle look towards the table realizing that he could hear their thoughts too. She grew happy knowing that there was another person like her. Belle looked at the muscular brother, who she now knew as Emmett when he happened to glance towards her chuckling when she quickly looked away blushing as she got caught staring.

Emmett's POV

Emmett chuckled and then got up as the rest of his family left to go to class. 'So there's two new students.' He thought as he left the class. He went to his senior math class and sat down putting his books on his desk and watching as a few other students started to come in. He noticed the new girl who had been staring walk in and pass by him to head to the front and introduce herself to the teacher. Emmett was fine until a vent blew her sent in his face and he smelled her blood. His whole body stiffened as his mouth started burning and he could taste the venom in his mouth. Emmett held his breath and stared out the window trying to think of anything else. The girl came and sat down in the desk next to him but quickly moved the desk away giving him some space. Emmett looked at her and the look on her face wasn't fear but guilt as if she felt sorry for making him be in pain as he fought the urge to kill her. Belle glanced at him and then looked down creating a shield with her hair so he could no longer see her face. Emmett was so confused and as he sat there trying to think of everything but the scent of her blood which was driving him insane. When the final bell rang he quickly left the room and went out to the woods so he could clear his head.
