5 Another world

Without even explaining what he meant to me he swept me off my feet, literally, and dashed into the forest back to his home. Once inside it he lead me to the back and heaved a giant boulder out of the way and leading to a strange place.

It was like looking into a completely different place. Even though it was clearly night time this place was most deferentially day time. With a great gasp, I stood there in shock.

"Is this what you meant?" I glanced at him, hardly able to tear my eyes away from the scene before me, "Is this what you meant by wanting to kidnap me?"

"Yes, I wanted to bring you to my world and keep you by my side. To be truthful I wanted to make you my Queen."

"WHAT!" I gasped in shock, now with my eyes completely focused on him, "I can't be a Queen I'm only 16 and I just met you!"

"I don't mean to make you Queen immediately because I understand all of this, but I plan to make you the Queen no matter what." His stern eyes stared straight at me clearly not letting me have a choice.

I glanced at the other world then back at Sage, I now felt like I had escaped one danger only to be lead to another and I knew that this time I wasn't going to be able to escape no matter what.

But I had to try so using the small stature I ducked underneath the gape between his legs but I not even able to get a foot away before I was trapped in his embrace.

"I'm sorry." Then it was day time and we stood in a hall surrounded by people of all types.

Horns, wings, multiple eyes, reptile skin, and so much more. Just by all of this, I could tell it was another world entirely.

Staring at everything in amazement I still clung to Sage, terrified to let him go, and completely forgetting what was going on only moments ago.

In an instant, they all turned their heads at us and bowed.

"Good fortune to his Majesty!" They all yelled in unison.

"Sage," I whispered, "Why?"
