6 The Snow Peak

At the base of the snow peak Jacobs stand there staring in the far stretched peak which seems to vanish into the clouds, The surrounding of the base is full of lush green vegetation with only a single path that leads towards the peak of the snow peak mountain. All around there was no sign of human presence and no beasts can be seen in the vicinity. This was the main path that leads towards the top of the snow peak and the path with no threat to life.

Jacobs stand there at the start of the mountain path thinking " It's the start of my path in this realm, it will lead me towards the exploration of various mysteries. Alas i don't know what's written for me after i take this path".

Jacobs starts to stroll on the path that leads towards the snow peak in a hurry like a devil has possessed him in the process. It was the excitement he felt towards the cultivation world and his new experience towards various happenings that makes him run towards the snow peak with high speed. But the path was long and rough, just roughly after tracking a distance of 1 kilometer Jacobs felt like all the energy in his body was drained and he felt like falling. Due to the eruption of weakness Jacobs slows down and start finding a shelter where he can replenish the energy. After covering a 100 meter distance he finds himself a place to sit. The place was filled with lush vegetation, but there was a small clearing near a tree. It seems to be the resting spot for the tribesmen who comes to the snow peak for picking herbs and vegetation.

As he sits down to rest his mind start wandering in the direction of the finding a hidden treasure or something which no one has found in the area of the snow peak. So to clear his misunderstanding he unleashes his third spiritual eye. In the view of the third spiritual eye everything remains calm and Jacobs can see the various variety of herbs growing in the nearby areas. There were some herbs hidden deep in the ground that no one has found, but those herbs were hidden so deep that he doesn't have the power necessary to dig them out. After seeing that there was nothing of use for him he gets up and starts to continue his journey towards the path of the snow peak.

He walk slowly for a kilometer then find a clearing to rest. During the period of the rest he will unleash the third spiritual eye to watch around. This process continues for half of the journey and as the journey continues Jacobs control over the third spiritual eye gets better and better.

At the half end road of the snow peak Jacobs stops to take rest and as usual he opens his third spiritual eye. As he watch the surrounding environment he fells that something was not right the qi flow in the air was diverted towards a certain direction 300 meter away from him.

"This is something new lets move in that direction to find out who is absorbing the qi of heaven and earth".

Jacobs move in the direction of the key flow, after moving for a distance of 200 to 300 meter he saw a white lotus standing tall in between the green trees and plants. The lotus was giving a frosty air all around it. By seeing the lotus Jacobs seems to recall something which he have seen in the store, an object which can act as a catalyst to help him in practicing the coldest storm technique 'The snow lotus'.

"System how can i harvest the snow lotus without destroying it's essence" asked Jacobs.

"Host can just go near the snow lotus and move your right hand towards the snow lotus. Every thing else will be taken care of by the system".

Jacobs does as the system suggested and the snow lotus just vanishes in his right hand.

"Host have gained a snow lotus"

"Congratulation host for obtaining your first treasure. Host have now gained a chance to use your luck in the luck section or host can choose to obtain a C Grade skill".

"System i will just take the chance to use my luck in the luck section, use it after i have cultivated the coldest storm".

Jacobs can be seen walking to the summit of the snow peak slowly slowly, he seems to be so excited after gaining his first treasure. It seems like the heavens were smiling on him. As he walks and walks he reached at the summit of the snow peak but to his shock there was no snow or cold at all. Every where he see there was lush green vegetation growing, his mind doesn't know what was going on. Up until now everything he knows about the snow peak goes down the drain, there was not a single speck of snow to be seen on the snow peak.

"What the hell is happening here, is it the snow peak, the famous snow peak which has snow covered all around the year? Now when i am here there is nothing, nothing at all. I found a technique and a suitable place to cultivate it. Now when i am here at the right place everything seems like a joke".

"What should i do? What should i do? Jacobs murmured in a heavy voice. After a small panic attack Jacobs sits down near a tree taking deep breath to calm his mind down. There should be a reason for all this, lets just see whats hidden in this place. Jacobs opens the third spiritual eye and what he sees through the third spiritual eye shocked him to the core.

There was a cold lake at the center of the snow peak which was filled with pure essence of the snow. The lake was replenishing at a moderate pace and the path towards the lake was hidden deep in the forest away from the eyes of the normal people. The snow peak was col throughout the year but it was not because of the snow but the lake which was hidden deep in the snow peak.

After watching the lake with his third spiritual eye Jacobs calmed himself down and starts moving towards the direction of the lake entrance which was hidden behind lush green vegetation. Until someone has luck that can rival the heavens no one can find the entrance to the lake, it was so well hidden. Jacobs got closer and closer to the entrance and finally after reaching the entrance he starts moving towards the direction of the lake. As he goes near to the lake the cold starts increasing. To stop the cold from entering his body he starts circulating the cultivation technique the coldest storm.
