4 The Peerage of Life and Death

{Angela's POV}

I kinda like this side of him but he needs to control himself. I stood up and punched Issei in the face and rushed to Deviel side.

"Hush hush calm down. I am fine. Everything's fine , darling."

He stared at me for a few seconds and I saw his look melting away. Ever since we activated his powers he had emotional problems. Sometimes even break downs.

This one time when I talked to a friend of mine , Envy activated. He tried to calm down but in the end he cried. In the end I took him to his room to calm him down.

He hugged me for a second and we went back to the couch.

{Deviel's POV}

That was close. I nearly killed him there. That would've been a war declaration to the four maou.

"Uhmm , I am sorry. I lost control over myself." I said while smiling.

I saw how most of the girls in this room started to blush after that and I decided to stop.

"It's an honour to meet the heirs of the Gremory and Sitri Family."

Their faces turn cold after hearing that.

"How do you know that?" asked Rias.

Sona also had a questioning look while every other person kept staring at me.

"I should at least know the families of two of the four maou , right?"

"Who are you and what do you want?" asked Sona.

Everyone suited themselves for the possibility of a fight. Not like they'll survive fighting me.

"Like I introduced ourselves. Deviel Light and Angela Darkness. We decided to settle down here and go to school. Of course we knew it was your territory. But you should take care of it more. Stray devils , stray exorcist and fallen angel all swarm around this town. And that's our offer."

"What do you mean?" Rias looked at us confused.

"You'll allow us to stay here and know about our existence. And we'll take care of the garbage in this town. Not like we did it for more than two months. But of course you're not allowed to talk about us to anyone from the supernatural world."

I hold out my hand. She hesitated for a second and looked to Sona. Sona thought about it and nodded in aggreement. Rias took my hand and a blue flame engulfed our hands.

"What was that if i might ask?"

"Devil's pact. If you break it you'll die." I smiled brightly. But to everyone of them it looked like a Devil's smile. They even forgot that they were Devils themselves for a second.

We stood up and walked towards the door. Angela casted a heal spell on the surrounding and healed the unconcious Issei and Saji and the holes in the wall.

"We thank you for coming to an aggreement. We will take our leave now."

{Timeskip}

After we walked out of the room she punched me which created a hole in my abdomen. It quickly regenerated.

"Stupid , for the next few days you will train to control your emotions. Before you start declaring war against everyone. Didn't we decide to lay low for now till we are strong enough to take on even the whole world." Sh shouted at me.

"I am sorry , dear." I felt tears in my eyes.

She hugged me and teleported back to our house. We went out and hunted down all of the stray devils we could find. That sure was a feast for me.

{Timeskip}

A few weeks went by. We slowly got accustomed to the daily plan and started training even harder. I had my basic emotion under control now so that I won't break down in front of anyone. I also discovered a few things about hers and my magic.

Our magic could be called living magic. It's like a living being growing stronger while being in our absolute control. I can also create physical things with my magic. I created a katana and gave it a part of my soul. I called it Nodo no Kawaki , because I used the bloodthirsty part of my soul.

(AN: I tried using romaji (Japanese in our letters) . It should mean Bloodthirst or a translation near it. Should I keep using romaji or should I use the English word for it ?)

While I used my bloodthirsty part , Angela used her which made her a king. A being able to rule over everything. She infused it with her staff ( btw. it looks like the staff of Palutena if you want to know). She named it Seifuku-sha.

If you asked from where I got that idea. It was something of my past life , it just popped into my head. I couldn't remember much about it but sometimes random and helpful ideas pop in my head and memories randomly appear. I feel like someone has their hands in this case but I just thank this being for being (no pun intended) helpful.

Like you guessed not much happened beside the normal story. I took care of all the stray devils. Issei broke off Rias marriage. We were there. Uninvited. We watched through a window on top of the building. It was fun watching that {insert EVERY known insult} beaten by Issei.

I also used my free-time after training everyday to research everything about Evil pieces. I clearly understood that Evil pieces are too weak and have many faults in it. First , you can't revive a too strong or godly being with it. Second , they can hurt and kill their own king. This is also the reason why there are so many stray devils. Not that I complain , their souls are important to me.

{Random point of time}

{3rd Person}

"I DID IT!!!!!" a scream was heard through out the whole house. It was in the middle of the night.

A sleepy girl in her pajamas came slowly walking downstairs. She was awake because of the loud noise disturbing her beaty sleep.

"uhmm..what is it Deviel?" she mumbled while rubbing her eyes.

"Ohh! I am sorry for waking you up but come here I must show you this." You were able to see the exitment in his eyes. She walked to him.

On a table were 16 chess pieces. Eight pawns , two rocks , two knights , two bishop , one queen and a king piece.

"Are we going to play chess?" She asked quietly. She was still sleepy after forcefully waking up in the night.

"Stop joking. I made a breakthrough when I saw Rias Evil piece. They were made with a catalyst which was the cristal to infuse them with magic which are giving

them their power. And that's why I made vessels to infuse our magic." he said proudly.

Now the girl was fully awake and they hugged each other.

"Wait. We can do that later. Let's start creating our own."

He came up with this ideas after trying to learn more about their magic. Light and darkness. Holy and demonic. They shouldn't be able to exist together but Deviel Light and Angela Darkness were able to fuse their magic. He called it origin.

Because when there is no darkness there can't be any light. And if there is no light there in no light.

He told her when he named it this and said. Light is the origin of life and darkness will always be together with light.

They sat in front of the pieces and a black aura and white aura emitted from their bodies. Soon the aura was sucked in the pieces and they changed colours. It was a like if you put ink in a cup of water.

"WE DID IT!" they screamed out but then collapsed on the ground because of several reason.

The man was exhausted because he was awake for several weeks skipping sleep to researcha bout evil pieces and the woman was just sleepy.

{Deviel's POV}

Oh shit . Oh shit

"Angela wake up we are going to be late!"

I said while waking her up. She turned to me and gave me a hug. She wispered in my ear.

"Don't wanna " and fell asleep instantly.

I sighed. I already learned that when she wants to do something it won't be easy to get it out of her head. I used magic and changed my clothes and hers to the Kuoh uniform.

I put her on my shoulder and ran out of our house with so much speed that it won't reveal my identity.

Well when they knew I would be wearing restrainers and weight of 200 kg while carrying a teenage girl with one arm , most people would probably freak out.

{Timeskip}

Thank higher being who is not the biblical god , that school is over. It's boring if you already know everything. We nearly came late. I bursted with Angela on my shoulder one second before class starts. I also was half asleep mid class. But the teacher had such a funny face when Angela answered his question while sleeping.

"So what do we do now?" Angela asked.

"We're going to use these pieces , my queen." I said while smirking at her.

"I am not your queen yet " she said with a smile. "So how do we use them?"

"I think if I hold them in front of the person and infuse them with my magic they should be absorbed. They should have the same effect like normal evil pieces but several times stronger." I explained to her.

I did as I said and hold the king piece in front of me. When it was absorbed Angela expression wided and summoned Seifuku-sha and placed a barrier around the whole room. Suddenly a dark miasma coming from my body filled the whole room and Angela's barrier started cracking.

"Tsk." she clicked her tongue and created multiple barriers to hold back this power.

Five minutes passed. All barriers have already cracked and she used everything she have and created a barrier around the house. Everything beside the light emitting from her was pitch-black.

It felt like a tornado was released sucking all of the black stuff in my body. Everything started to get clearer and I could see Angela falling to the ground because of exhaustion.

"Hup" I catched her quickly and used magic to restore hers.

"What just happened?" she questioned me.

"I guess I overdid it while making them." I said while laughing. "When absorbing into the body they will fuse with us. I never knew how Ajuka made them that they increased someone's power and make them a devil. Ours will fuse with our heart and will work as a power increaser. If a human is given this it will unlock everything to them and they will have the same strength like someone worthy to be in our peerage."

"You did a good job." she said. "So what is the strength multiplier of the pieces."

"Well for king and queen somewhere around 2000 and for the rest of the pieces somewhere around 1000."

She just stared at me. She had this expression like she was looking at a child who just painted their house's wall in rainbow colours.

"I said I overdid it." I said.

"Whatever , I don't care anymore."

Now we did the same process with the queen piece. This time I had to make the barrier and I realised how hard it actually is. Our powers are probably on par with each other. Well , I had a few ideas for our comrades. I opened my phone and noted it.

New goals in this life:

-form a super op peerage

-kick all the factions in the butt

-taking over this universe

-taking over other universe
