Ancient Beasts

{Deviel's POV}

It's really stressful making a peerage strong enough. I found a few options for my peerage.

First: Travilling with the help of enough Origin Energy to another world and get the OP characters from their dimension

Second: Reviving Gods and Beast who died in the Holy war.

I am up for both of them. But I used a lot of time creating a satellite searching for dense amount of magic in the atmosphere.

In the Atlantic Ocean was one of these places. I teleported near this point and found a small island under water. No inhabitants. Probably a beast or someone who died thousands of years ago.

Well it's going to be my first servant I guess.

"Deviel!! Stop staring around and concentrate. If you solve this your off." the teacher shouted angrily.

"The answer is 9968041 sir." I said ,"Can I and Angela leave school."

Before he could answer I opened the window and we both jumped out and ran away. The teacher had a dumbfound look while thinking and realise that my answer was indeed correct. He frowned when realising how easily I solved the problem.

"Where are we going?" asked Angela.

"First home than to the world."

"???"

{Angela's POV}

I didn't question his commands. I realised after being with him that his planning is something a normal person couldn't understand.

When we arrived , he activated a barrier. We sat down on the table and he pulled something out.

It was his rook piece. But it had not the mixture of white and black colours ( btw. it looks like when you put a bit of ink in a glass of water) but instead it was pure black and it had an aura which made me feel like I will somehow die the moment I touch it.

"What happened?" I asked.

"I fed it magic..." he casually said "it became even stronger."

"And what do you want to do now???"

He got up and fetched a box out of one of the rooms. He held it towards me and opened it. There were 16 chess pieces. Or rather vessels for magic.

"I made one set for you" he said and smiled.

I jumped and hugged him. We stood there like this for a few seconds and he lightly placed a kiss on my lips. I couldn't help but chuckle a bit when I saw him blush.

We did the same as last time but after that he said I should keep doing so. Of course I followed his suggestion. The pieces slowly turned white when he told me to stop.

"This is your set. Mine will awake the chaos and darkness in them , yours will open the way to the light and give them a blessing from god." he said.

I always thought he liked poetry or theatre and I guess he actually does. It seems like an overdramatic roleplay to me.

I picked up the king piece and and hold it towards my chest it glowed white when particles entered my body. But this time I onew what would happen and I controled and feeled my new powers.

"Would you give me the honour to become your queen?" Deviel said when bowing before me.

I couldn't sop laughing but I picked up my Queen piece and gave it to him.

The air became dense around him when he absorbed the piece. First it felt like a healing feeling but then another power overpowered this feeling giving it a damgerous aura. I stood still not knowing what to do for minutes until he rised up and the feeling disappeared.

"I guess it was because of the two powers fighting for control." he told me "anyway let's go."

"Where?"

"Atlantic Ocean. I found two island one with high energy giving the feeling of death and one giving the feeling of something holy."

I couldn't help but hide my disbelieve. How couldn't the supernatural haven't discovered it yet.

"If my theory is true ' they might come from a corpse of extremly strong creature meaning we only need to revive them giving us more strength."

We removed the barrier around the house and flew off to our destination.

{Timeskip}

{Deviel's POV}

I am currently flying towards an island on the horizon. Just now I told Angela where the other island is. We decided that I go to this island where I felt like a constant run from an apex.

When I arrived at the island I walked towards the origin of the energy. The island was a jungle. But every second I walked torwards the centre pf the island the air became denser. It was like when you stand on top of Mount Everest. Not like I ever did.

Finally I arrived. Halfway through I had to activate my aura so that I won't sink into the ground.

In rhe exact centre of this island were bones. Giant bones. After reimagine the whole skeleton of this creature the thruth hit me. A dinosaur. A giant one. An Apex predator. I pulled out a black rook piece of mine and held it towards the skull of this beast.

"I , Deviel Light , command you to rise up again to the top , to stand beside me to conquer the world. You shall be my rook , the pillar of my family and protect the ones who we hold dear and bring chaos to our enemies."

The piece vanished and a dark fog surrounded the bones they were pulled together and muscle skin organs covered the whole skeleton. Scales were the last part appearing when a 50 feet long grey dinosaur was lying on the ground. (AN: around 15 metres i guess)

A red glow appeared in the eyes of it. It crawled up and looked at me. It's head pointed to the sky when it roared. I activated multiple barriers so that this roar won't reach the heaven and hell.

"Bow before me " I said coldly. I knew what it is. Indominus Rex. A artificially created dinosaur from a movie in my world. It was an apex. An apex predator is a beast which stands on top of the food chain meaning it has no natural enemies. Of course I had to know if it would follow every command of mine. It lay his head on the ground which reminded me of a picture of a T-Rex making his bed.

I saw determination in his eyes. Not of a killer but of someone who awaits orders. I used magic and a small line between us was visible. I infused everything about this situation , magic and what happened the last millions years after it died.

This time it didn't felt like a wild beast but instead a monster with great wisdom assisting the king of the land.

A magic circle appeared under it when his body started shrinking and forming a body. Before me stood a around 40-50 year old looking man in a butlers suit. His hair was grey with a few places with black hair.

"My king." he said while bowing before me.

After seeing multiple diffrent levels of strength from the normal human to the ORC and random strays he new that this guy is way stronger than all of them together. For some reason it , no I mean he , had absorbed tons of magic over the millions years. My strength also rose. Probably every time I add someone to my peerage my strength also increase.

"I think I will call you Rex for now." I said plainly. I really had no idea how to call him.

"Of course. I thank my king for giving this lowly being a name."

Lowly Being? You're a beast who reached the top millions of years ago?.

"Please just don't. You can be my butler if you want but there is no need for such an at actually."

"Of course. Then I will call you master in the future."

He's a rook right? He should have extremely high physical powers with my chess piece.

"Rex , can you attack me with full power."

"If this is what you wish for." he looked at me slightly confused but regain a neutral expression.

I knew he was serious. The second I order him , he will do it. He went into a basic karate stance.

And dashed towards me. He pulled his arm out from behind a punched me with all his power.

I definitely underestimated him. I instantly realise the threat and created a shield with all of miasma and activated several barriers. He pushed through. My black aura instantly dissolved and all my barriers started to crack. He pushed through until there was only the last one left.

"I am suprised of my master's strength. It seems like I'll never reach your strength.

'WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!' was the only thing I could think. You just pulled a OPM move and you say you are inferior to me. I guess his strength comes from his dinosaur strength and mass concentrated in a human body.

"Whatever , Rex do you want to know something before we leave."

"Could you give me a minute , master."

"Uhmm , sure..." I was really confused. What did he want to do. After he left I looked around and saw a path behind me wich was atleast 50 meter long.

'That was his full power punch. Are you Saitama?'

After exact 60 seconds he came back. With an egg.

"What do you want to do?" I asked.

"I once found this egg and felt an extremly high energy in it and I would like master to take care of it."

He looked like a a small child wanting a new toy from his mother. The egg he was holding was pure black. It aroused my interest. The egg felt like a condensed form of the energy of this island. Rex probably absorbed it's energy. But it seems like to have an unlimited amount.

"No problem , let's go."

I formed wings and to claws from my back. One of them picked up Rex the other the egg.

I flew around 5 minutes until I saw a huge white dragon and on it's back a certain girl of mine.

"Deviel what took you so long?"

{Angela's recruitment}

FLASHBACK

I just used my white rook and now there is a huge white dragon standing infront of me.

"Do you have a name?"

"People used to call me Hikari because of my connection to the light."

"Coooool. My name's Angela. You're my rook. I also have a husband. His name is Deviel. He's also looking for his rook at the moment. Can I ride on you?"

"Of course , if you wish so , misstress Angela."

I jumped on her and she flew off.

FLASHBACK END

That was short.

"Good to meet you Hikari. This here is my rook Rex."

"It's also good to meet you master Deviel."

We flew back to Kuoh. I and Angela used barriers to mask our presence. Ever since I met Hikari I understood two things. First she's female. Second she gives off extremly high holy magic.

I will show them tomorrow how to not perma release her magic.

When we came back Hikari transformed in a blond maid. She had the same serious face like Rex next to her. I went back and examined this egg. While Angela showed them around and told them what they could do.

{Angela's POV}

I was in the kitchen making dinner together with Hikari. While Rex was setting the table. Than I heard from the basement.

"WHAAAT THE!!!!! THAT'S A F****************** PHOENIX EGG!"
