2 Ch 2: Reading A Book

The book's name was the mortal world, which talked about the five different kingdoms. Also, it spoke about how and why these kingdoms came into existence, and from this book, I learned about my surrounding kingdoms.

The five kingdoms that were present in the world were:

Sky kingdom

Air kingdom

Fury kingdom

Pure Water kingdom

Rock Hard kingdom

These kingdoms made the land of Mortal, and each domain had various sects. Still, each kingdom had one of the five noble sects representing each kingdom and fought each other every ten years to deem the best sect and kingdom.

Sky kingdom was located in the north, Air kingdom was found in the south, Pure Water kingdom was located in the west, and the Rock Hard Kingdom was in the east. In contrast, the fury kingdom was found in the middle.

Bao lived in the Kingdom of Fury, which was in the middle of the world and was one of the most prominent kingdoms.

When I read those stupid and weird names, I knew immediately that the writer was retarded or had major writer block. Still, then again, I did care the least as at least I lived in one of the coolest kingdoms.

After reading some history went to the martial arts section, looked at a bunch of skills, and saw these skills.

Lightning fist

Qi Gathering technique

I took lightning fist and Qi Gathering technique with me. I handed them over to the librarian in hopes that I could borrow these books and study them in my room while cultivating.

When I handed over the books, she took them, checked them, and then took out a phone and called someone, and then my grandfather appeared out of nowhere with a phone in his hand.

Wait, stop right there, the audience. You will start criticizing me about how he got a cellphone and isn't this a cultivator's world?

I would like to point out that the first time I saw a phone, I was also astonished that things like phones and technology existed in this world that was full of cultivators.

My grandfather came and asked me what I would do with the books. I replied I would use them for cultivating, and then he burst into laughter and laughed as if there was no tomorrow.

He then said, " Do you think I would trust you with martial art books and went on to say, I don't believe you a bit, and he even went on to say, who knows, maybe you will sell these books for money.

I felt so annoyed when he said this and blamed that stupid young master whose body I had taken over as he had the most senseless and idiotic attitude towards life, would do anything for money, and had no honesty and respect towards himself or any others.

I tried to argue that I had changed, but the grandfather stood there on his ground and did not let me leave with those scripts and instead kicked me out of the library (literally). Even the librarian burst out in laughter.

I then went back to my room, called my Buttler, asked him about selling those alcoholic drinks kept in my room, earned 100 copper per bottle, and got 2500 bronze coins.

I forgot to explain the currency system in this world. Well, here it is

There are three currencies they are copper, silver, and gold.

1000 copper coins= 1 silver coin

1000 silver coins= 1 gold coin

1000 gold coins = 1 diamond note

1000 diamond notes = 1 spiritual stone

I then sat down and started cultivating again, but this time something strange happened. I entered a white room and remembered that this was the same white room I had joined in my dream and went and then picked up the book on the table.

I then opened the black book, which suddenly vanished in thin air. I found that my surroundings had changed entirely and saw that I was in the same white room, but the room was divided into many different parts and, in total, had 12 pieces.

I was in front of a golden-colored board, and I was baffled and started asking myself where I was if I died again and what the hell was happening. Someone explained to me.

As I screamed these questions out and almost fell to the floor of exhaustion, suddenly, the place started to move like crazy, and I felt as if I had just experienced an earthquake.

Then suddenly, I saw a book kept in front of me, and I started to read it aloud as I wanted to know what was going on with me.

It said the Qi that made the world was red. It was the purest Qi, and the fraction of this Qi created the universe. Whoever behold this Qi shall be the Immortal who gets it all and shall be the ruler.

I was confused when I read this stuff and was shocked that whoever had this Qi could rule over people of the world, and I was pretty confused about mostly everything else.

As soon as I finished reading this, suddenly, a red Qi was immersed in the air, and I felt as if I was reborn, relaxed, and suddenly stopped thinking and completely calmed down.

I soon vanished along with the red Qi and merged with it and suddenly felt this Qi all around my body. When I reappeared, I saw thousands of books in front of me and was enticed to see so many books.

As I headed closer to the books, I felt heavier and heavier and was quite astonished and confused by what was happening. Then suddenly I saw a book fly towards me.
