Huang Rong, the sole heir and the next master of the Huang Clan. And this year, it was supposed to be his family's turn to guard the seal. Unfortunately, in the middle of the 18th century, the Lu family went missing together with the seal. After that, the remaining three families' priority was to look for the Lu's. And it has been like that for generations.
It was the first day of school and there were a lot of girls that were starting to follow him towards his classroom. This was one thing that he hated the most.
He felt his phone vibrate on his left pocket. He got it out to see who was calling, seeing who was calling, he quickly pressed the green button.
"Mei Jie?" he asked.
"Where are you?" she asked, her voice were like she just ran a mile.
"I'm on my way to the classroom. Is there anything wrong?" he asked.
"Hurry up or I'll beat you to a pulp," she said.
"Why?" he asked again.
"JUST FCKING HURRY UP!" she yelled and then hung up.
He was confused as to why his sister was like that. He decided to rush to their classroom only to find that his classmates were outside.
"What happened?" he asked one of his classmates.
"Dunno, your sister told us to get out. There was this strange girl in our uniform sleeping inside. She also has this fresh wound on the back of her hand, a symbol or something," his classmate replied.
He was utterly confused so he decided to check the girl inside. His sister was already in there, with Zedong and Zhihao.
"What's this?" he asked them.
"Do you know this sign?" Mei asked as she showed the girls backhand.
The symbol was familiar but he couldn't remember.
"What's your name?" he asked the girl.
"She can't remember bro. She's as clueless as any of us," Zhihao said.
"Alright, but let's bring her to the infirmary. That wound would sure leave a scar," Zedong said.
After the girl was taken to the infirmary, they contacted the headquarters and sent the photo they took of the wound mark on the girl's hand.
"This is the first time we've seen this symbol," Zhong Ling said as she looked at the picture.
"Well, I need you to look for people or places or whatever. When can I have the results?" Zhihao asked.
"I don't know, but I will try to give you the results within a week," Zhong Ling said.
"Ok, thanks," they said and ended the video call.
"I should check on that girl if she's okay," Mei said and left for the infirmary.
"I really feel like I've seen that symbol from a very long time ago," Rong said as he leaned back on his chair.
"Me too. My gut tells me we should do a little digging on this girl," Zhihao said as he sipped from his tea.
They quickly turned around when they heard a rustling behind a big plant.
"Who's there?!" Zhihao yelled.
Before Rong approached the person behind the plants, Zedong picked up the person.
"Wait, you were the girl from earlier. Why are you here?!" Zhihao asked.
Just then, Mei came rushing in, looking for the girl.
"Hey, do you know where ... where were you? The nurse was so worried that you ran off after she bandaged your hand," Mei said as she hugged the girl.
She felt like there was some strong connection between her and the girl.
"I-I was told to stick close to him," she said as she pointed to Zhihao.
"Who told you?" Rong asked.
"I-I don't know. I don't know," the girl said as she was about to burst into tears.
The four of them looked at each other. They all realized the girl was tortured and was traumatized because of this.
The girl suddenly fell to her feet and cried.
"Quick, let's get her to the nearest hospital!" Zhihao ordered to his bodyguards while Rong covered the girl with his coat and Zedong picked her up.
When they bought the girl to the hospital, the doctor told them what they were guessing earlier.
"We'll have to put her under strict observation, young Masters. We'll keep her safe in here," the doctor said.
"Good thing you bought her here. Grandfather will be here later. He said he's a little suspicious of the symbol so he said he'd better take a look," Mei said when she entered the room.
"Good, grandfather will know what to do with her," Rong said.
After making sure the girl was safe, they all went back to the school. Mei wouldn't allow them to cut classes, after all, she's the student body president.
