1 Epilogue - Death of the Last Princess

"Now...I shall do it."

Gently placing the letter on the desk, handwritten immaculately with bold lines of crimson that became more prominent under the pale, luminous streams of moonlight, she calmly rose from where she sat for what seemed like eternity, and walked steadily towards the main hall with soft and heavy footsteps.

For a long time, she was finally at peace - a sense of calm that finally rewards a ship that has long weathered numerous, turbulent storms at sea.

As her pale, slender figure stood silently in the centre of the main hall, she slowly unsheathed her sword, intricately carved with engravings and marked with the blood of countless enemies, and silently marvelled at it.

This sword, personally crafted by her beloved mentor, has been her most faithful companion in countless of wars and life experiences, long before she remembered. However, not a moment, especially the present moment she is in now, must be wasted.

She slowly turned the sword towards her abdomen, relished the last moments before the abrupt end of her life and spoke her final words from the deep recesses of her mind.

"Farewell, beloved world. If fate permits, we shall meet again."

With a deep, sorrowful smile, she swiftly plunged the sword within her abdomen. Waves of crimson liquid oozed out of the wound...and within seconds, the last Princess was no more.
