Back to the present

Renaldo is currently wearing a steel mask that took its design from japanese samurais, they were menacing, he doesn't want others to see his appearance while he is conducting operations like these as this is some sort of training for him and also a sort of small help to the filipino people as he is still currently waiting for the revolution.

With boiling anger, Renaldo's wrath came quick and he immediately moved as fast as he could using his improved strength as a man improved by various strengthening techniques that he has applied to himself in this second life of his, he immediately incapacitated the soldier and then broke the hands of the fat friar, this led to the friar letting go of Juan as he can't hold on to him no more.

Renaldo then asked the friar;

"Why? why did you do this you disgusting piece of filth?!"

The friar replied; "You! You can't do this to me! I'm a man of God! I was simply teaching these savages the ways of the Lord and gave them pleasure at the same time!" the friar said, convinced with his identity and power as a friar of the church.

Seeing this, Renaldo is repulsed by what the friar has said, and then repeated his question;

"WHY. DID. YOU. DO. THIS!?" Renaldo then broke the legs of the friar with his bare hands, with his current strength level, he can do these kinds of stuff, especially with the help of his past life's scientific achievements, he is currently the only superhuman in this timeline, but with the lack of resources, and technological barriers this is currently the maximum strength that is achievable by him.

"AAAAAA!!!! W-WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING THIS YOU IGNORANT SAVAGE?! YOU ARE INTERFERING WITH THE WILL OF GOD!" the friar said, a mixture of anger and fear coursing through his veins, he immediately retreated to using his position as a friar, as a man of the catholic church.

Seeing this, Renaldo immediately removed the scalp of the friar's head, to torture the man, but he first made him bite a towel as to muffle his screams so that the guardia civil won't be alerted, because although this place is secluded, being more cautious won't hurt, especially for a man like Renaldo.

He then removed the cuffs of the child to free him, while saying in controlled anger and some affection;

"You were the aggrieved side in this affair, I failed you as a fellow man for I have arrived late, this is the only thing that I can do for you, I can give you the chance for justice and the chance for vengeance, you can do what you want with these three people, although I don't know if the bleeding guy is still alive, but you can do whatever the fuck you want with them, I won't stop you and I will be your lookout"

The kid looked at Renaldo with shining eyes, this is what he was yearning for throughout this night's ordeal! He wants to thrash these people who raped him and his family! He wants to kill them with his own hands!

"Why did they have to do this mister?! We always paid the tributes on time! We went to church every sunday and worked 6 days a week for 12 hours, sometimes even longer. We were honest people! WE NEVER VIOLATED ANY RULES! WE NEVER WENT AGAINST THEM! I THOUGHT THE SOLDIERS WERE THERE TO PROTECT US?! BUT WHY DID THEY ALSO JOINED IN WHEN WE CALLED FOR THEIR HELP?! WHY MISTER? WHY?!" The child said these words while full of pain and anguish, they were the most obedient family in these parts but just because his mother is a bit whiter than usual, these pigs jumped on them like hungry animals slaughtering their prey.

Renaldo comforted the kid for a bit but then stood up and ordered some of his dogs to bring the two dead bodies of the child's parents to his hacienda to give them a proper burial, 10 dogs stopped their feast and immediately did Renaldo's orders. Renaldo also wrote a letter and ordered a bird to deliver it to one of his men to bury the bodies.

Renaldo then ordered his dogs to stop and to go back home. He brought Juan with him to raise him as part of his people.

Juan, with nowhere else to go, went with Renaldo as to see the future that Renaldo told him. Renaldo's words appeared to the child like moths to a flame. It ignited the heart of the grieving child, it ignited his desire for strength and for sweet vengeance.
