2 The System

"Hah" said Eser as he jumped out of his slumber when out of nowhere an intense headache suddenly came.

"what happened?" he said "I should be dead, was it the strange voice that did something to me?"

[Strange?]

[How rude]

"Who are you and why am I hearing you inside my head?" Eser said without losing his composure too much.

[Don't be so surprised, after all, we've been through so much things together.]

[I have always been with you]

[Master]

"Always been with me, I don't have anyone around me even my fathers avoids me, what the hell is he talking abo..." Eser stopped and looked around in confusion, "My necklace, where is it! it was right here, could it be.."

[Hm]

[So have you figured it out yet?]

"I'm guessing it had something to do with you based off the smugness in your voice." Eser said as he regained his composure.

[I was the red ruby, Master]

[I believe you know that I was removed from your body after birth but we are one and the same]

[After years of being a piece of rock around your neck, I am finally back in the original source]

[...]

[How strange, you seem to be taking this information rather well, Master]

"Well I figured this is either real or I'm out of my mind, but it beats talking myself." Eser said with a hint of sadness while curled up sitting on the floor.

[.....]

[Let me introduce myself]

[I am a system that has helped hundreds of people across different dimensions, timelines and realms to achieve power that they could only dream of.]

"Hold on I thought you said that we were one, if so how are we the same if you have helped hundreds of people does that mean that I am also connected with them somehow?"

[No, you are a bit unique with all my other host I would only integrate with them after certain conditions]

[when they died I could easily search for others for I am entity that can freely travel realms]

[I had no choice with you though I had believed life cycle was done after so many failed host, but it seems that I was wrong I simply reborn as a tiny speck of molecules inside you]

[We then merged together while you were merely a cell, and from what I have learned I become absolutely inactive when separated from your body and you will get weaker until you die as you must have figured out by now]

[So you see Master, unlike with the others we will most likely perish if we separate for too long, meaning if you die I will also cease to be]

"So what if you get removed from my body again?" Eser asked worriedly.

[Worry not, I have taken measures to fully integrate which means my essence is in every part of your body]

[it's no longer possible to separate]

"So did my body become normal, I don't feel as weak as I did before" he said as he felt strength he hasn't felt in years.

[Master's Brody has been restored to past peak condition]

Eser thought back to four years ago when his mother died and he was in such a depressed state that he refused to go to school or continue his intensive training exercises, soon after that his body started to get weaker faster than it was before.

[Master, to check your condition say <status>]
