6 Exploring The System's Shop

Rem opened the shop. In the shop, there were weapons, armor, potions, food, clothes, and all the supplies you can think of. The currency the shop used was called Uken. Not only was the shop for buying stuff, but there was also a function where Rem is allowed her to sell items in exchange for the Uken.

'This shop has almost everything! Hmmm... Some parts of the shop are still locked... I wonder if this world uses this shop's currency?' Rem wondered.

Rem began browsing the shop. After a few minutes, she made a conclusion.

'For now, I don't really need anything... I don't have any money right now anyway. I need to level up some more. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to fight stronger monsters soon. I'll just defeat these boars and try to gain a few more levels from them. After that, I'll search for a stronger monster to fight. I really can't risk dying... I didn't get my revenge yet!'

After a few hours of grinding, Rem obtained 64 F Ranked Mana Stones, 64 Forest Boar Bodies, 43 Forest Boar Hides, and 58 Forest Boar Horns. She has gained five levels.

'These boars are too weak... I can feel I've definitely gotten stronger.'

Rem checked her status.

'Now I can look like a beast-man whenever I want??? There's no cooldown too! That's awesome! When I turn into a beast-man, I should be able to talk, right? The MP cost is 100... Not bad but I don't want to waste my MP..! Urg whatever, I'm going to test this out for a minute!'

Rem used her Transformation skill. She looked at her reflection in the pond. The first thing Rem saw was a girl with black hair that reached her upper shoulders and crimson red eyes.

'I look like a 13-year-old... I'm probably around 5,2. I'm kind of flat but that's okay, I'm pretty sure I'm still growing... I don't really care, as long as it doesn't get in the way. Either way, I look a million times better than my past self. Oh well, I'm not going to complain...'

Rem opened her mouth and she was able to speak. She decided to not speak her language she spoke in her past life since the people in this world probably spoke another language. Plus, Rem was by herself without anyone to speak to.

'With this, I will be able to go into many places and interact with other people! For now, I should probably buy some clothes. The only thing I'm wearing is a worn-out looking t-shirt and shorts. I'm not even wearing any shoes or underwear! Urg, the system is horrible! It's not even helping me!!! It just wants me to buy stuff from the shop..! Humph! I think I'll have enough money if I sell these...'

Rem sold all the items she obtained except for the mana stones.

'Mana Stones are probably worth a lot more if I sold it to someone. Plus, they are quite useful for crafting and ranking up. I'll keep these for now.'

After selling all the items except for the mana stone, Rem managed to obtain around 10,000 Uken. She went to the catalog section and bought some plain undergarments, a regular plain t-shirt, a hoodie with pockets, sweat pants, and a pair of sneakers. Rem preferred the black clothing because it doesn't make her stand out much. She was fine with white and blue clothing too. Rem was a tomboy so she never wore dresses or skirts. Rem never liked girly things so all the clothes she bought were all black and white-colored. Satisfied with her look, Rem decided to be in this form for a little longer and she began her search to find some new prey she could fight with.

Not long after searching for her new prey, Rem witnessed an enormous bear with many other normal-sized bears. Hiding behind the trees and using her stealth so she wouldn't be noticed by the bears, Rem checked the largest bear's status.

The bear leader was about five times larger than Rem. Although Rem was not scared of its size, she did not want to die since the bear leader looked quite strong.

Fleeing from the Raku Bear Leader, Rem didn't even bother checking the other bear's status.

'I'll pretend I didn't see that... Maybe I could defeat a normal Raku Bear. For now, I should probably rest for the night.'

Rem shifted back to her beast form and rushed to her sleeping place. Rem yawned tiredly and fell asleep in the bushes almost instantly after laying down.
