1 Chapter 1

As my father and I drove to school in his black SUV, I look out at the forestry as it zoomed by.

I was my first day at Arlington all boys Academy.

Yep you heard me right all boys Academy.

My father was appointed as principal a year ago and since puberty was hitting me hard he didn't want me going to a school where he could keep an eye on me at all times.

Worst idea ever!

My bags and boxes were already transported to the school last week and were ready and waiting to be unpacked.

As we neared the campus the over seized school building came into sight. It used to be old and all bricks but my father had it renovated to look more modern since it was 2018.

Thank God.

Imagine living in a brick building. Ew.

The school was now painted in an nude born color with brand new glass windows on every building.

And a fountain with two sculpted women wrapped in cloth and holding vases with water pouring out of them sat in the center of the round about.

The driver stopped there dropping my father and I off and we walk briskly to the auditorium.

As we enter I see all eyes on me, except for the teachers, since they already knew of my arrival.

The boys started whispering amongst themselves, and I just roll my eyes and my father walk to the podium and i stand at the stairs.

Miss Falcon smiles at me, she is one of the few female teachers here, my father told me she is new and fresh out of college so I should try to be nice to her.

"Good morning gentlemen, setting down." My father's deep voice booms through the auditorium and it get instantly quiet.

"I know most of you are curious about a lot of them so the first thing is to clear the air." He starts looking at me and Miss Falcon before continuing.

"This is Miss Falcon, she is one new Maths teacher. Each and every one of you will respect her and behave like the bright students you are at all time, anything less is unacceptable." He says sternly looking over this student body.

"Secondly, this is my daughter and from this day forth she will be attending this academy." Mu dad gestures to me and the students erupts with surprisenand instant whispering begins, "Be quiet," my dad commands.

"You will all treat her like the lady she is and act with the highest level of decorum in her presence at all time. Anyone who treats her indecently will be punished accordingly."

I hang my head in embarrassment, for the blatant special treatment he his showing.

I block out everything said after that, too embarrassed to hear anything else.

Next to speak is the vice president's, he speaks about choosing the prefects and how it will work for the first year's.

The rules state at least two prefects need to be in each class, and that the two selected will become class president and vice president.

I hope these idiot don't select me.

Soon it is my fathers turn to speak.

"I know most of you have just arrived, those who have transferred and those who are new comers. The second and third year prefects will show to your dorms and the tour will begin at 2pm sharp. Classes will begin at 8am sharp don't be late." She warns them dismeses the assembly.

I sigh deciding to follow the crowd of new comers when I hear someone calling my name .

"Miss Goldberg! Miss Goldberg one moment please." I turn to see tall boy with curly bronze and green eyes coming towards me.

Why is poster boy talking to me? I ask my self conscious but also comes up with a blank.

"Yes." I ask pressing my lips into a tight line.

"Hi, I'm Jarred Falcon, Miss Falcon's nephew." He introduces himself but I'm still lost.

"And I'm queen Elizabeth." I say dryly and his smile turns into a confused expression.

I give him a duh look, and realization finally hit him.

"Ohhh, right. Your father asked me to personally show you around since I've been here for a week already."

Wow dad, again with the special treatment.

"Thanks but no thanks, I'd like to take a tour with the rest of the students. I don't need a personal tour guide." I say dryly then walking away leaving him shocked.

I walk quickly to catch up the crowd and boys following a perfect.

I see my father watching us intently while speaking with Miss. Falcon. I try reading him lips but he knows me too will so he turns way.

Dick!

The walk from the main campus is about 5 minutes depending on how fast the walk.

The buildings built in a almost semicircular position, it looked kinda weird since there were four of them.

The group of boys head to the left building with 1 on it, while a large crowd heads to the one labeled 2 and 3. And a handful of students heading to a building labeled 4, there a fifth building labeled staff which is a bit smaller than the dorms.

The space in front of each building is paved an paved separately allowing a beautiful lawn to thrive in between them. I curiously walk towards the first building wanting to see what's being it, but I am stopped by someone calling my name.

"Miss Goldberg, your going the wrong way."

I turn the see mr tour guide, I forgot his name already? I'm such a bitch.

"Isn't this the first year's dorm?" I ask raising an eyebrow at him.

"Yes but you'll be staying in this building."
