1 Rebirth

'1,000 years? how is that even possible, it felt like a normal night's sleep... well, I guess that explains that voice I have been hearing. was that my mother?' the Fetus thought calmly, how can a fetus be like this you may ask?

well, this wasn't a normal fetus. the soul in the body of this fetus was the reincarnation of someone. at first, he found himself in this void and thought he could finally rest. but this system popped up, forcing itself upon him even though he rejected it. but the system managed to convince him to accept it.

{Yes host,} the system said while I listened closely, hearing a voice outside.

"If I don't make it, please, take care of him... or else I will hunt you." A weak voice entered my ears, this was the same voice I always hear in my dreams. my mother.

"I will... I promise." a male voice said, this was most likely my father, I had also heard his voice many times. I could remember a time he said something about killing me seeing as she was growing weaker from carrying me, this led to my mother growing enraged where he had to apologize for days.

My mother had struggled to have children for hundreds of years, so she was happy when she was pregnant, meanwhile, my father was left uneasy with this whole thing. From what I have heard, my father was the clan leader of the Ling clan, a man who could have married anyone he wanted, but he had always had eyes for my mother, going as far as almost being beaten to death by his father who was against him rejecting a marriage from a powerful clan.

My father had always had eyes for my mother, meanwhile, my mother had grown up with the dream of reaching the peak of cultivation. at first, she never planned to marry. she had cast away all worldly desires for her dream, that was until my father managed to win her heart.

So, my father was unwilling to have me. but my mother was headstrong about having me, going as far as to accept she might die giving birth. Out of love for her, my father could only accept this. I didn't know what to think about this, after living through my last life I didn't know if I should be displeased or not. 

While I was lost in thoughts, I suddenly felt like the world was pushing against me. at the same time, I heard my mother's pained cries. something which shocked everyone in the labor room, as normally cultivators on her stage of cultivation wouldn't feel much giving birth, yet it was like she was a mortal giving birth.

After a moment of shock, the doctors quickly had the husband out of the room as they began to have her push. normally, she was weak and unable to walk, yet she exploded with all of her strength, causing cracks to fill the whole room as she pushed with all her strength.

She couldn't even hear anyone, this was the worst pain she had ever felt in her life, so much pain she didn't even know what to do. when her husband forcefully rushed into the room, she didn't think twice and took his arm, shattering all of the bones in it. the sharp pain made his face twitch slightly, but he was more swallowed by shock. how was his wife so strong? but if she needed something to hold on to, then she could take it, he couldn't resist.

After a few hours of boundless pain, she was finally able to stop pushing as the baby was delivered. no longer pushing or screaming, she just laid weakly in bed with tears in her eyes, while her body shook from the pain.

"It bo..." Before the old woman who held the child could speak, holy light passed through the ceiling, landing the child in her arms. the ceiling disappeared, revealing the sky which was covered with golden clouds. there the light came from, landing on the child, and slowly spread out to cover the whole room.

the mother who seemed as if she might die at any moment felt life returning to her body, the effect of the pain disappearing almost instantly. for 1,000 years, her cultivation had made zero movement, yet at this moment it made than a movement. it began skyrocketing as if making up for years' worth of cultivation and more,

Anything and everything this light touched benefited, seeing this these old monsters quickly sat down, and went on to absorb more of the light.

But the clouds kept growing, not simply covering the whole city, but kept spreading until they had covered countless cities. everyone facing these lights quickly sat down to absorb all of the benefits from it.

"Hurry up, my daughter could have already given birth." an old woman said with a displeased look seeing her husband taking his time.

"the child took 1,000 years, i will not be shocked if it took 10 years to be born." an old man said with a shrug, making the old woman roll her eyes slightly. but at that moment, golden light hit them, they were stunned for a moment before flying outside. they were not alone as countless others flew out, bathing within the light.

"this... could it be a birth Phenomenon?" the old woman asked in a shaky voice while looking towards where the golden clouds came from. she looked at her arms, as she went form an old woman with a hunch back, to a beautiful woman whose hair was slowly turning gray.

"thats impossible, we are thousands of miles away." the old man said shocked by his wife and his own transformation. he looked around and saw others going through a similar transformation, but they had benefited the most. 

"lets first refine this and head over to check." the old man said to which the old woman nodded before they sat in the air.

everyone who shared the same blood as the new born, and held goodwill towards the child, all found themselves improving under the ray of light. even those who had nothing to do with the newborn benefit, but their benefits were nothing compared to those truly close to this child.

the child floated into the sky under everyone's stunned eyes, its body being cleaned by the rays of light, and covered by robes which the heavens personally created. to think the heavens would go so far for a child, the scene left everyone in shock. it was as if the heavens were welcoming home its most beloved child,

They watched as the child slowly floated over to its mother, before slowly landing into her arms which were held out to take the child. after, the rays of light slowly died out. from just being born, the child had caused a phenomenon of golden clouds gathering for thousands of miles.

Phenomenon of extreme genius being born happening wasn't so shocking, but this was the first that one went on to help others have huge benefits. going as far as healing, and helping people break through, how was this not shocking?

"... my son is so amazing." smiling slightly, the newborn's mother smiled warmly at her child. with just a look, she knew the robes covering her child were treasures, but it was just right. An amazing son like hers could only have the best of the best...

"why is he not breathing?" She asked in worry seeing how her child wasn't breathing, at her words, everyone snappled out of their shock. the old woman... well, she was now young. She was called Lady XhI, she was the number-one doctor in Red Star City. She quickly rushed over to Fan Ye, the newborn mother.

She took the child and quickly checked the baby before hesitating for a split moment and slapping the child. she was slightly scared that the heavens might just slap her dead for daring to hurt this child, but she needed to have the child breathe.

Well, he wasn't that old as his hair was graying.

"... to think your child caused such a powerful birth Phenomenon." the old man said while slowly stepping down, looking at the newborn in Fan Ye's hands. slowly, more old men and women appeared, all of them being the old monsters of the Ling Clan. they had all grew younger, in the past they wouldn't step outside as they were trying their best to breakthrough and expand their lifespan... but that light had done both for them. it increased their lifespan, and helped them take a step forward in cultivation 

"Father-in-law, ancestors." Fan Ye paid her respect with a joyful smile, everyone nodded slightly before looking towards her husband who had yet to react to their arrival. seeing this, and not wanting to be beaten by his father, he went on to speak, telling them about everything that just happened.

everyone looked at the child, of course, they were stunned to hear that those golden clouds came from the birth of this child. they were of course stunned seeing the countless strings of Qi the child was breathing in, and they could feel how a unique Qi hung around the child, holding extreme benefits for ones cultivation.

"his name... Ling Han." She said with a smile, but at her words, the child suddenly stopped crying, causing the raim above to quickly disappear. at this, everyone blinked slightly.
