37 Dao Ancestor 3
"Okay, explain everything that happened." Looking at Ling Han who was within a tank of liquid that helped Ling Han heal, Ling Fang looked towards Ling Hongwa. at the side, all the high-ranking members of the Ling clan stood, looking on in worry and unease.
The Immortals were also uneasy, at the time of the battle, most of them were there. but Ling Han did something that made them unable to move in to fight with him. The same was true for even the monkey King.
"... It's my fault. I should have told Ling Han about the history of the Pangu world. if he knew, then you wouldn't have let the Immortal emperor go so easily." Ling Hongwa said softly, She was asleep, so how could she have known that Ling Clan was going against the court? On top of that, she thought Ling Han knew everything... but that seemed to be wrong as Ling Han didn't see truly everything.
"Back then, Pangu wanted to reach that realm. to reach it, he went on a bloodbath using me, slaughtering countless Primordials to form the Boundless Primordial Chaos Physique. the number one physique within the chaos. he wasn't going to use me for long, so he was not worried about dying from using me for too long." Ling Hongwa said softly while everyone paid close attention to this.
"In the end, he almost succeeds, but in doing so he would have been equal to chaos. one should know, that the chaos is large, and from time to time would birth primordials, who would create their world. these worlds are even bigger than this world you all live in. The Pangu world is considered the smallest world out there. there are a beyond-infinite number of worlds out there. that sounds hard to comprehend, but there are levels to infinite." Ling Hongwa said stunning everyone, as they couldn't believe that this huge world was so small.
"this dimension we are in is infinite, this is the first level of infinity. beyond that, is the universe, which holds an infinite number of dimensions. this is the second level of infinity. above this is the third level of infinite, the whole lower realm which has an infinite number of universes. This is the third level of infinity." Ling Hongwa explained
"Above this is the immortal realm, which could be split into fourth and 5th levels of infinity. the highest heaven is the 5th level of infinity, the rest are the 4th. then we turn back and to chaos... the chaos transcends all levels of infinity. when Pangu died, he became this world as a way to survive death. his will became the heavens, while everything else became the sky, mountains, and so on." Ling Hongwa said before looking towards Ling Han...
Ling Hongwa went deep into her explanation, telling everyone the history of this world, and the Dao ancestor. back then, the Dao ancestor was the first person to try and swallow the will of heaven. but in doing so, he saw the trap that was laid out. The heavens held Pangu's slumbering will, awaiting someone to come and try and devour it, and in return, Pangu would be reborn.
But it went deeper than that, the heavens were created with a pseudo will. this will allow the heavens to have the power to show some emotions, this lead the heavens to always hunger for freedom and to have a complete will. The heaven will be destroyed or else Pangu will would be awakened, giving him the chance to just come back to life anyway.
So, he had 2 options, the first was to seal away the heavens. but when he tried to do such a thing, the world shook, causing Pangu's will to almost awaken so he stopped. the second was to watch over the will and ensure no one can ever fall for this trap, while at the same time making sure the heavens never birth a will.
This world hosted Pangu's second doorway to coming back to life, but at the same time, it was his current prison. Even the chaos asked the Dao ancestors to look after this prison, so the courts were born.
The courts had 4 mean jobs.
1. the protect the will of the heavens. this is to prevent anyone from trying to devour it, leading to Pangu's rebirth.
2. to stop the heavens from gaining free will. this was important as the heavens couldn't gain free will, this might also lead to Pangu's rebirth.
3. To protect the Pangu world from outside powers, although the Pangu world is surrounded by a powerful barrier that even those above the Immortal Emperor realm can't forcefully get through. The only people who would have an easier time getting through it would be those born in the Pangu world. but even then, they had to be careful to not be destroyed by Pangu powers which remained in this world, awaiting someone to dare enter.
4. Make sure that the Pangu world doesn't grow. while other worlds can't grow, the Pangu world can grow, but if the Pangu world grew large enough, it could allow the Pangu will to awaken.
currently, there is a balance within the Pangu world. only the extreme geniuses of the level of the Dao ancestors had the hope to break through above the Immortal emperor.
These reasons would have caused Ling Fang and the others to slow down their conquest of the lower realm. but LIng Hongwa was a sleeper and wasn't thinking of this stuff. In the end, who was to blame here? Ling Han hunger forced them to conquer the lower realm to be able to collect food from all over the universe,
They couldn't just go to the Immortal realm, only Ling Han had the power to go there and come back. they only got this capability later on down the road after the lower realm was conquered,
"Although Ling Han is special, even he might need a few hundred years to awaken." LIng Hongwa said while looking at Ling Han with a gentle smile. her words caused everyone's hearts to drop,
"I will speed it up. but before I should, I will tell you about the realm above the Immortal Emperor realm. It's called the God realm, split into 4 parts. Deity Transformation or God transformation, at this realm one starts the fusion with body and Dao.
The next is Lesser God, where they fuse with their Dao, although not perfect. Next is a Greater God where they perfectly fuse with their Dao, and lastly A true God, where they embody the Dao. making them truly undying so long as their Dao exists. at the same time, as people cultivate their Dao, it would act as a link that would ensure their Dao live on, and if they live their Dao live. so one has to kill them, their Dao, and everyone cultivating it at the same time, or else it's pointless." Ling Hongwa said calmly
"The Dao ancestor managed to break through mid-battle, gaining True God level of power, with the combat strength to fight even those of the next realm... Deity's Transformation on the level of infinity scale is the 4th level. Lesser God is the 5th level, Greater God is the 6th, and True God is... the 8th level of infinity." She said while looking at Ling Han with bright eyes, Ling Han's growth capability had shocked her greatly. This was a true genius with boundless levels of talent.
When he recovers, he will be far stronger than when he was fighting. such quick growth speed, it was beautiful. She was grateful that her first battle with Ling Han was so amazing and fun, a battle that went against the impossible and still came out on top. of course, Ling Han needed her to win... but that wasn't important.
"I will speed up his recovery speed... I have a feeling his capability would be needed for the things to come. after all, the world now knows I'm unseal, so the danger the Ling clan will face would be great." Ling Hongwa said softly, making everyone's heart grow heavy.
Ling Hongwa said nothing and went on to stab her hand forward, piecing through the Tank, and stopping an inch from Ling Han. She closed her eyes, knowing what she was about to do will most likely cripple her... but this was her master. As a tool spirit when she bonded to Ling Han, she fully accepted all good and bad things that could come with it. So, her master needed her help. She would of course help him.
"It was beautiful while it lasted." She said with a smile, it was a short amount of time to her. Just a little over a year, if she knew this would have happened, she wouldn't have stayed in the treasury and would have stayed out... but it's too late now.
Her hair slowly began to turn white, and her form slowly reshaped, turning into a sword... a normal sword with nothing special about it. a sword without a spirit.
within Ling Han's body, Ling Hongwa's unique energy spread all over his body, helping his Supreme Recovery which wasn't working as well as before to start picking up. Slowly, the damage all over Ling Han's body, and even to his concept began to heal, allowing Ling Han to open his eyes just 1 day later.
Ling Han looked around and saw everyone just standing around the tank he was in, a worried look in their eyes. Ling Han was confused as to who these strangers were, but after a moment his memory recovered. remembering everyone, he let out a sigh seeing as they were all right.
He wanted to move, but his body felt too heavy. the only thing he could do was move his eyes around. and even then, he realized these eyes were normal eyes, he had lost all of his abilities... well, almost all of them.
"He is alright, his body just needs to recover some of its strength. take him out." Lady Zhi said softly after closely looking at Ling Han. At her words, Ling Han was quickly removed from the tank. Ling Han almost fell to the ground, but he was caught.
"Poor kid, he doesn't even have the power to speak." Lady Zhi said seeing how Ling Han could only breathe while looking around. of course, Ling han breath wasn't normal even now. after all, he needed all types of energy to survive. So, his breath was still useful for everyone's cultivation. adding how powerful Ling Han had gotten, although each breath was only strong enough to keep Ling Han alive, it was still countless times more powerful than the breath from a few days ago before the battle... than again, he didn't need to breathe to live.
"How long until he can regain his strength?" Ling Fang asked while holding Ling Han, holding back some tears.
"... a few dozen years if it's on his own. His body is in a weakened state and has to catch up to his strength. but he has such a fast recovery speed that it's only a few dozen years... no, he is still growing, as he grows older the faster he can recover. adding if we help him... I say 2 to 3 years." Lady Zhi said making Ling Fang nod his head slightly with his eyes burning. As a father, he had failed his son.
as a father, he should have made this world a worthy place for his son. It's the parent's job to make it worth living for their children. no one asks to be born, so who has the right to tell their children to be grateful for birthing them? Did anyone ask to be born to have a shitty life?
Ling Fang fully believes it's his job to take care of Ling Han, it's 100% his job to ensure Ling Han doesn't need to lift a finger, at least until he is 15 years old. but he failed.
"I will do better... I promise." Ling Fang said softly, determination burning in his eyes. He turned and brought Ling Han to his wife, who had awakened not too long ago. but she sat in bed with this lost and lifeless look.
for 1,000 years she carried Ling Han, for 1,000 years she sat fearing the unknown yet going through it all with hope... that day Ling Han was born, it was hell. She never felt such pain, she wanted to give up part way. but she didn't carry the child for 1,000 years just to give up. So, she endured the pain and gave birth.
But after, she almost died... no, She was going to die. this was something she was sure of, if not for the heavens. she would have died, but the heavens saved her life and changed her physique to be able to help Ling Han grow.
Ling Han was her everything. the second she felt danger, she rushed to her son's side without a second thought. she didn't fear death, in her eyes her son's life was worth more than everything out there. if needed, she would slaughter every life across existence just to bring her son back.
yes, she ground her son a lot. but she was a mother, she feared for her son, and she feared him getting hurt. the very thought caused her soul to feel like her soul was being ripped apart. Better than anyone else, she understood that they died at the hands of the Dao ancestor, she understood Ling Han brought them back to life.
But the scene she saw the moment she was brought back to life, and the pain Ling Han was going through... it hurt. She had a unique bond with Ling Han, normally it wouldn't go as far as allowing her to feel his pain or something. but the pain Ling Han felt at that time was too much, so much so that she felt it.
That pain is not why she fainted, the fact her son was in so much pain hurt her far more than anything else. That pain was so much, that she rather shut down than face it. even when she woke up, all she could do was lay there or sit there. She was awake, but her mind was elsewhere.
But the moment Ling Han was placed back into her arms, her empty eyes regained life as tears overflooded from them. She looked down, looking at her son who was looking at her... he wasn't hurting. He was alright, although weakened, he was alright.
She hugged him tightly, and just began to cry. at the side, Ling Fang just watched... this was his family, the family he had to protect... and he planned to do just that. He was weak, so he had to change that.
Ling Han had put the Dao ancestor into the Tower of Heaven, and the guy was alive. Of course, that meant nothing as even the Dao ancestor was helpless within the Tower of Heaven. a treasure that was heaven-defying, and stood at the same rank as Ling Hongwa.
He would forcefully read his soul, get all the information he wanted from the Dao ancestor, and hopefully, he would get some good and powerful cultivation arts to spread to the Ling Clan.
Suddenly a portal opened, Ling Han remembered that he had left Yuan Ming and the others back in the dragon ball world. they have been in there for a little over 24 hours. Ling Fang at first was worried about me opening the portal, but seeing as it cost nothing to me, he relaxed slightly.
He watched as Yuan Ming and the others came out of the portal, Yuan Ming came out with a pout. She was displeased as Ling Han tricked her into coming here on his own, but she froze when she appeared in Fan Ye's room, where she was in tears and was hugging Ling Han... who was so weak at the moment.
"Follow me... we need to speak." Ling Fang said while looking at Yuan Ming, and Ling Han's other followers. the group was confused, but they realized something had happened. they followed Ling Fang who went on to tell them everything that happened and Ling Han's current condition,
Yuan Ming took the blow the hardest, there was more than one reason Ling Han stayed in her arms every time they were together. Part of the reason is to of course protect LIng Han, and the other is because Ling Han was just too adorable.
She apologized greatly, promising next time Ling Han wouldn't even leave her arms even if the world was falling apart. Ling Han's remaining followers used this as motivation to grow stronger, the fact they were so useless hurt... so they went to train harder than ever.
So... time passed. The power of the Ling Clan exploded. with Ling Fang forcefully going through the Dao ancestor memory and using the knowledge he gained, he was able to greatly improve the Ling clan. The Ling Clan now knew, knowledge of someone who had traveled the chaos for countless years, to say the least, this knowledge let them explode greatly.
From ways to train to better ways to cultivate, the Ling Clan had it all. they all moved to the immortal realm, they took root in the former Buddha Court. The Ling Clan had 70% of the immortal realm under their control, and with that came the resources... but none of them rivaled the resources Ling Han treasury had.
Ling Han had treasure above the Primal grade. after Comic Grade treasures was Empyrean which equaled True Immortal. Above this were celestial treasures that equal the Immortal Emperor, Above this was the Pirmal grade, which equaled the God realm..
Ling Han treasures were of the World tier, equal to the World God. the realm above the God realm. to say the least, Ling Han's treasures were powerful. yes, Ling Han was in a weakened state, but his Qi was still being used to strengthen his Treasury, although it was slower than when he was at his peak.
With World treasures, there came treasures such as Time-based items which could speed time up trillions upon trillions of times over. Spirit stones that so much energy, that even one of the spirit stones would help the whole immortal realm cultivate for countless years over, without the spirit stones dropping in the slightest.
above everything were the wisdom-related items, these items put one in a state of enlightenment. For people as weak as them, it was true enlightenment, not some fake enlightenment. it allowed them to learn and comprehend countless things, from the Dao, and even reached transcendent martial arts in a short amount of time.
The improvement for the Ling clan was huge, they entered the Dragon Ball world and easily comprehended the rules of that world. This greatly boosted their cultivation speed to be quicker and smoother, allowing them to break through realms without the need to worry about the laws.
In just a day after entering the immortal realm, every member of the Ling Clan stepped into Half Step Loose Immortal. Their combat strength? thanks to the many improvements they went through, their combat strength also reached new heights.
At half-step Loose Immortal, they had the combat strength of a half-step God realm expert, with the core members being stronger. the next day. those weaker and less talented members of the Ling Clan use the Law of the Dragon Ball world and the Pangu world. these members even with Ling Han's breath didn't get super talent, this is because Ling Han didn't target them fully with his breath. even so, when they formed their Dao Seed, the Pangu world shook at this never-before-seen Dao being born, and their strength stepped into the God realm.
All of this happened in just 2 days after Ling Han awakened, but for the following few months, the improvement for the Ling Clan was far greater as Ling Han recovered quickly thanks to his treasury. and as He recovered, the stronger his treasures got, so the faster he recovered... Ling Han found out his treasury was helping him recover. So he didn't even need a year, just a few months.
