5 Our First Date

When we got to my apartment, which I realized I haven't been in very much, I dressed in jeans and a cute top. Even though he said to go casual I still wanted to look my best. When I finished I texted Joey telling him I was ready and, he said he would be there in 5.

Five minutes later he pulls up. I walk out to his car and get in.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"It's a surprise!" He happily says.

"I hate surprises." I say laughing.

We drive around until we come to a park. We get out of the car and walk over to where there is a picnic blanket with a basket full of food and candles.

"Is that for us?" I asked in awe.

"Yes it is!" He said smiling at me.

We ate the food and then went for a walk around the park. We found the swings and got on them for fun. I had so much fun with him; I felt like I have known him all my life. Right before we got back in the car, Joey stopped me.

"Y/n?" Joey said nervously.

"Yeah?" I said back just as nervous.

"I had a really fun time with you tonight. I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend?" He said with a nervous smile.

I was star struck that Joey asked me to be his girlfriend. I stared at him until I realized I need to answer.

"Um. Yes!!" I said smiling.

He leaned in for a kiss and, I kissed him back passionately. We pulled back and got into the car.

"Do you want to stay at Matt and Amanda's house or yours?" He asked.

"I guess I'll just go back to my house since I have my clothes there." I said.

"Ok we will head there then!" He smiled looking down at me.

"Alright!" I said smiling at him.

We head to my apartment in silence. It wasn't awkward, but I wish we could've spoken more. Oh well! I'll probably see him later.

"Bye, y/n!" He said after walking me up to the door.

"Bye!"

He pulls me into a hug and then gets in his car to drive away.
