66 The Letter (scenes)

There were times Austin wondered if it was real. The girl he has been in love for years was now his wife. He gets to see her beautiful face as he open his eyes early in the morning and then giggles and laughter fills their room. Austin bought a new house in the vicinity of a beach. At times, they sit in their garden and look at the stars. He never understood why Jessica loved looking at the stars. It was during December, Justin's parents hosted a party. He searched for her in the hall but there was no sight of her. Just before he thought she didn't come to the party, he saw her stand in the balcony. He had a sudden urge to talk to her somehow and he did. He his fell on tla tray where one waiter was serving juice to the guests. He picked two glasses and went to the balcony to see her stand alone. Somehow, He had a short conversation with her.

"Beautiful," he commented when he saw Jessica tucking her hair gently, from the corner of his eyes.

"Indeed," she answered. She thought he was talking about the stars but the truth was, the word that came out from him was about her. A smile took over his face to see the girl was oblivious to his feelings but what he didn't know was he too was as oblivious as her.

The day when Jessica presented him a dream catcher, he was happy. He wanted to talk to her more and know if she too felt the same. He wanted to see how would she react if he said she was his best friend. He spoke to Justin but his attention was on her. He expected at least a small reaction from her but there was none. She was quite and spoke nothing. While Austin, Justin and Jessica were talking, Rachel received a letter.

"Are you Jessica?" the boy asked after giving her the letter. Justin who saw her receiving the letter, rushed towards Rachel to get the letter from her.

It didn't take him much time to read the letter.

"Who gave you the letter?" Justin was furious.

It was a love letter.

Being her protective brother, he didn't like that someone dared giving his sister a love letter. Justin didn't want Jessica to read it and hence he slid the letter into his pocket before Jessica could read and followed the guy named Jake.

Jake, who told the kid to give the letter to Jessica, thought she was alone and didn't know that her cousin was also with her. Looking at the furious Justin, the guy named Jake started to run but Justin caught him and pushed him to the wall.

"How dare you write a letter to my sister!" asked Justin coldly.

"Get off me, you bastard," Jake tried to release himself from Justin's grip. It only made Justin to push him to wall a bit harshly and that is when Jake punched Justin. Austin rushed to them and tried to stop them. He was school's president and he used his authority to stop their fight before someone else caught them. They both stepped back but that didn't mean they clamed down. The two guys were glaring at each other, ready to fight. Justin who was stopped from kicking Jake, was furious and took the letter from his pocket to show his friend before he left the place. Austin had no idea about the letter, he opened it to read to see what was it about. Until then, he didn't know the reason.

Dear Jessica,

I have been in love with you since two months. I started to dream a lot about you. I love you so much and I want to shower my love upon you with kisses. You have no idea how crazy I am about you. Your smile, your eyes, everything about you makes me go crazy and I can't help myself from seeing you and thinking about you. I know that you don't know much about me but I want you to give me a chance. I will wait for your reply.

PS : I love you forever.

Austin's free hand tightened into fist as he crushed the paper in his hand and before Jake could leave, he caught Jake's wrist with another hand and punched on Jake's face with his tightened fist. Jake shrieked in pain and could hardly stand on his feet because the sudden blow on his face. Leaving the guy, Austin came into the class when Rachel was aiding Justin. He ignored Justin's comments and Jessica's gaze at him. He took the cotton and a medicine before going to Jake who was washing his face by the time Austin returned.

"You should be glad that I didn't break your hand," Austin spoke. "I don't want you around Jessica. If I find you around her again, I won't regret breaking your bones," he warned Jake in a deadly tone. Jake was taken aback to see that Austin was more furious than Justin.

There was no doubt that Austin was furious. At the same time, he realised how protective he was about Jessica that he couldn't bare the thought of someone thinking about her. The Letter, how dare that bastard even think about his girl....

"What are you doing?" asked Jessica.

"I was going through something," Austin drawled.

"You're reading it again." Jessica pointed to see her diary in Austin's hand.

"I can't stop myself from smiling whenever I read this," Austin gave a small chuckle.

"Whatever, give my diary back," Jessica stretched her hand. Austin saw her face turn red. Even now, she blush as if they were newly married. He knew she was embarrassed that he was reading her diary. When the first time he read the diary, he was surprised and happy that she too loved him as much as he did.

Instead of giving her diary, Austin pulled her towards him, making her sit on his lap. "It's not the first time I read this diary. Why are you blushing?" he asked her putting his arms around her waist.

"Because.... It is so embarrassing!" she exclaimed.

"How can it be embarrassing when you wrote about your feelings for me. Everyday you used to go to the water purifier only to see me. How can that be embarrassing," he teased her. "And the password of your diary is my birthday. There's no way it is embarrassing, Jessica."

"Enough. I was a teenager when I wrote this diary and you better stop teasing me or else...."

"Orelse what? Mrs. Ames.." he tightened his grip on her and asked her in a deep voice. He looked into her eyes and took a lock of of her hair and rolled it with his finger. "Answer me..." he whispered.

"Orelse you won't get a kiss from me and you will have to sleep on the couch...."

"Hmm... Couch. Since you reminded me about couch, I cannot help myself from recollecting our night at Oasis, the day you and me_"

"Enough, Austin. You're being too much now...."

Austin locked his lips with her soft lips before she could say something to him. He kissed her gently before deepening the kiss. But instantly he released her when they heard something from outside of his room and the next moment, their door was wide opened. Austin smiled as he watched his two precious pearls in his life running towards him. It has been five years since he married Jessica, his wife and mother of his two kids. Avery Ames and Lucas Ames. Avery is now five years old and Lucas will be turning four this year. Their smile and giggles makes his day not matter how tired he comes home, they welcome him with a bright smile which makes him forget his tiredness. Jessica has been very understanding. Nothing has changed between the couple. Their love for each other only increased as the time passed. She never complained when he keeps his family aside during work because she knew that was how Austin Ames has always been since the beginning. He complets his work as soon as possible to spend time with his family. They were his world now. A world, he treasured the most.

**I read all your comments and decided to write this chapter today in the morning. Somehow, I completed writing it. I am very much attached to the story because it was my first story and will always have a special place in my heart. I'm really happy that you guys liked it and also hope you guys liked this special chapter I wrote. Coming to my second story, I know how to it feels when a story is left uncompleted. People scold the authors actually but you guys were sweet to which I am thankful. I thought it wasn't good but I'm surprised to see that there are readers who likes it. I will surely write that story but I need time because I'm kinda scared that the story would disappoint you guys. That's the reason I am hesitating to write. But if you guys assure me to support me.
