"Jake ?!" Jessica called his name in surprise and he looked at her.

Jessica never thought that she would meet him again especially in this way. She thought that her father chose a guy whom she never met in her life.

The last time she saw him was on that day, the day when he was punched by Austin after that Jake never appeared in front of her.

Jake got up from his seat to greet Jessica and gave her a flower which she took it from him since she had no other choice.

"I'm happy that you still remember my name," he said to Jessica.

Jessica gave him a half smile hesitatingly instead of replying him in words. She would've surely forgotten his name if she didn't write his name in her diary. She know nothing about him other than his name.

Jessica took her seat and looked around, the restaurant was empty and noticed that only they both were seated in the restaurant.

"Firstly, I want to apologize for the thing that happened when we were in school, But I got angry when Austin punched me just because I wanted to give you the letter," he said which grabbed Jessica's attention.

Jessica still doesn't know what was written in that letter. She was listening to him attentively and waiting for him to tell what was written in that letter but he was interrupted by the waiter.

" What would you like to order sir?" the waiter asked.

"What would you like to have ?" Jake asked Jessica after he gave her the menu.

Jessica turned the pages and chose randomly.

"Béchamel pasta," she said to the waiter and passed the menu to Jake for him to choose his food.

He took it from her and gave it back to the waiter and said," two Béchamel pasta."

For some reason she felt awkward. When he ordered the same dish.

Jessica started eating after the dish was severed.

"You became more beautiful than you were before, Jake gave her a compliment.

His compliment made Jessica choke.

" Thankyou,"she said after drinking water.

" I never thought I would get a chance to confess you, I loved you in twelfth class at that time and I feel happy that I finally got a chance to tell you now,"Jake said.

Jessica had a mini heart attack after listening to his words.

" To be honest I liked you when we were in school, after that I was busy with my studies and then life just went on and then I did like a person after that but look at our fate here we are sitting and having food together after many years."

For some reason Jessica felt weird listening to his words and she wasn't comfortable with him.

She gave a nod and looked at her plate because she was out of words. She didn't know how was she supposed to react to his sudden confession.

"Thankyou for coming and meeting me," he continued to talk, Jessica felt that it would be better if she told him her reason to meet him today without any delay.

"I hope you understand what I'm trying to say, I'm not ready to get married," Jessica finally said.

His smile slowly faded.

"Was this the reason why you came to meet me ?" he asked her.

"Yes," Jessica said.

There was moment of silence between them.

"Can I know the reason ?" he asked her politely but his eyes told her something else.

"The thing is I like a person," Jessica said.

"Does he like you too ?" he questioned her.

"No," Jessica replied.

"Does he know that you like him ?"

"No ," Jessica shook her head.

"Can't you try dating me ?" he asked her.

"I already told you that I like a person ..."

"You would expect the person you like to give you a chance to prove your love, wouldn't you ?" he asked her which made Jessica more uncomfortable.

"What are you trying to say, tell it clearly," Jessica said.

"Just like you want the person you like to give a chance to prove your love , I want you to give me a chance to prove my love," he said.

"I don't want to," Jessica said curtly.

"You don't have to do anything , just let me allow to try from my side," he said.

"No matter what you do , I might not be able to accept you and I don't want to hurt you," Jessica replied.

"Let's see, what happens," Jake said. There was a confidence in his eyes which Jessica didn't like.

Jessica understood that he won't listen to her words and hence she had to agree with him.

"Do what you want," she said and got up from her seat to leave.

"Let me drop you to your house ," he said.

"No. I brought my car, thankyou ," Jessica replied and payed for the food they had.

"You don't have to pay," he tried to stop her.

"No. I want to pay," she said and payed.

Jessica knew that she was being rude to him even though he was being polite but then she couldn't stay silent and agree with him. She felt that if she stayed here for a second she might loose her temper and didn't want that to happen.

"I seriously don't understand his intentions, when I told him that I like another guy why can't he step back. What am I supposed to do now," Jessica thought.

"I'll see you next Tuesday," he said when she was leaving.

Jessica turned back and gave a faint smile but he had a bright smile on his face.

Jessica had a severe headache by the time she reached home.

She received a message, it was from an unknown number .

* Let's meet on Tuesday*

Jessica ignored the message, and went to sleep.

The very next day while she was having her breakfast.

"So, do you like him ?" her father asked her.

"No," Jessica said.

"But why ?" he questioned her to give him reasons for rejecting him.

"Because I didn't like him and that is the main reason and dad you told that you won't force me so please ....."

Jessica said getting up from her seat.

After that Jessica's father didn't ask her anything.

Days passed and Jessica was busy preparing for her fashion show. I was Tuesday already and the show starts by evening.

Rachel was very excited for her show till yesterday but she couldn't attend the show because her mother, Clara fell sick and was hospitalized.

Rachel called Jessica yesterday and she continuously apologized her. Jessica felt bad but she understood her situation. None of her family members were free to attend her first show. They were busy with their own work.

Jessica was depressed thinking that none of people she wanted to come are not coming but the person whom she didn't want to come is coming to watch her show. It's not like she hates Jake, she's just afraid that she might hurt his feelings unknowingly and she don't want that happen. She's afraid that he might have hopes for her.

Everybody were busy, they were running around, the place was a total mess.

"The president is coming? Are you sure? Is he coming here?" Jessica heard someone talking as she was walking.

"President ?" Jessica thought and she didn't bother about it much.

The show started sharp at nine in the evening. The models who were dressed in the clothing which Jessica created, walked the catwalk. The clothes were obviously of ASA. They are of Sanchez, Sanchez is also known by the name ASA. They were other designers just like Jessica whose designs are being shown to the people through the models. The theme was spring summer. This fashion show is conducted by Sanchez to show various designs made by the designers in their company to the people. After the models, it was the designer's turn to walk. Jessica was super nervous as it was her first time. She could here people giving a round of applause but she wasn't looking at anyone. She just walked straight and bowed, she didn't even look at the people who seated in front of her, she just walked.

After the show ended, everybody congratulated her for her performance.

Jessica was packing her things to leave before Jake could find her.

"Long time no see !!!"

Jessica heard a voice which came from behind, it was a man's voice, his voice made her froze for a second. It was the voice which she has been yearning to listen. The voice which she could never forget in her life time.
