5 A week later

One week has passed since I was given this gorgeous body!

I've learned lots of things

when that voice showed me the reincarnation system it mentioned that I was able to use elite magic so I asked my father to get me a magic book and he actually agreed

So right now I'm sitting on my small bed and flipping through the pages

Ranks is the measurement of one's magical abilities for instance think of ranks as a wine bottle, if you have little magic the wine bottle will gently pour into the cup but if it is filled to the top it will spill and go everywhere

Powerful mages from the beginning of time created crystal balls to test ones magical abilities

If the ball glows blue you are given the rank mage and have normal control of magic although they aren't as strong as the other ranks they can grow to a point where they could put up a good fight between warrior rank

If it glows red you are given the warrior rank their magical abilities are rare and strong and symbolize good hearts and wills to live

If it glows gold you are an elite rank and have insanely powerful magic to a point where you may slay a dragon with a simple breath

| citizens who receive a golden glow are most commonly males of royal bloodline |

| insanely rare for commoners of either gender to claim a golden glow |

" ahh I see what it means " I happily chirped while flipping to a page that showed the ranks in order

"AKEMI DEAR COME GET YOUR BREAKFAST" I hear my mother shriek upstairs

"COMING MAMA" I yell back

I gently place the book on my dirty old desk

And nearly sprint upstairs

[ mothers cooking is always the best ] I thought while arriving at the kitchen and nearly falling

"Don't run in the house akemi" my mother sighed while handing me my plate of food

I only reply with a mischievous smile and return to my small basement room

This time I take 30 minutes eating mothers bacon, savoring that delicious taste

I put my plate down to do my morning workout

I decided the night that I came here that i would try to make my body stronger and the morning workouts slowly helped I could now get up and walk around with out feeling weak but I still get exhausted fast

After those horrible minutes of my day spent working out, I go upstairs to the kitchen to place my dish away

I hear voices outside and I unwillingly over hear the conversation

"come on Daichi I know you have a daughter" I hear an unfamiliar voice say

"Stop joking around like this Carl I'm not letting your son court my daughter" I hear my fathers voice say sternly

"Daichi..." I hear Carl say calmly

"She is of courting age, is she not? It would be best if your daughter married my son so that both our farms can unite and succeed"

There is a moment of silence

[ I guess I'm might be forced to marry ] I think while cleaning my dish

[ oh well, at least this mother and father cared for me ]

[ agreeing with this marriage could be the only true gift I can give my parents ]

Suddenly my father replies

" Carl..... I will think about this arrangement with the condition that my daughter fall in love with your son at her own free will" my dad says

I stopped dead in my tracks

Although I assumed he would answer like that, he never actually let me see any men except him

[ So this means I'll finally get to meet someone other then my father and mother ] I think to myself while smiling

My dad walks in and sees me cleaning my dish

He grins and picks me up and starts tickling me in the air

"PAPA STOP" I shriek while laughing tears

"That's what you get for being a little eavesdropper" my dad said while throwing me in my bed

"Papa I'm sorry for being so nosy but, what's this man named Carl's son like?" I say curiously

"Why do you want to know" my dad says turning away from me with a hurt look in a joking manner

I hit my dad on the shoulder

"Calm down papa no man can ever surpass my love for you and mama" I yell

My dad picks me up and puts me on his shoulders

"Well stinker if your not the prettiest in the village your the prettiest in the world" my dad chirped happily

"That's why I got to be careful helping you choose your one and only love" he continued

"Your beauty could win over the prince's if they saw you, you my dear could bring us riches beyond compare" my dad said

"That's why it's lucky you got blessed with parents like me and your mother, were actually letting you experience love, others would have used your beauty for power" my father says calmly

I nod my head

"That said, your meeting Carl's son tomorrow" my dad says suddenly and quickly as if it was a fact he wish he could ignore
