Startling changes (3)

The air around the Dartwood manor had gotten warmer as though it was the time of afternoon all of a sudden. It was as though night had turned into day.

The old warlock Richard Dartwood stood there stunned as he looked up at the sky that had all of a sudden seemed to brighten up. His grip on his cane shook as he saw what was looming above their heads. 

"Th-this.. this…" Richard's voice quavered as his mouth suddenly went dry.

Because high up above in the sky, with a loud deafening rumble around ten large, humongous gigantic balls of fire had suddenly formed looking no less than miniature-sized suns and were rushing at them now. 

All of the older and experienced Dartwood could sense that the power within those flames was no simple fire that could be put out.

The rest of the Dartwoods looked up with pale faces and saw the night sky being brightened up suddenly due to the light being given off by the flaming meteors rushing at them.
