After what could be said to have been a tasteless trip, Appa carried everyone to the southern water tribe village.

It was a surprise when they arrived, but of course, they were all welcome, and given a place to rest.

Everyone had recovered except for Ky, who was still unconscious even until this point, worry about it was not small, but all they could do was wait for him to show any response.

"Your abilities are impressive, but I don't think the cost is worth it…" Katara was the person who spent the most time taking care of him, while he was in the state, to her this was given, and to others, she was just being Katara through suspicion over their closeness had become a rumor ever since they performed together for the village.

On the outside of the igloo where Ky was resting, Sokka was left with the task of looking over the young Avatar.

"… Hey… Sokka? Was it?… I was kinda curious… You and Katara are siblings, right?" Aang started asking.

"Urghm… Yeah… What about it?" Sokka who was deep in thought found himself annoyed.

"It's just I was curious, you know… Is Ky also your brother?" Aang continued to ask.

"No, but he's pretty close to being family." Sokka responded with a sigh.

"… Is he engaged to Katara?!" Aang looked shocked at the possibility.

"What? No!… Just no!… That's…" Sokka rejected the idea vehemently until something clicked in his head. "… No, now's not the time to worry about that! Those Fire Nation nutcases could pop up here at any moment! We have to be ready!"

"Oh so, they aren't dating?" Aang was still more focused otherwise.

"NO! Now listen to me! Your wind magic tingy is very powerful and we're gonna need it when those guys attack!" Sokka was too worried about serious matters to care or bother thinking about them.

"Great! That's what I wanted it hear!" Aang fist-pumped the air.

"Good! That's the spirit! Come with me! We're gonna have a surprise prepared for them!" Sokka didn't get his vibe and just dragged him to prepare his plan.

Back inside the igloo, Katara was still looking over an unconscious Ky, who was unmoving, only breathing lightly, like some sort of coma.

*Sigh*

She felt it was a distressful situation, but they did not have time for that, things were looking bleak, and they would soon have to leave if they didn't want the Fire Nation causing trouble in their home.

First looking around to make sure no one was watching, about 3 times, Katara sighed again, with a slight blush on her face as she covered it using both hands, before letting out a groan as if to beat herself up for something. Whatever was going through her mind was frustrating.

"If you do it… uh… it's not bad if you're trying to help... I mean, the healing waterbending and the medicinal herbs didn't work… So, what else do I have left?… Plus, Elemental Island was a fairy tale and that's real… Nobody has to know… Right? Yes! I'm doing this to help!" Katara had a discussion all with herself, trying to make some decision, and she did.

Leaning in, her face a mere centimeter from his. She could feel his odd yet pleasant smell, it was a little of nothing overshadowed by the scent of peaches, and chocolate…

"There aren't even peaches anywhere in the southern pole… How?… He's always so odd in the most unexpected ways… It's a little refreshing… So… For good luck… yeah, I'll do it for him." Upon getting close, she once again proceeded to convince herself of her reasons.

Not wasting more time in doubt, she sighed again and just went for it, placing a kiss on his cheek, a bit more than a peck, a bit less than much more, just a kiss.

"Ahhh!…" Katara was jump scared into lunging herself at the wall, becoming shaky from the sudden movement.

"That… scared me, gosh…" Katara looked around again sighing when no one came, it seemed she was lucky and nobody heard her.

Following that, she walked back to Ky looking at him showing much more movement than before.

"Did it work?… he tastes like chocolate… Am I going crazy?…. Uurrrgghh!" Katara found herself confused as she once again covered her blushing face with her hands and groaned, before sitting there with her face buried into her legs, wishing she could bury herself into the earth.

He looked through all the stats and was a little surprised to see 12 different attributes when normally there are only about 6 of them, but that was not something that bothered him all that much.

[No. There is another feature to this system. Once per month, the user can utilize the harem sex assimilation with any one of the harem members. This feature allows the user to assimilate some of the skills, magic, racial traits, unique traits, and or techniques, the harem member possesses. As well as the empowerment of all parties involved, the weaker link gains the most from the exchange.]

(So… basically dual cultivation… Great! That's just what I needed. While the system is not perfect it seems my gamble was worth it, after all, I can quite literally be fucked back to life if need be.
