This is want I get for caring

Mornings are nice especially if you don't let the day ahead of you bog you down. I'm not very good at that but I try. It's hard not to think about the things you need to do. The worst part is no one is telling me I have to do them so I could just not do them and the only person I'd hurt would be me. It would be easy not to do anything… nice even, unfortunately I'm not that kind of person anymore.

Getting up I go through my early morning routine like any other day. I've been in the village for a while now much longer than I expected. Guess being the student of Orochimaru has more benefits then I originally thought. 

Orochimaru… I haven't seen him in nearly two weeks one day I show just like any other he gives me the key to his little library to keep this time and tells me he has important matters to attend to and he'll contact me when he's back. 

So other then my training with the snake and some D-ranks I've had no responsibilities. I've been thinking about maybe seeing if I can get a higher rank mission but I'd need to find a team first. 

Kakashi wasn't home so I'll need to track him down.

Finding Kakashi wasn't hard which he doesn't like given the look he's giving me right now.

"Kakashi, are you getting easier to track or am I just that good," I say.

"Sozo what are you doing here?"

"Need to speak with Minato? Is he around?"

Not responding Kakashi pointed over to the tree line before going back to doing whatever a Kakashi does. Following Kakashi's direction I find Minato sitting under a tree sounded by various books and what looks to be Fuinjutsu of some kind. 

Interesting?

"Namikaze-san."

"Sozo what can I do for you?" He said, shutting the book he was holding."

"I want to take on some higher rank missions so can I join you and Kakashi on your next C-rank mission?"

"Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem but don't you have Orochimaru as your sensei?"

"He's had other things to attend to," I respond.

"Umm… 0k?"

"Oh and one more thing? Can you sign someone else up for therapy?" I ask.

The two of us look over at Kakashi who is trying to fight a clone of Minato.

Huh didn't see that clone earlier.

"I don't know."

"Do you know where I'd go to find out?"

"The Hospital… I think."

"Alright, when is your next mission?"

"Not sure, I'll have Kakashi inform you."

"Cool see ya around Minato."

"Oh one more thing Sozo,"

"Hmm?"

Minato dug around in a bag before pulling out a familiar seal.

"Sorry I meant to return it but it just keeped slipping my mind,"

Grabbing the seal, I check it for damage. Seeing nothing wrong with the seal I put the seal into my bag.

I wasn't too thrilled that he had my seal, especially given he is also a Fuinjutsu practitioner. But Minato doesn't seem like a bad guy so I wasn't too upset. 

"Don't suppose you have anything that could help me with barrier Fuinjutsu?" I ask.

Looking through his bag he pulls out even more Fuinjutsu books.

Got damn how many books on this stuff does he have on him?

"This was written by the second Hokage, Tobirama Senju. Inside you'll find a lot of useful information but be careful this book is important."

Grabbing the book I flipped through it seeing it wasn't a typical book but something similar to Nõka Hatake journal. 

"Is this the second Hokage's journal?"

Minato nodded, smiling.

"Are you allowed to give me this?"

Minato's smile falters a little before shrugging.

"Just return it when you're done with it and hopefully my sensei doesn't ask for it back anytime soon." 

I let out a chuckle before putting the book in my bag. 

"We should study Fuinjutsu together sometime," I say before turning to leave.

"Definitely."

…

"Can I sign someone else up for therapy?" 

Arriving at the hospital I asked the front desk about therapy and they redirected me to one Yamanaka Aki who was in charge of this sort of stuff. Turns out most don't seek out therapy only going when it's mandatory.

"In most cases no but if the situation is severe enough a request can be sent to the Hokage for mandatory therapy."

Does the Hokage need to approve everything?

"Can we do the whole mandatory thing?" 

"Who are you trying to sign up," he says, grabbing a clipboard.

"Hatake Kakashi."

That certainly got his attention.

"What's your relationship with Kakashi?"

"I'm his best friend. We live together so I have a pretty good idea how Kakashi is doing. I'm also a sensor. He may keep his be good I keeping a straight face his chakra doesn't lie. Kakashi is five years old and I'm not really equipped to help him." 

"How long have you lived with Kakashi?"

"I've lived with Kakashi for over half a year."

"Did you know Hatake Sakumo?"

"Yes."

"Were you close."

"Yes."

After a bit more questioning and some waiting on my part I left with some documents I offered to take to the Hokage building.

Entering the Hokage building I'm about to leave the forms with the front desk lady when the Hokage enters the building. 

Unsure what, I just kinda back away from the front desk as the Hokage approaches. Grabbing the stack of papers with the ones I brought on top. 

"Hello young man Sozo Akinori I believe?"

"Yes Hokage-sama."

"What brings you here?"

"I brought over some forms from the hospital."

"I see," Grabbing the top document he reads it over.

"Sozo, join me in my office."

Ah shit.

Following the Hokage we enter his office.

So this is the Hokage huh.

The Hokage sat down and began to read over the forms for putting Kakashi in mandatory therapy. 

"You're concerned for Kakashi's mental health."

"Yes Hokage-sama." 

"Perhaps it would be for the best." The Hokage said to himself looking over the forms.

Over on the wall was a framed picture of the first and second Hokage's. My eyes focused more on the second as I did have his journal in my bag. 

"How is Kakashi?"

"Kakashi is troubled to say the least, he blames himself for his father's death. He's strong, don't get me wrong I don't think this is enough to keep Kakashi down but he's still a five year old kid who needs professional help," I say looking the Hokage in the eyes.

"And what of you?"

"Umm… What about me?"

"I have two forms here one for Kakashi and one for you,"

My mind immensely went back to all the questions Aki asked me about how close I was to Sakumo and Kakashi. 

I knew those questions were weird.

"I don't suppose you could throw away the one meant for me?" I ask hopefully 

This gets a chuckle from the Hokage who signs off on the forms.

"Bring these back to Yamanaka Aki."

Taking the papers from the Hokage I leave his office, closing the door under me. Looking down at the signed forms 

Sozo Akinori approved for mandatory therapy.

"Fuck."
