After breakfast, Taylor picked up her school bag and packed the lunch that her mother had prepared for her into her backpack. At least she was friends with Amy again. School had been a lonely, desolate place without Amy's friendship over the past few weeks. She should have spoken to her sooner and cleared everything up. Taylor called goodbye to her mother and walked out the door, her head full of all that had happened in the Obsidian Realm. She desperately wanted to get back to her new friends and take Amy with her, too. But how Taylor was sure that together the two girls could defeat the Fabula and return the Obsidian Realm to its peaceful former state. However, it seemed the portal between the worlds had closed and Taylor had no clue of how to open it again.
