That was the only thing Blade said while he kept driving in the same direction which made Ian start to get scared a little because he was going with someone who hates him after giving him the right to do anything he wants in his life to somewhere anonymous especially when Blade started driving away from the city.

Ian gulped and decided to just ask him "Where are we going?" In the end, Blade is still not a stranger to him. Blade is still considered his fated mate even after the rejection and everything that happened after so there is nothing to worry about since the worse thing Blade can do to him is killing him.

'Yeah nothing to worry about.' This is what Ian was using to calm himself down. 

"Didn't you say you want to see your son?" Blade asked while he was still driving and focusing on the road without sparing Ian a glance.
