Chapter 6

Eric, as he took everything from Nabu, he smiled, he then remembered the place Nabu showed him after being told about it one more time and smiled as he waved at the man goodbye and as he got inside his home, he saw the dead monster still there, so he smiled as he closed the door, he then glanced at the already closed curtains and went to eat his somewhat fresh monster meat. Eric went and made a fire with the steel and flint he found next to the clay oven that was already in the hut and he did this after he put in some wood and a little of his beds hay, he then waited till it heated up and as it did, he grabbed a large thin stone to put on the clay oven, he then cut some meat with the knife he got for free with the Axe, and as he did, he went and cut the beast meat into big pieces, and at first, he thought his body was different as he tried to eat a piece of monster meat raw, but as he did, it didn't take long before he threw it up due to his stomach hurting and as he did, he looked at it for a bit, before he threw it on the stone and cooked it as he thought "Why waste?".

Eric put some salt and pepper he got from the trip that he didn't buy, rather it was a gift from Nabu and a few other things, and as he ate, he felt a stronger empowering warmth compared to the other meat he ate at the orphanage training camp, he then kept eating and as he did, he put more of the meat on the stone and kept at it, and as this kept going, Eric noticed soon enough that there was no meat left to eat other than it's organs and bones, and as he saw this, he touched his stomach and thought "I'm not hungry...but I'm not full either…" and as Eric thought that, he continued thinking "Just ate around 30 ish pounds of meat as if it was nothing...., since the monster weighed around 64 pounds and the rest of the weight is basically what's left of the body right now", and as Eric looked at the organs and bones, he thought against it to eat them, and turned off the fire by blocking its path of oxygen and as he did, he then looked at the monster crystal. Eric remembered that those who tried eating it always died and as he thought of this, he thought "Why not? I do like gambling after all" and as he did, he grabbed and looked at it for a bit, before he tired eating it, and as he did, be found it really hard to do so as he struggled to crush it with his mouth, and with that, he tried using some power and focused it on his teeth and as he did, he was able to chew it easily and after that, he then swallowed it.

Eric, after he ate the crystal, felt nothing wrong and after a bit, he still felt no warmth either, and so he thought "What a waste of 3 utips.." and so he got up, but as he did, he felt his stomach hurt as he heard it rumble, and as it did, he looked confused, he then looked at the hay bed as he thought of sleeping it off, but as he did, he felt extreme warmth spreading all over, he then looked down and saw his dick getting hard and veiny and as he saw that, he glanced at his hand and saw dark purple light going through his veins, and soon enough he heard another rumble from his stomach and groaned in pain as he felt his body getting tighter and hotter, he then grabbed the floor roughly as he scratched it to try and form a fist, but as he did, a few nails broke off, but he didn't care as he couldn't feel it compared to the pain of his whole body felt, and if Eric could see himself now, he would see his green eyes glowing a little purple from the center of his pupils and his teeth turning sharper, while his hair grew longer. Eric started to sniff as his body heated up, and soon enough, Eric looked at the organs and bones of the dead beast and crawled to it before he started to eat it, and as he did, he started eating it...all.

Eric opened his eyes, and after he did, he started looking around before he felt...refreshed for some reason, he then thought "What happened?" and as he did, he looked at his morning wood, he then looked surprised as it was even bigger and thicker than it was yesterday, he then thought "Growth spurt ...no that doesn't work" and as he remembered something, he quickly turned around and looked for the dead beasts remains and as he did, he saw nothing other than some dark purple blood here and there, and as he saw that, he looked around and saw it was nowhere, he then touched his stomach and thought "Wow…." he then remembered his hair getting longer and his teeth feeling different as he ate the bones, and so he thought "Nononononon" and as he did, he took out a wide oval bowl and poured water in it, he then looked at his reflection and saw he looked...fine...ish?

Eric saw his hair grew a few inches, he's eyes, skin, and hair were brighter in color, he even saw some purple color at the end tips of his brown hair, and as he saw this, he ignored it as it could be blood, but as he tried to wash it off, he found out it was his new hair color, he then opened his mouth, but he saw other than his canine teeth becoming sharper, nothing much changed, he then took off his clothes and looked over and other than a bigger bro and a brighter skin, he's muscles got more defined, while his old scars looked like they've shrunk but there were still there and as he saw this, he then put his clothes back on and stood by the curtains to measure his height as he remembered how tall he was from standing next to it yesterday, and as he did, he found out he was taller by an inch...nothing much about that… it was a good thing but it kinda hurt him as he wanted to be taller.

Eric walked backwards slowly and sat down, he then remembered that his nails grew as he ate yesterday and as he looked at them, he saw that his broken nails were fixed, and they looked a bit sharp at the tip, but it wasn't like yesterday night, he remembered how he tore off the meat with his...claws? Long nails? And he also remembered how easy it was for him to crush those bones as he ate them with his teeth without power. Eric didn't understand what happened, he then thought of something as he looked at his clothes that looked ruined, so he left and went to buy a new pair of clothes as well as a black cloak, and as he bought them all for 4 utips, he then stopped at a shop and bought a whole monster that looked kinda liked the one he ate and as he did, he bought its crystal and in total, it was 9 utips he spent on everything today, he then got home and looked at the 14 utips he had left, he then thought "I'll go hunting tomorrow, but the guide cost 7 utips…it's fine, I only need to pay once...but at least I got a big bag from Nabu as a home welcoming gift...but the question is...does he have plans for giving me a gift? Well... that doesn't matter...I may leave soon...due to whatever I am" and as he thought this, he looked at his hair in the reflection on the water and started cutting it with a knife, and he only cut a bit and those were the end tips that turned dark purple but he noticed his hair was stronger than it should be as it got a bit difficult to cut it with the knife, but the knife was fine in the end after cutting.

Eric went and left the monster at a corner, he then took out its core from his pouch and left it on its head and as he finished, he noticed something as his ear twitched, he then stood by the window and heard yelling and as he did, he then looked and saw the neighbors that were quite a distance from him were yelling and the funny thing is, he could hear it all loud and clear, but as this started happening, he couldn't focus on what was being said as his body started burning up, and as it did, he felt his senses changing, as he could feel more of his senses, then he couldn't feel anything at all, and after a few minutes and Eric thinking he was gonna turn to what ever last night was, he found out he was fine, no more pain, no warmth, nor loss of any of his senses, nothing at all, and so he slowly stood up and as he did, his ears twitched as he looked out of the window, he then saw a married couple and a child and as he did, he saw them appear so close and as he did, he thought of something and tried fixing his eyes by relaxing the muscles in his eyes as he blinked and as he succeeded, he saw that he could see just fine and as he couldn't really hear anything, he focused on his ears and soon enough he could hear the conversation, and it was about the man sleeping with a woman at a brothel and wasting their money as she and their daughter starved from hunger, he then saw the man slap her while screaming at her, and then walking away.

Eric looked at the scene, he then tired something as he sniffed and as he did, he held his nose thinking "She needs a shower, holy shit" and as he did, he went back inside ignoring them and tried doing his normal physical training activities, and as he did, he found out his surpassed his limit by almost 5 times the amount and so he laughed as he sat down and breathed, he then felt some hunger and as he did, he stopped laughing as he looked at the dead monster, he then thought "This is why...I bought it" and so he started a fire within oven, and after putting the stone on the clay oven, he started cutting the meat as he heated it up, he then put some salt and some pepper and started eating, and as he ate he felt a pitiful amount of empowering warmth, but this didn't stop him as he kept eating and eating he did, and a while later, he grabbed the crystal and ate it, and he did so this time without using power on his teeth as it became easier with his new ones? Or was it his new facial muscle strength? He then glanced at the organs and felt his body was getting warmer and felt more power, but he felt no stomach ache, and as he waited, he saw no raging boner or him going after food after taking a sniff, he then looked at his veins and didn't see it bulging as it glowed bright purple like yesterday and after all that waiting, he then yawned and slept due to getting bored from waiting, and soon he woke up the next morning and as he did, he looked at his usual morning wood that looked hard as ever, he then looked and smelled something, he then turned and saw the monsters body still there, as in its organs and bones and as he saw this, he stood up and stretched, he then felt refreshed as he did like yesterday morning, but wasn't as good.

Eric thought about how his body changed, he then thought of something and gave it a try as he thought "Why not?" but in reality, it was just to see, as he tried before and failed, but this time instead of raw meat, he took a bit of a raw organ, and that was the kidney..., well he thought it was and he ate it, and as he did, he didn't feel anything wrong other than the taste, everything seemed fine, he even felt a bit stronger warmth than eating earlier today's meat, but when saying a bit, it was only by a margin, but the difference can be felt. Eric, noticed as he kept eating, the taste just turned bland so he kept eating all the organs, except the reproductive ones and as he finished, he just felt warm in general, and after burying the rest outside, he started washing himself with a bowl of water and a rag and after, he started hearing the neighbors that were kinda far arguing again, but it was mostly the woman arguing before he heard the man hit her, he then heard her say not in front of the child, and soon heard slapping sounds with the lady crying and telling her daughter to look away and as Eric heard that, he thought "Sounds rough" and grabbed his stuff, and the small water container, he then went next to the door and lifted the 17 pound Viking ax and as he did, he already knew it was too light for him, but now, he didn't even feel it, and so he kept note of that as he left. Eric started walking to a specific building and hired a guide to guide him to the forest where he could find low tier 1 and 2 monsters, and as Eric paid, the guide let him know that he had to buy a pass that let him leave the village, anytime for a week and so he would not be called a deserter and as he heard the price, he thought it was fine as it was just 1 utip.
