8 Chapter 7( Puppy love)

I keep my face in front as our last professor writes down our homework for the next day. First day of school and theres this homework already. I guess I'll be a constant customer in our library for now

"So your new here? I haven't seen you around before."

I glance at the guy beside me as he suddenly spoke. There still this grin plastered on his face. I did not answer him back and just put my focus on our professor in front. Our class is not yet done and I dont want to talk with anyone when still in class.

"You're too stiff. Come on, I was just simply asking."

I remained looking in front and just ignore him. It was after a minute when the professor decided to end the class. I immediately get my stuffs and put it on my bag. I was ready to go out when someone block my way. I look up and saw that it was that guy.

I sighed and folded my arms. He's so tall. My eyes only labeled his chin. His hair is on an army cut of type. There's this piercing too on his left ear. My forehead crease because of that. Are students allowed to wear piercings? Why would this guy can easily enter the school premises without being brought to the guidance?

He again grinned. I glance at the girls who were looking at the two of us. There were group of girls together with his friends. Waiting for him..

"What?" I asked.

"Now you're talking." He replied with a grin.

I smiled at him and shrugg my shoulder's off.

But as I look at him, I suddenly realized that I have something to ask.

I cleared my throat and speak.

"Well, I was kinda curious. Are you..related to Joseph Grayson Acharon? You have the same surnames. Are you guys brothers or cousins?"

His mood then changed the moment I asked him that. Gone the grin plastered on his face earlier.

"Dude lets go." He said and walked away.

I was so dumbfounded that I didnt notice the moment he and his friends walked away. What did I do? Did I say something wrong? Whats with the changes of attitude?

"So pathetic. Were totally right that its still about Joseph. Dont you come nearer with Mau again. You're just the same gold digging bitch out there trying to lure Joseph through his younger brother. Lets go girls. Lets find and talk Mau."

A girl from that group said. They all both rolled their eyes at me and then they leave the room.

Wow! What was that all about? I mean, what's with their conspirancy theories about me? I was just simply asking if he's related to Grayson and nothing else. And besides, he was the one who approaches me first. I even ignore him a while ago!

Whatever. I just then decided to text our driver. I might as well go home now. Schools feels like a toxic place for me. I was kinda thinking to transfer schools but I know for sure that my dad wont allow it! Urgh! This is frustrating me.

I decided to shake all the negativities. I started walking from the schools field when I accidentally bump into someone.

I look up and I was so surprised to see that it was that guy the other day.

"Are you okay? I'm sorry I was kinda busy with this papers I didn't see you there."

It was that guy named Vin.

I shake my head off.

"No its okay. I was kinda preoccupied too and I didn't see where I'm going. "

I smiled at him and Vin touches his nape while smiling back.

He's wearing a baby blue round neck shirt and jeans. His dimple showed making him cuter.

"Alright. But still I'm reallt sorry. By the way, are you done with your class?" He asked.

"Yup. Actually I'm on my way to my car."

"Oh! That's great!." He nodded.

" I wanted to treat you for a lunch today but I'm kinda busy. Maybe next time? What do you think?" He added.

I smiled at him and nodded. "Sure no problem. I'll go ahead."

Vin nodded and we bid goodbyes. Not a bad day afterall. I've found a friend, with Vin. His not that bad. His kinda cute actually.

I'm on my way to my car when my eyes caught something familiar. My heart beated wildly but I just shake it off. I was shaking my head off when someone from the car get out.

I was in awe upon seeing Grayson as he lean on his car. He was wearing a black shirt and jeans. An aviator covered his eyes, his pointed nose can be clearly seen from here. His adams apple portruded as he was typing something on his phone.

All of the students especially girls started whispering while looking at him. Some are even shrieking.

I can't blame them though. He's really hot.

The right amount of muscles on his body, perfect angled jaw, pointed nose and long legs were making Grayson look like some international model doing a shoot. Plus he is indeed gorgeous.

I sighed when I realize that my attraction is still on point. Nothing have changed and its kinda building up!

Friendship. I keep on reminding myself that word. I was about to call him and waved at him when my voice faded and I slowly put down my hand.

Glare is walking towards Grayson's direction. She was smiling as she uttered something which I cant seem to understand.

My almost smile faded. I feel weaker and bitter for no reason. I saw how Glare kiss Grayson's cheeks that made him look up.

I decided to look away.

"Let's go." I said to our driver.

What I just saw earlier shouldn't be surprising. Ofcourse they'll be seeing each other. Its his fiancee Ads. Your just a girl trying to be his friend.

I closed my eyes and just sighed.

The sala are quiet as I entered. Mom and Dad are probably not here.

I then decided to go upstairs and change. I might as well go horseback riding today. I need to that so I cpuld divert my attention. Plus, I somewhat forgotten how to ride a horse, it could be a very perfect timing to learn it again.

I pick up a highwaisted denim jeans and a white spaghetti strap.

I tied my hair into a high ponytail and wear my boots. I check my face in the mirror and notice my cute cheeks. I smiled at my reflection and heavily sighed.

I then decided to go downstairs so I could pick what horses to used.

"Maam Sad, your father told us to tell you that he's on the sugar cane plantation today. He said that if you wanted to follow Mr Matias will be taking you there." A housemaid said.

I let my tongue touch my inner teeth and replied.

"Where was the sugar cane located?"

"Near the mango plantation Ma'am." The housemaid replied.

I nodded.

"Should I call Matias Maam or you'll eat first?".

I shake my head.

"No need. I'll go there with a horse. Its not that far right?"

The housemaid grimaced. She doesn't like the idea that I'm trying to do.

This people should stop treating me like a baby. I'm at a legal age already. I'm 18!

"I think Matias driving you in there would be a very good idea Ma'am. And you still need to eat your lunch." She said.

I waved my hands at her as I walk into our kitchen. She followed me looking annoyed.

I decided to take a bite from a sandwich on the counter.

"I'll have this sandwich as my lunch. And dont worry, I can take care of myself. I know how to ride a horse."

I assured her. Even if the truth is, I somewhat forgotten some details. But I wont tell her that, the more they dont want me to go if I'll tell them..

The housemaid grimaced again and I just waved my hand at her. I walked fastly to the horses stables. There were two of our people there cleaning and taking care of our horses.

They all look at me with faces full of confusions.

"I'll used one to have a walk around the plantation. Dad already told me to come." I immediately said.

The workers look at each others eyes before they shake their heads.

I rolled my eyes. "Come on, I know how to ride one. And please, dont make me call my dad for this. He might be very busy and I dont want to disturb him. "

With what I said the workers immediately nodded. I smiled mischievouly.

I move nearer to the stables so that I could choose what horse to used.

Hmm. I kinda like this milky one. All of the horses here are healthy and in good condition. I missed playing polo. Should I start practicing now? Oh! This is making me excited!

I already chosen one and the caretaker decided to take the horse's out.

"Whats his name?" I asked the worker. He also told me that the horse is a boy.

"This is Tororo Maam."

I chuckled. "Why would you name him that? The names kinda cute while this horse quiete masculine and strong." I said while laughing.

The horse is milky white with dark spots. The worker's assisted me while I tried to climb on the horse's back. I was kinda nervous that my first attempt was bad. Some of the workers notices it and he eyed me suspiciously.

"Maam are you really s-sure you know how to ride a horse?." Someone asked me with a tone of suspicion.

I grimaced and rolled my eyes. I can handle it okay. I wanted to say but I just keep it to myself.

I wont be able to go if they'l keep on interrogating me here.

One of the workers look so disappointed as he let go of the rope. Most of them look troubled while looking at me.

I grinned while manevourving the horse. Luckily the sun is not out for today. The sky looks like its about to rain.

"Hmm freedom." I said while closing my eyes and spreading my arms. The wind blowing my hair touching my skin, the birds chirping and the silence of everything made me feel at peace.

I'm loving the moment as I was horseback riding when my smile suddenly faded. A car from a far stops. I bit my lip when its Grayson'a car.

I manevoured the horse to stop just at the moment Grayson get out from his car.

"Good afternoon." I said lightly.

He look around and move closer. I cleared my throat as of the moment he went nearer. Our eyes still labeled even if I'm already riding the horse.

"Where are you going?" He asked with his voice so deep.

I reminded myself to act calm and treat him casually. This is friendship knocking inside you Ads. Get a hold of yourself please!

"Uhm, Y-yeah." I uttered stutterly. But then I suddenly realized that what I've answered is far from what he asked. His lips rose for a taunting smirk.

I cleared my throat.

"I m-mean, I'm going to my father's sugar cane. I wanna look around our land." I answered clearer this time.

He nodded and stared at me again. Making me more anxious and nervous every passing moment.

"I was at your school a while ago." He said.

I mentally rolled my eyes. Ofcourse you are. I even saw who you've picked. No need to brag.

"Really? Didn't see you there though!?" I replied. Trying to act surprised.

His lips rose for a smirk.

"Really?" He asked.

I nodded. I look at him and how his expression shows like he's laughing, not believing what I just said.

My forehead crease and I cleared my throat.

"Why are you here? Are you going to my father's sugar cane too? Oh! Thats right! Are you going there to learn the process?" I asked.

He heavily sighed and nodded.

"Well good luck then. I'll just gonna enjoy the ride. Bye." I said while smiling as I manevoured the horse to started walking.

I didnt look back and I only heared his car engine roar to life. I thought he'd only passed me this time cause he have work to do. But a gasp came out from my mouth when his car started moving with the same speed the horses did!

His window is opened. I can clearly see how his arms lazily hold the steering wheel. I cant help but think that he's being so nice to me. I stiffle a small smile and bit my lip.

I should stop feeling this way. Were friends. And this is a normal thing to do with friends.

But can I still feel giddy because of this? Besides, its me whos feeling this way. I wont bother telling him to accept my feelings. I'm content with this for now. What a sick puppy love of mine. Yeah. This is a puppy love. I'll get over it someday. I know for sure.
