15 Chapter 14( Smiled)

I stayed up all night just because I keep on thinking about Grayson, reason why I woke up late for school! Ms. Mercy keeps on going in and out on my room and wasn't paranoid as I am maybe because she heard what I said mommy last night that its just the festival's opening and its alright for me to be late! But I didn't mean it to be this late!

I cursed silently while hurriedly entering my bathroom. I feel like I was the female version of flash that I finishes my bathroom routine faster than I thought I could!

After deciding what to wear I heavily sighed and sitted in front on my mirror while putting some lip gloss and blushes on. I already blow dried my hair and let it loose this time. I am wearing a white crop top polo and a highwaisted denim jeans, paired with a white converse shoes and a creamy white mini back pack for today.

After checking my look I decided to go downstairs. Both of my parents are nowhere to be found. Dad must be on the plane right now and Mom leave the house earlier than I expected. I dont have a choice but to eat alone. Bexley texted me and we will meet at school cause she wanted to see me,again, and have some of our milktea time. She's studying on a different colleges thats why we dont see much at my school.

I was kinda nervous thinking about whats gonna happen today. I keep on practicing my social skills so that I wont look like an idiot in front of Grayson. I know it sounds stupid but I always got crazy when he's around! Add the fact that I really like him!

I heavily sighed and get in inside our car. I decided to attend the grand opening this time while Bexley will have her time coming at our school. Besides, I didnt join any activities so maybe its easy and seems fine to sneak out.

It was after a minute when I arrived at our school. The wide field seems different from what it looks like before. Tall and sexy girls were wearing cheering outfits. Today's the opening of the festival days in general and there are a lot of activities prepared for the rest of the week.

The reason why I came here is to get my attendance and ofcourse watch a little of the festival's opening. I dont have friends thats why I'll just watch the grand opening and after that sneak out to meet Bexley.

Loud drolling of drums and shouts welcomed my ear the moment I entered the schools gymnasium. I look at the bleachers and saw how many students were all high up for this day. Most of them are girls holding some tarps and pomspoms.

That's when I realized that there might be a game this afternoon.

I decided to sit on the third row of the bleachers that seems to be the only area where I could think I could still sit. I glance at the two girls sitting beside it and asked them if its still available.

"Uhm, Excuse me. Is this space still available?"

The girl with a short hair smiled and replied. "No one. It was vacant this whole time"

I smiled at her and nodded.

I then finally seated, a perfect timing for the program to start. The usual introduction of speeches were relayed. After that the crowd acknowledge the school's president for his speech and introduction of faculty and staffs. A minute later after the presidents speech RMMC cheering squad were called for their presentation. The crowd cheered making me clap and cheered too.

Group of smexy girls entered the gymnasium. They are all wearing a powder blue and white cheering outfits. Sleeveless with touch of white and blue for their top and white highwaisted short for the bottom. They paired it with white shoes and all of their faces have glitters. I even heard someone shouting for their legs, some even do whistles. I shake my head with a little smile on my lips.

They started their dance and I was literally amazed. I mean, I've watched cheering squads before in New Zealand but seeing them now, a pure filipino like me, makes me so amazed and proud. The talents of every filipino's are quite spectacular.

Their performance ended flawlessly. Players for every department were called making the crowd,of mostly girls, went wild for their shouts and screams. My eyes widened when I saw Mau, wearing our department's varsity uniforms.

I laughed while looking at him being boastful in the crowd. There were girls shouting for his name that made him grinned more. Asshole. I chuckled.

The program ended. Just like what I expected, a game will be held this afternoon. I've heard that it was our department versus the engineerings. I check my phone and saw missed calls from Bexley.

I gasped."Oh shit! I forgot!" I said horrified. My friend might be waiting at me for hours!

I jog out of the gymnasium. I wasn't far enough when someone called my name. I stop and look around at who called. My lips formed a thin line when I saw it was Mau, together with his basketball team. They are all wearing a white and green jerseys. All of them were good looking and tall.

I catch up my breathe and smiled.

"Hey! Whats up" I said.

Mau grinned. He was holding a gym bag on his left shoulder.

"Are you gonna watch? I'll be playing today"

I bit my lip and cleared my throat.

"Maybe next time? Uh, I need to do something at home"

His smile faded. He then eventually nodded.

"I promise I'll catch up. Goodluck with the game" I said while smiling..

I waved my goodbye at him and he only nodded.

I was smiling while sending Bexley a message. I scan around and my friend looking so annoyed and kinda fakely laughing with a guy that suddenly approaches her. The guy's tall and is wearing a baskteball jersey with a number 10. He look good with his golden skin and smokey eyes, the guy is obviously from the engineering department. The guy is totally hot! But my friend, is I think, so loyal to my brother that she wont even give a slightest care with boys hitting on her. I shake my head trying to be disappointed. You need to make her yours brother or else someone might stole her from you, I thought. A smirk plastered on my lips as I thought of calling him later and..

Uhuh! I sheepishly grinned while silently taking up pictures with the guy and my friend. I'll send this to him on his viber!I laughed evilly inside my head.

I let a minute passed before I finally decided to call her. She look like she heard a call from an angel because of how glad she is while looking at me. She said something to the guy and hurriedly move her way to my direction.

I look at the guy smiling while shaking his head as he enter the schools gate.

"Oh my gosh! What took you so long? I've been calling you for hours! Seriously Ads?!" She said frustratingly.

I cant help but laughed at her. She glared at me making me stop myself from smiling.

"I'm sorry. I was distracted with the festivals opening that I haven't check my phone. Now, it seems that you're fine alone here" I tease her.

Bexley rolled her eyes and groaned.

"Oh please, lets just get out of here"

I chuckled. I saw their car parked in besides the highway and we immediately went on our way there.

My eyes glistered for confusion when she sit on the driver seat.

"Your driver?"

I cant help but asked. She rarely drive her own car, a driver will always be there for her.

"I told him to have his day off. Besides its just you and me and after this I'll go home"

Oh? Okay. I slowly nodded and went inside her car.

On our way to the milktea shop we just both keep on singing on her playlist. We were like friends who havent seen each other for a year when in fact this past few weeks I always visit her on their house!

Obviously were always like this. We've been friends since we were like five thats why.

"By the way, your birthday will be next month. Any plans?" She asked.

Oh! Yeah, it will be my 19th birthday next month. I totally forgot that its next month already.

"I dont know. Maybe a simple dinner? My brother wont be able to attend such occasion so maybe I'll just go with a simple dinner. This will be the very first time that he wont be able to attend my birthday" I sound off saying the last word.. I miss my brother..

"Hmm..just go for a skype with him. He'll be happy if you'll call"

I glance back at Bexley and nodded.

The mood seems off but Bexley manage to cheer me up. We settled then to a milktea shop near Starbrights office. The milktea shop ambiance is perfect for date and there are available area too for businesse's schedule and for studying. We choose the outdoor spot where the mini garden is beside us.

"So, care to tell me about your lovelife right now?" Bexley suddenly said with a grin.

I rolled my eyes at her. "Stop it" I cut her off while laughing.

"I've heard news that you were seen with the Mayor's son, Mauivrick? Is that it? On her sisters birthday! You're not telling me about this. Are you dating him? You know, he was known as one of the playboys on this town. But" She leaned forward to whisper which made my forehead crease.

"His older brother is more of a player than him. Plus, the man is totally hot!"

My eyes widened at Bexley. This girl!

"What? I'm just telling the truth. Have you met his brother? You were in their party right?"

I look away and cleared my throat. Its actually more than that Bexley but I wont tell you that cause you'll just keep on teasing me about it.

Her eyes glued at me with curiousity. She folded her arms and twitched her lips, looking like some detective in touch with a case, I just shrugg my shoulder's off and did not say anything.

After an hour of talking we decided to call it a day. She said to drive me home making me gapsed. I wanted to protest cause what if she might saw Grayson there? I know that maybe he's not there right now,he could be somewhere doing something. It might be too early for him to be there. I'm literally not liking this. I dont have his cellphone number so I cant text him!

On our way I just keep on spacing out. My legs were trembling and I cant seem to focus on what Bexley were saying!

I paled when were finally at the gate. A guard opened it and greeted as with respect. It seems like a natural day at work for all of our workers. Bexley park her car and we both get out.

"Good morning Ms. Sad. Good morning too Ms. Aldama" A housemaid said.

I nodded at her to show her my approval for her greetings. Bexleys hands were on her waist when she glance at my direction.

"Are you sure you wont come with me? You seems bored here. Lets just go for a night out party at uptown! What do you think?"

I hate to reject her invitation for now but I needed to. I sighed and shake my head.

"I cant. Maybe next week?" She eyed me with a hint of curiousity this time.

"Okay" She said the words slowly.

I let out a sighed when I saw her moving her way into her car. But my eyes widened more when I saw Grayson nearing us! He was pulling our horse which made her biceps flex! He was sporting with a white round neck shirt and jeans that fit perfectly his long legs. His hair is kinda disheveled and he look so hot frowning!

What the hell Ads? Are you mad? What were you thinking?!

I snap out from it when someone pinch me on my waist. I groaned and saw how Bexley move fastly to welcome the guest!

"Hi. I'm Bexley, Adeline's friend. Pardon me but I think you really look familiar. Wait.. are you Mayor Acharon's son?" Bexley immediately asked. I bit my lip frustratedly as Grayson just stared at my friend with his natural expression. A cold one.

"I'm Joseph Acharon. I came here to visit Adeline"

My friend laughed fakely and glance at me. Her pupil dilated and I saw her glared at me then look back at Grayson with her fakest smile.

"Wow! That's great. I..., I should leave you two then. By the way, are you here for business or?"

I cant help but hissed at her silently. Why would she ask that! I unconciously gazed at Grayson while trying to shake my head. I dont want him to talk cause my friend here would obviously roast me with questions later.

He smirk and then glance back at my friend.

"Its private" He replied.

"Private huh" Bexley smirked.

"Well then, I wont ask for more. Have fun you guys" She said.

"I'll call you later Ads. We have a lot more catching up to do" She uttered the words with emphasis on it then she grinned at me evilly, making me grimaced and closee my eyes.

She glance back at Grayson again and smiled at him before she went inside her car and left. I closed my eyes and frustratedly sighed.

"Do you have plans with her for today? I just saw her car entered the gate"

I gazed back at Grayson and stiffle a smile.

"Uh, she was just driving me home. B-by the way, how long are you been here?"

He sighed. "I just got here too. I thought you wont come"

I tilted my head and glance at him with a confused look.

"Why would I?"

He cant look at me straightly and it seems like he's acting stranged.

"My brother told me that he'll play for today. He was enthusiastic with it thats why I thought, cause you know, you two are friends. I just thought you'll gonna watch his game"

I really need to stop myself from smiling cause this is just so overwhelming. I was kinda surprised with what he said but I cant help but smile. Is he mad? For what? Maybe....

"W-what?" I asked chuckling this time.

He cant look at me in the eye and I saw how he seem kinda pissed and his ears started to get red! It seems to me that he was shy and he's trying to hide it by being pissed or something.

I bravely move my way in front of him. I Keep on smiling while trying to catch his eyes.

I asked him the same question again, still laughing. But my laughed turned to shrieks when he easily held my waist and lifted me to position me at the back of the horse.

My lips parted for surprised and a gasp came from my mouth as I hold into his broad shoulder. I felt like my cheeks flush thinking about how sensual it was when he touched my waist. I'm wearing a crop top thats why my stomach is kinda showing.

I look at him with still wide eyes and saw him smirking. Thats when I realized that I'm still holding on into him.

I immediately removed my hand. I cleared my throat and look away. He positioned me with my thighs apart at the middle of the horse's back.

"Now what was your question again?" He asked with a hint of playfulness on his tone..

I cleared my throat and shake my head. My legs are still trembling from that. I fanned myself and tried catching my breath. He glance at me and for the very first time, he smiled!

"Dont tease me again if you dont want me to do moves you'll be shock off" He said with a taunting smirk.
