"Oh yeah?" Chris glared.

"What might that be?" He asked.

"Let's go Rick!" Maru cheered.

As Rick stepped out from the bushes, he tripped and fell.

"HEY, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?" Chris shrieked.

"Chris!" Maru cried, quickly covering his mouth.

"Look, look!" She pointed.

As Rick lifted his head, he made eye contact with a concerned Jaeline.

"Sir, are you okay...?" She asked.

"Well, it's just..." Rick started, as he slowly began to rise.

"I've just never fallen head over heels for someone so fast..." He said, looking down, blushing.

"Eh...?" Chris and Maru stared in awe.

"There's no way, we're doomed..." Chris mumbled.

"Uh..." She looked away.

"I'm sorry, however I'm not interested in pursuing a relationship currently." Jaeline said, as she began to turn away.

"Ack!" Chris cried.

"Oh, also..." She began, turning towards the bush.

"Your friends can come out now." She said.

"Ah crap..." Chris whispered, as he began to slowly stand up.

The two waved awkwardly.

"Perhaps if you three weren't so loud, you might have fooled me..." She smiled.

"Just maybe." She winked.

"Sorry..." The three of them apologized in unison.

"Would you care to discuss this over lunch...?" She asked.

"Eh?" the trio quickly picked their heads up.

"Of course, after all of this I'd like to think it would be your treat." She said with a giggle.
