Question and answers

"So this is how you do things you fucks! I'll answer all of your fucking questions!" (Luis)

"Such an attitude for someone who just agreed to answer all of our questions," Lily says as she takes out a notebook and a pen, probably to record my answers.

"Well, I am no idiot. I know you can just read my mind after asking the question." (Luis)

"You could still try to think of something else you know?" (Lily)

"Do you think I'll fall for that falt chest?!" (Luis)

"What did you say to me!" Lily begins towards me as if she was about to punch me. The man next to her stops her.

"Think of something else." Whenever a human being is asked a question they will subconsciously think of the answer if they already know the answer to it, it doesn't matter if they are willing. Telling me to think of something else is like telling me to not breathe for the next 5 minutes.

"Oh, so you already knew, this makes it a lot easier for us then." (Lily)

"Of course it would double-A."(Luis)

She holds herself back in anger.

"So then, first question. What were you doing fighting against Argus."

"I was trying to kill him cutting board."

She gets even angrier but still stops herself.

"Why were you trying to kill him?"

"He betrayed my trust and he killed someone I hold dear. Therefore I decided that I should kill him, Ms. Plateau."

She looks ready to hit me. She most likely will with one more.

"Have you ever killed someone before him."

"Yes, Ms. Ironing board."

"That enough! I'm gonna kill you, you little brat come here." (Lily)

"Calm down Lily, he's doing it on purpose."

"But Mr. Talyor!-"

"Let me handle him, alright?"

So this guy's name is Taylor? He looks calm, insults probably won't work on him. I sigh, I was at least having fun with Ms. Snowboard.

"Just let me hit him once, he called me by something else again!" (Lily)

"Lily, just calm down for now. Remember what we came here for." (Mr. Taylor)

He stops her again.

<We have to get things out of him or we might be in big trouble. Plus, don't you want him to leave this place.>

<Not anymore! He's such a rude-> (Lily)

<The kid is a middle schooler! Do you really mean that?!> (Mr. Taylor)

She looks over at me, probably communicating telepathically. Actually, didn't it somewhat worked once with M. I try focusing on them to see if I can hear any part of the conversation.

<...understand...brat... belong in this place.> (What Luis heard)

<I understand, he may be a middle school brat. But he doesn't belong in this place.> (Lily)

I could only hear pieces, but essentially they think that I belong in this prison...I sigh, why are they all the same? They only need some information or a way to use me and then they are done with me.

<Then let me handle this.> (Mr. Taylor)

I sigh again. I might as well answer every single question they have...

"So shall we proceed?" (Mr. Taylor.)

<Mr. Talyor, his mentality changed when we had that break, I don't know what happened but be more careful about the way he changes his answers.> (Lily)

<Alright.> (Mr. Taylor)

"Ask your questions." (Luis)

"I will, you said you killed someone what were the circumstances behind it?"

That first question was just a series of questions that were to come. By the end of it, they knew just about everything. They knew about my promise to Tara, her imminent death and my promise to get revenge. The small things I first did when I became a vigilante, me trying to follow the drug cargo. My running in with the "Nyc vigilantes," my first encounter with the Bounty hunter and how I killed my first person.

What I learned about the Bloody crips leader. The Crimson NIght's downfall, the chaos that ensued the city after we destroyed Crimson NIght. The raid on the Bloody Crips building, the fact that I killed Jefe, and how I ended up following Argus eventually fighting him. All down to how I ate myself just so I could escape the cell as well as risking my arm to get out of the place.

By the time we had ended the atmosphere was different. Both of them wore a complicated expression not knowing what to say to what I had told them. Especially that telepathy girl, she could probably see every emotion and every image that I had in my head as I answered their questions.

Well, it's their fault for asking. So now that they are done with the questioning, what exactly will they do?

"Do you have any more questions? or are we done with this ?" I say with a straight face. I have already told them everything they need to know, everything else is up to them. We stand there quiet for a while, he just examines my face.

"...No, we're done here. Let's go, Lily. Here your bracelet." He puts my bracelet on my right wrist.

They both take their stuff and leave. I wonder what will happen to me now? Will I be kept here all the time? Will I be forced to join them? Or will they deem me too dangerous and just decide to kill me before it's too late.

I sigh... I at least don't want to die. It's nothing to do with wanting to retain what little life I have, I just want to kill Argus, I don't care if they decide to kill me. I sigh again... Well, I can't do anything trapped in here

______________________________________________________

Lily and Mr. Taylor are walking down the hallway. They had just finished interrogating a prisoner who had given them quite the shock. They were both quiet until Lily decided to speak.

"What do you think will happen to that kid." (Lily)

"That kid has a name Lily, his name is Luis... Quite frankly, I'm not sure myself. As you have heard by his story he's definitely not a middle schooler who led a normal life. There are just too many unknowns, I'm not sure what will happen." (Mr. Taylor)

"...Um... I saw very perturbing images when he told his story. I could see his dying best friend on his arms. The first person he's killed, a room full of corpses. It was quite terrifying, I don't know how he deals with something like that," Lily says with a hint of pity on her voice.

"...That kid has probably more than most adults have, the only way for him to enter facilities is by having the upper echelon do it themselves. He was forced to grow up based on his environment, so the kids around him may come off to him as too nonchalant or stupid. The best way to get him in the training facility would be by emphasizing his massive amount of magic power you girls say he has... I can't say for sure though."

Lily sighs.

<Looks like he's been through a lot despite being just 13 years old.>

With the two struggling interrogators and the sound of an empty hallway. They proceeded back to the main office where they will report their findings. No one really knows what happened during the meeting. It is only known that after 7 hours of debating on both the positive and negatives of what would happen to the 14-year-old. A verdict was reached and issued.

I just wrote a summary of the series thus far, it sounds so simple. I'll be honest though, this chapter does set some things up but it was extended cause I have some stalling to do since I want to start at the actual volume when I feel confident and I have enough of a setup. Well, these next few chapters will just be me setting things up, giving some obvious problems and some hints to some problems. It might be boring to some, so I don't blame you if you drop this series.
