Escaping

Alright, I guess I should start. I get off the bed and start doing push-ups as fiercely as I can while focusing on the inside of my body. The circulation slowly starts to speed up and so does the distribution of nutrients, proteins, and minerals.

I slowly start hurting all over. A slight headache with an extreme stomachache. But I can't stop! I have to keep going. I keep on doing pushups while feeling my body eating up every single nutrient I give it. At this point, my body feels like it's pulsing all over. My head is pounding and my stomach feels as if it's being squeezed from the inside.

I have to, keep on going until. Finally, all the nutrients are consumed. I fall down on the floor... I can't stay here... I slowly struggle onto the bed. I start coughing, if I am on the floor for too long they'll suspect something. I'm basically immobile now. I feel some of my hormonal systems shut down. I wasn't prepared for this amount of pain, I can barely keep myself conscious. But I have to!

I grip my right hand and close into a tight fist so I don't lose my consciousness. Let it begin! My stomach starts releasing acids in order to break down itself. Using my own body tissue and fat to break down.

"Ahhh!"

I start breathing rapidly. I keep on examining how my body eats itself. Alright! that's enough! I start healing the parts that were eaten. I keep on breathing heavily and calm myself down. The food arrives from the small door again...Perfect timing. NO, I HAVE TO RESIST!

"FUCK!"

I start making my body eat itself while healing itself. I don't faint but the process is so painful that I wish I were dead. After about 10 minutes of complete torture, I'm completely full of energy. I start laughing.

"I did it," I say while breathing heavily. I check my mana reserves, still have plenty of mana left. That didn't take much mana to use, but it definitely took a lot of mental strength.

I stand up and quickly devour the food. Even if my body is full of energy it doesn't change the fact that I feel hungry, but I'll store all of this energy, I'm already ok. I'm glad that the poison is there too. Finally a feast!

After I'm done eating and storing some of the energy I move onto the next face. Alright, I'm finally completely able to move my body. Now, this door. I'll have one try and one try only. I know for sure that they are monitoring me. Alright...what if I charge my attack.

That may work, just in case I'll also disregard protecting my arm in order to add power. I go as far away from the door as I can, and change the place where my black bracelet is.

Alright, all I need is my right hand and left foot to get as much mana as they can hold. I take a running stance with my left foot up front and my right arm behind my body. I start accumulating as much mana as I can on both. I change the mana on my right hand to fire and wind magic as well as some enhancement, and my right leg is just enhanced with magic.

After charging as much as I could, I go off faster than I ever had before towards the door. I punch the door as hard as I can creating a hold that is 2 meters in diameter. I go straight through. I start checking how my body is, my leg is okay but the main problem is my right arm, all of my bones have fractures and there's some riped tendon and muscles. I'm bleeding from some places even though there's no wound.

I gotta leave quickly, that punch created an extremely big noise. I'll focus on healing for my leg so I can run and I'll numb my right arm as much as I can and once I finish my leg I'll start with my arm. I do that as I pass through the whole. I finally can expand my sensing range. Holy fuck, this place is big. An alarm starts to sound. I gotta get out of here quick!

I pick a random direction and start running towards it. I don't know where I am and this place has an extensive amount of hallways. I get to an elevator. Fuck, it needs a key card. How do I get out of here?! I expand my sensing radius, where' the emergency staircase?

FOund it! I run towards it and get to it. I sense people coming from the elevator, I gotta get there quick. Fuck, another keycard, there has to be another way in! I expand my searching radius, there's a vent behind me that will lead to it. I jump up to the vent and hit away its protection with my left hand.

I enter with air-step, fuck this hurts my right arm! I slowly pass while hiding my presence as much as I can until I arrive at the staircase. I hit the protection off and go down. Now, do I go up or down? I can't sense the outside but if I go by process of elimination. I say up.

If I go up, even if we're above ground I can jump off and If we're below then I would be leaving. I start going up the stairs while using fatigue relieving magic, boy am I glad I stored the energy from the meal before. I keep on going up until I sense a presence coming down. Fuck! If I remember correctly, her name was Lily. I stop at the floor I am at and open the door.

She's problematic, I feel as if she can see through me. There's something about her that makes me doubt being near her. I go in and keep on running. I have to find another set of emergency staircases. I keep on running around until I sense someone around.

His door is open and he's sitting alone. He could be the perfect hostage! I run in and see a man that looks to be in his Forties with black hair and eyes. I enter and grab him.

"Woah, what are you doing."

"Taking a hostage, what else."

"I see, so you escaped out of that cell, did you."

I sense Lily stop on this floor, what the hell kind of sensing range is that?!

"...That's right, now. Why don't you come with me for a second." I say as I grab him by the neck.

"Why would I?"

"Because of this," I say as I start burning his throat with fire magic.

"Please, you wouldn't kill me. You're just a teenager, you don't have the guts to"

"Then clearly you haven't done your research mister," I say coldly and start pulling him.

"..."

"You don't have anymore comeback do you now?" I say as we go outside the door

"Why are you trying to kill me anyway?"

"Could you cut the acting crap!"

"I see, so you escaped out of that cell, did you."

I sense Lily stop on this floor, what the hell kind of sensing range is that?!

"I'm not though, I'm just a U.S. military official, nothing more, nothing else."

"And your proof is?"

"Look inside my room."

I look to see that there's a U.S. flag.

"So what, anyone could simply put that flag anywhere," I say as we head on the opposite direction Lily is coming.

I grab him by the arm or else it would too annoying to run.

"True enough, then would you like to know what this facility is?"

"Do tell."

"It's the Magical Soldier Management Branch from the U.S military."

"That's nice to know."

Lily slowly gains on us, It looks like I'll have to use the hostage card in a little bit.

"Here, let's enter this room, I can show you that I'm not lying, he says as he stops running.

"What the hell are you doing?" I say as I start my flame.

"I'll show you that we're not who you think we are. It doesn't matter how slow or how fastly you get out of here. You grabbed a hostage knowing that you wouldn't be fast enough anyways in order to get out of here right? If not, you would've left me be and run by yourself, what does checking this room do to your plans?" He says as he opens the room.

...What he's saying makes sense, but what if that room is a trap? I don't sense anything dangerous inside... Fuck, this idiot probably won't run even if I force him. He was able to keep awareness of mind in this situation, I can't exactly knock him out and carry him because of the state my right arm is in... SHIT!!

"I'll humor you."

"Atta boy."

With those words, we entered the room.
