3 New Life (2)

I inwardly gulped as I stare towards Yuria. 'Man, I just barely started, and it's already game over.' I tried to return her greetings for fear of her displeasure, but a commanding presence behind me made me swallow my words.

"What the hell are you standing for? Go and find your seat."

I hurriedly apologized and went to my seat. With that, the first son of the Patriarch, Melchior, made his entrance. 'Damn, this is something else. Most of the major villains of ArchNemesis are here.' Yuria, Soel, Melchior, back when I'm still working at the black company, the forum for the novel of the ArchNemesis hailed them as the Demon Lords of Lumeria.

'Potential, Talent, Power, Wealth, Looks, lastly, Charisma. Haha, they're all talented,' I dejectedly retorted inside and closed my eyes. As for the rest of my siblings, they're indeed geniuses in their own rights, but Melchior and the other two are too bright that just existing alone is enough to overshadow their competitors/siblings. 'It's funny that the only exception is Creed. His face alone is so attractive to the point that he got dedicated fangirls even though he's just a minor villain.'

While I was busy contemplating, Lidusis, the current Patriarch of Lumeria, finally appeared. The maids and butlers around us calmly bowed and waited for the order of the Patriarch.

"Arise"

With that, the maids and co went to busy their hands and served us.

The served food was said to be delicious by the author because of the high standard of the household, as for whether it's true or not-

'I'll assess it.'

I casually picked the nearest food to me, and the moment the food went inside of my mouth, for every bite, I could feel the harmonious blend of texture, taste, and ingredients conducted by the masterful skill of the chef. 'Ah, this is heaven.' I blissfully savored the feast. After the sumptuous dinner, the Patriarch suddenly dropped a bomb-like statement.

"It is time to test your aptitudes once again."

The announcement of the Patriarch is like a death sentence for me. Honestly, even if I flop at the aptitude test, nothing noteworthy will happen. After all, they already knew Creed's talent. The problem is I'm Ji-Hu and-

'I don't know how to use magic at all!'

Yes, being average in talent and not being able to use magic is different altogether. I'm just an ordinary person before transmigrating and, for what I did for the past month, I trained with my sword moderately so as not to ruin Creed's image to the family. After all, they might grow suspicious of my sudden changes. There's no saying to what my insane siblings can do once they learned my secret. As for the magic, I did what the author said in the novel, but the result is horrible.

Yes, I can't sense a thing, whether essence, which is necessary to utilize my Qi, or Magia used for alchemy, magitek engineering, and magic. I went from an average talented youth to an ordinary peasant. Being able to harness Qi and Magia is akin to being of noble's status. If they discover that I lost both of them-

'I'm done for.'
