I am the Mocking bird
For I alone am the mocking bird I come from the trees and the brush.
I come from the nightmares in your slumber
I hide in your darkest corners and deepest holes
For myself alone mocks the trees and the birds that dwell in them
For I alone mock the moon and the sky
For I alone mock the streets and the feet that dare walk upon them
For i mock the rise of dawn and the rising of the night
For there is no stopping the mocking bird or the tree for which it came
For which one bite made me rise among the depths
But do you watch the mocking bird or follow it songs of lies
That's for me and the mocking bird to decide
For I am the mocking bird
For my song will block out the light of day but you will be left in your own darkness
For you will not see the blood drip from your eyes
For when it does you will see my song
For you then will mock the moon and sky
Also the street and the feet that dare walk upon them
Your soul will be swallowed by a sea of blood were my song will not be forgotten
Your soul will cry a song like a siren through the wind
For your soul will be torn to pieces and fed to the crows that linger
For the blood that drips from your eyes will fill the sea and devour the fallen Angel's that come after you
For you will be just like me
For I am the mocking bird
