6 The Nightmare Mage Chapter 5: Blessings From The Goddess

After he said those words, his sister then said to Amelia.

" Mom, can i also join the tournament? "

" In that tournament, only males are allowed to join, as it was stated in the rules.

Amelia then suddenly look to Shio.

And they must be circumcised to enter there Shio. "

Shio then remembered that dreadful experience, when he was 10 years old.

At the age of 10, all males should be circumcise to get a power from the gods, or so called " blessing ". And all of the males were excited to get a blessing at that day.

But i, Shio Eloston, was so scared to get circumcise, the reason was, I'm too scared to get my foreskin cut off.

He then put me to sleep with a magic cast, and when i woke up, everything seems fine to me. I slowly open my eyes, and he said.

" Alright, its all done, you can now go to the Vivid Forest, and once your there, a statue of a goddess will grant you a power, once you close your eyes. "

After that, i just leave like nothing have happened, and when i approach my mom and my sister, i then said to them.

" I'm finally circumcise, i think I'm ready to get my blessings from the goddess. "

Alicia then said to Shio

" Did you ever feel the pain Shio? "

" I didn't even feel the pain nor anything. "

Amelia then said to Shio

" You should go now Shio, and take the blessing of the goddess, at the vivid forest. "

" Alright, i should go now. "

He then walk away while slowly fading, and Amelia and Alicia were looking on his back, Alicia then said to Amelia.

" I hope the goddess will bless Shio a cool power like mine, mom. "

" Don't worry Alicia, your little brother will be blessed, and he will become the protector of humanity. "

Alicia then doubt his mom last words.

" Protector of humanity, huh..... "

Shio was already familiar at the vivid forest place, and he know where it was, but unlike before, it wasn't crowded, but now, there are too many kids including girls.

The forest was surrounded with trees and hedges as i enter to it, and it was wide and beautiful, also, the water is just on a low level, and the statue of the goddess was place in the middle of it.

I saw one kid showing his power to his friends to impress them, after that, he's right hand generated a normal size fireball, while raising his right hand.

And, almost all of the kids there, are showing off there new power to each other, after that, i close my eyes as i enter in the forest, just like that guy said, the one who got me circumcise.

Its strange that i didn't feel anything nor something change, i did close my eyes for about 2 hours, and still, nothing have happened, and all of the kids there were gone as i open my eyes.

I was so sad and dissapointed, that nothing happened, and i just stood there like a complete idiot, and i was so sad that i cried a lot.

I returned to the kingdom after that, and entered to my royal room, and started crying like a complete faggot.

I didn't tell anyone that i didn't receive any blessings from the goddess, and my mother and sister didn't also ask what power i got from the goddess.

Once you receive your blessings from the goddess, its up to you if you will hide it, or show it to them.

Until now, i still didn't receive the blessings from the goddess, and i keep coming back from the vivid forest every day just to close my eyes, and Its been 16 years i been doing that.

And on this day, i give up going there, hoping that, the goddess will bless me a power. And i then knock to my sister room and approach her, and said to her confidently when she opens the door.

" I wanna get stronger sis, teach me how to cast a magic and how to handle a sword properly. "

When i was facing my sister, she then pat me on the head and said.

" Your taller than me now, and approaching me so confidently, and back then, when you were a little kid, you can't even approach me with that face. "

My sister then walk away from the hallway and said

" Time flies so fast, and tomorrow the sun will rise again, right Shio? "

I then said.

" So, is that a yes sis? "

My sister then turns back and said to me.

" What are you waiting for?, let's go outside, and we will start our training there. "

I then walk along with my sister, until we get outside of the kingdom.
