3 Second Nightfall: The Letter

A new day has come, Yna wakes up early in the morning. Looking out at the window, she greeted the morning with a good smile though in the dusk, she's more comfortable rather than the dawn. As if in dusk unfolds the mystery of her soul yet it's incomplete.

"Good morning, Lizzy!" she immediately greeted her friend who's been working at the Crimson Mansion as one of its servant and they were also classmate in the same public school though.

"Yna, what are you doing here?" Lizzy surprisingly asked.

She just smiles at her. "Well, what a nice greetings." she answered before she picks up some choirs.

"Ah!" Lizzy slaps her own forehead. "Really? Are you that too naïve or you're just a total idiot?"

Yna didn't respond to her tantrums instead she continues to do her choirs yet Lizzy heavily sighs and stops her doing. "What now?" she asked as she stops too and looks back at her.

"You're lying with me."

"What?"

"I heard from Nana Ciello that this coming school year, you'll be transfer at the exclusive school where Lady Jessica attending too." Yna chooses not to answer it since that she's not fully decided if she'll accept the transfer or not. "So, not yet decided." Lizzy said in fact. "I just want to warn you, that place isn't as normal as where you're attending to and I knew you know that already. That's why you should think about it more, because it won't be easy once you get in to it," Lizzy seriously stated.

Lizzy's words echoed through her mind and Yna knew she was telling the truth yet having the name of one of the famous and well known family at the town, she don't have a choice but to fulfill her duty for this family. Even though Jessica and Jenica, Mateo's wife, is against to it she still hopes that soon they'll finally accept her.

"Yna," it was her Nanny that took her attention.

"Yes?"

"Your father was looking for you and his waiting at the green house." she said.

She takes a deep breathe. "I'll go now, thanks Nana!" she answered with a smile before going at the green house.

As Yna approaches the Green House, she remembered the night that they've talk and gave the gift that will uncover her true identity although she hasn't been open it, she still don't know what was the content of the letter that she had. Beside the courage that she had isn't enough to finally know the truth about her.

"Dad," she called out after entering the Green House.

Mateo stands up and left its doing. "I'm glad you were here." He said. "Have a sit!" he offers.

"Thanks!" and went at the chair facing her father and they sited both. "What is it again, Dad?"

Mateo sighs. "Well, I knew you still didn't read it and I'm glad you didn't."

"Why?" she asked in confused.

"Because of this," then handed her an envelope the same as the first one that she already had.

"Wha-what is this?" she asked as her heart grip tightly just seeing it.

"I know you're confused, having two letters at the same time yet this one had a problem."

"A problem?"

"Yes. A magical seal, an ancient one." he answered. "And that's the problem. I try to asked help from the oldest Witches and Sorcerers but no one can open it. That only means whatever or whoever did that, they were protecting something very important that only you can open."

'Who am I? Where are my parents? And who left me behind?' Yna asked herself as she intently staring at the two envelops that she received from Mateo. Yet, the answers that she was looking were hidden in one of those letters. The fear and anxiety embraces her that made her to doubt if she wanted to open and read it or just let it go and forget whatever it is. Although, she knew to herself that it will bug her for her entire life, so she finally decided to open it and read it at once.

-The letter-

'To our dearest daughter Yna,

We know you had too many questions that you've wanted to get an answer. From these two letters that you've received before your birthday, the second one has all the answer you've wanted to know. Although that one has an ancient sealed. Protected by the most powerful Sage in the ancient times and was given a key to open it. The key is you.

From the deepest of your soul, there's a hidden truth like a 'Pandora's box' where your entire memories kept to be Awaken when the right time comes. The truth of who you are, the truth behind all these happenings, though, as your Awakening comes in, allies and foes will begin to emerge and to seek the rightful allies by using the ring on your necklace. We know this information will cause you more turmoil yet this is your destiny in the beginning. For now, you shall wait till the right time comes. On your sixteenth birthday, the truth will be told and everything will be clearer as soon as your memories will come back.

After reading the letter, as what the letter told her, more questions comes out from her mind and even more. The name that they've called her rings to her ears yet she couldn't recall that name that gives her much pain.

"Ahhh!" she suddenly feel the pain through her heart, as if something grips it so tightly and now she's breathless. "Re-Relyna…" she speak out her name then unfamiliar language suddenly flows out from her lips. "Tu nombre es nuestra única conexión del pasado que aún necesitamos despertar. Mi Relyna." she said before everything turns to dark.
