9 First Day

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! Alice stands in front of Adam's door for a couple of minutes while knocking on his door as hard as she can, Adam moved around on his bed and slowly opened his eyes staring at the white roof of his bedroom.

He sits upon his bed and looked towards the watch on his right hand that showed eight in the morning, Adam turned his head towards his opened bedroom door as he heard a couple more knocking that came from outside of his room "What is going on?"

Adam jumped out from his bed and grabbed his mask that was sitting on a table beside his bed, he slowly walked out of his room while he puts the mask on the nape of his neck that quickly covered his head with his lion mask.

Adam stands in front of the entrance door of his apartment and looked into the golden peephole, he saw Alice standing right in front of his door while knocking on it with her right hand "Oh it's Alice."

Adam quickly opened the door and looked towards Alice who stopped her hand as she was about to knock on Adam's head, Adam smiled while Alice puts her hand down and greeted her "Good morning Alice."

"Good morning, please get dressed with your game set of clothes that was on your bed yesterday because we will go on a tour around the important place in the Kingdom." Alice greeted Adam with a wide smile on her face.

"So that set of clothes is called the game set of clothes okay, that's cool. And a tour? Okay just give me two minutes and I'll be ready." Adam ran back to his bedroom and quickly closed the door behind him while grabbing his game set of clothes that were hanging on his door.

Adam walked out from his room wearing his game set of clothes and looked towards Alice who is sitting on the sofa in his living room "They got all of the clothes to size perfectly it's amazing but kinda weird."

"Okay let's go but there's one thing I have to tell you before we go on the tour, I have received the code that the system has given you and your code is Lion," Alice explained as she walked towards Adam.

"Lion that's amazing okay let's go Alice let's walk around the Kingdom this is going to be fun I'm really interested in what the Kingdom has to offer." Adam smiled as he walked towards the entrance of his apartment door with Alice right behind him.

Alice and Adam slowly walked following a stone path down the steep hill as they went out of their apartment building, Adam looked towards Alice while both of them took a left turn as they reached the bottom of the hill "So what are the places that were going on today's tour?"

"I will be showing you the most important places for the contestants in the Kingdom and we will be exploring Downtown-D first. Just like what I explained to you yesterday there are eighteen Downtowns throughout the Kingdom and all of them are very large cities that are dedicated as the living area for almost everyone in the Kingdom but we won't explore all of them today because all of them are a replica of each other with minor unimportant differences on each of them." Alice explained as she looked towards Adam who nodded while they went across the street.

"Now I will bring you to the most important places that contestants should know here in downtown. For example, the places where you buy weapons, drugs, clothing, and many more," Alice said as both of them took a left turn and entered a wide alleyway.

"The first place that we're going to today is called the weapon alley," Alice said as both of them took a right turn and entered a busy, crowded, and hot alleyway that has large opened stores on its sides.

Alice slowly walked through the large crowd of people inside the small alleyway with Adam right behind her who is looking around the alleyway towards the shops that have large tables in front of their shop that displays rows of weapons that have a different type, length, shape, and color.

Adam saw large burning furnaces on the back of every single shop in the alleyway that has most of their stone brick charred black showing how long they have been burning with large anvils right in front of them that have some workers in front of it swinging their large hammer to a bright red metal that was in a shape that almost looked like a curved sword.

"Now this weapon street actually won the best weapon alley in the Kingdom fifteen years straight, so every shop in this alleyway is the best out of the best weapon shops in the Kingdom," Emma explained as she looked towards Adam who quickly looked towards her.

"Most of these stores are very generous to contestants, usually they always gave new contestants discounts when you buy your first items and they will give you more discounts if they love your performance on the games," Alice added as she winked towards Adam.

"Hey Alice I got a question, I noticed this at the train station yesterday, when we walked around the town and right now. Why is there no one here that wears a mask as I do?" Adam asked as he walked past a couple of people and stands on Alice's right side.

"Well think of the Kindom as another world on this planet, the Kingdom is their world they were born and raised here so why do they need to cover their identity? The only ones that need to cover their faces are the contestants and some people that live here." Alice explained and smiled towards Adam.

"Oi Karina, introduced me to the new contestant maybe he will like my weapons here." A tan drum belly man who was wearing a white long sleeves shirt with a red vest on top of it waved towards Alice who slowly walked towards the shop with Adam right behind her.

"His name is Lion and he changed my name to Alice so call me Alice from now on okay Baldur?" Alice smiled as she stands right in front of a large wooden table that has rows of shiny weapons.

"Oh ho ho, that's a very bold move young lad, my name is Baldur Brotos but, you can just call me Baldur I'll give you a fifty percent discount on your first purchase here because I like your boldness." Baldur smiled as he pointed towards the rows of blades in front of him.

"Wow these knives look amazing, they're beautiful," Adam exclaimed as he took a black butterfly knife that has shiny dark purple blades and a black handle that sparkles as the bright sunlight hits it.

"Baldur here is the best weapon smith in the entire Kingdom, he can make any weapon that you want but his items are very very pricey," Alice explained as she looked towards Baldur who laughed.

"Well, all of my items are the best out of the best that you can get here and they're not that expensive would you like to buy that one Lion? I'll give you an extra ten percent discount if you buy something here right now." Baldur smirked as he looked towards Adam.

"Thank you, Baldur but we have a long day ahead of us, so he doesn't have any time to buy your weapons. Maybe another time? See ya Baldur!" Alice smiled as she pulled Adam's who quickly dropped the butterfly knife to the table and walked away from the shop

"Okay the extras ten percent discount if off but the fifty perfect is still on so come back anytime my store opened from six in the morning until eleven at night! See ya, Lion!" Baldur shouted while waving towards Adam who waved backed to Baldur.
