14 Black Small Building

The rabbit masked girl took out her right hand from her jeans pocket and waved towards Adam who quickly waved back as two shiny silver trains arrived at the two train platforms.

Adam and Alice entered the slightly crowded train and sat down on the two chairs that were right beside the entrance door, Adam leaned back to the chair as the train doors closed on their own and the train starts moving "Well that was weird, so where are we going to next Alice?"

"We have visited most of the important places that a contestant should know we can't visit the place where you can buy drugs today because they're being renovated right now, which means there are no more places that we have to visit today so we can do anything you want for the rest of the day," Alice explained and looked towards Adam who was looking towards her.

"So what do you want to do Lion? Do you want to go back to the weapon alley? They're still open right now, they should be less crowded this time so you can take an easier look towards the weapons." Alice said as Adam looked towards the roof of the train while stroking his chin.

"Hmmm I can go back there some other time plus I only can see them I can't but any of them so there's no point for that, there's a lot of interesting places in Downtown-D that I want to see I think we could go around the town," Adam answered as the train stopped with Downtown-D written on the display.

"That's a great idea but before we walk around Downtown-D let's go back to the apartment I have a present for you," Alice said as she stands up and walked out from the train.

TING! The elevator doors opened up as Adam and Alice walked out from it, Alice quickly looked towards Adam as both of the stopped right in front of Adam's apartment door.

"Wait here for a couple of minutes Lion I have to get the present from my apartment," Alice said while looking towards Adam who nodded, she turned around and ran towards her room while taking out a bronze key that has a keychain with eighty-nine written on it.

Adam leaned back to the front door of his apartment and crossed both of his hands in front of his chest while looking towards Alice who entered her apartment.

Ten minutes passed by as Adam still leaning to his door while looking towards Alice's apartment, Alice's apartment door suddenly opened as Alice walked out of her apartment while holding a large black tablet with her right arm. She quickly ran towards Adam who stands up straight in front of his door while leaving her door opened wide "Sorry for making you wait my tablet was broken so I have to look for my other tablet."

Alice stopped right in front of Adam and quickly tapped her tablet a couple of times, she stopped as a barcode appeared on her tablet and looked towards Adam "Okay now give me your right hand Lion."

Adam extended his right arm towards Alice as she holds her tablet with her left hand, she grabbed Adam's right hand and pointed Adam's watch towards the barcode that was in the middle of her tablet.

Adam's watch suddenly shakes as a large blue bar appeared right in front of his eyes "You have received full access to the map from Karina #1223, to use your map just say map."

The bar disappeared on its own after a couple of seconds and Adam instantly looked towards Alice who turned off her tablet while smiling towards Adam "What does full access map mean?"

"Ful access map means that you can see all of the hidden important places for the contestants on the map, it won't show you everything right away but it will help you navigate around the Kingdom a little bit easier," Alice explained while hugging her tablet.

"Shouldn't the mask and watch already have that feature?" Adam asked.

"The normal map is already installed on your mask and your watch but it will only show the contestants the important places when they have explored the entirety of an area. Let's take Downtown for an example if a contestant has walked around the entire Downtown where they live in including every small alleyway in them then the normal map will show the hidden important places." Alice explained.

"The full access map will give you all of the places that a contestant can visit but it won't show you all of them right away, you still have to walk around to unlock those places but you don't have to walk the entire area it will show itself to you when you're close to it," Alice added.

"Wow thank you so much Alice but why did you give me this? Isn't this kind of unfair to the other contestants?" Adam asked.

"Well, there is no rule that told me that I can't give this to you and you were really nice to me so this is the least that I can do plus this is not cheating it's only a map with a slight change." Alice winked towards Adam.

"You are right if you think of it that way, thank you so much, Alice." Adam smiled at Alice.

"No problem Lion, now what do you want to do? Where do you want to go?" Alice asked with an excited face.

"Well I just got this amazing map and there's still time before I need to take a rest so I think I will explore Downtown-D," Adam answered as he puts both of his hands inside his jacket pockets.

"Alright then, let me put this back to my apartment and we can go around Downtown-D," Alice said as she slightly lifts the table that she was hugging.

Adam looked towards Alice and noticed that she looked tired as he quickly shook his head "Oh no you don't have to go with me I only want to walk around for a bit, see ya, Alice."

Adam waved towards Alice as he ran towards the elevator, Adam walked out of his apartment building and looked towards the sky that was dark but filled with bright stars "Wow that is an amazing night sky, now let's see how the map look like."

"Map," Adam said as a large blue tab appeared in front of his face showing a large map that has Kingdom written on the top right corner of it, the map was covered with a couple of pin-shaped arrows that have a tag on top of them.

"There's a lot of stuff to see here the kingdom is a really big place, I don't have that much time to look at all of this let's just see what's inside Downtown-D first." Adam stared at a part of the map that was labeled Downtown-D as it instantly zoomed in to it.

"Wow it showed everything on the path that I took today that is amazing, I should check all of this later I could probably find some interesting stores," Adam said while looking around the map that slowly moved around towards where he was staring at, the places that he has walked to was shining bright showing every single shop that he saw but the places that he hasn't walked to was dark as if it was covered by a dark transparent cloud.

Adam noticed a large red exclamation mark that was on top of a small building that was on the dark spot of the map that was near the weapon alley, Adam took a closer look towards it and scratched his head "What is that? Is it one of the hidden important places that Alice was talking about?"

"It's not that far away from here just a couple of meters away from the weapon alley, I should go there and check it out." Adam smiled as he ran down the side of the hill while following the map that minimized to the top right corner of his eye.

Adam walked pass the weapon alley that has a couple of dozens of people walking around it with some of the shops closed, he walked a couple of meters away from the weapon alley and stopped in front of a small one-way alley that has a couple of yellow lights on its left wall "This is it, that exclamation mark is at the end of this alley."

After a couple of minutes of walking through the small alley Adam noticed a small concrete staircase at the end of the alley, he quickly ran up the staircase and saw a wide and flat dirt ground that was surrounded by tall concrete walls that have a small two-floor wooden house which was painted in black "Is that an abandoned building?"

Adam slowly walked towards the house and saw that the front door of the house has a couple of wooden planks nailed to it, he notices a dim light came from the right side of the house and walked towards it.

Adam stopped right in front of a small concrete staircase that went downwards that have a bright red metal door at the end of it, he walked down the staircase as he saw a large white paper stuck to the door.

"Knock the door one time if you're a resident of the Kingdom, knock the door three times if you're a contestant for The King's Game." Adam reads the paper while standing right on top of a brown mat that has welcome written on it.

"Very interesting." Adam thought to himself as he knocked on the door exactly three times.

TING! A loud bell came from the floor under Adam as the light on top of the door turned off on its own, he quickly looked downwards as the floor under him suddenly opened in half to its sides and showed him a large pitch-black hole below it.

"WHAAATTTT?!" Adam shouted as he fell down the hole, fifteen seconds after Adam fell down the hole the floor came back up and the light turned back on its own.
