3 Welcome to New Gate

"Okay I have to go to New Gate, but how do i store the book?", after a some time he has a idea how to store the book. He starts to tear out pages from books laying on the ground and wraps the pages around his book. Then he gets some rope and hangs the book on his belt. After all this he opens the door and steps outside. As he steps out of door. He is blinded by the light. "The sun is too bright." he says to himself. Looking in the direction of the way, he can see the little town named New Gate in the horizon. "So this town way over there is New Gate huh? I wonder what i have to do there." he thinks to himself.

He begins following the path. On half the way he comes close to a crossroad, where he nearly got run over by a carriage. He hears someone scream at him:" Watch where you going scum!". A few moments after nearly getting run over he gets up and starts walking towards New Gate again.

After a while walking he hears growling out of the forest. Suddenly a pack of wolves jump out of the bushes and start attacking Yoru. One wolf bites him in the left arm and another one is jumping for his neck but Yoru attacks the wolf with a right hook. The wolf is send flying into a tree. Then he smashes his elbow on the back of the wolf who bite him and knocks him in the ground. He summons his scythe and decapitated one wolf. Right after that he jumped in front of the other wolf and just killed him with a combo of slashing attacks.

"So how can I absorb the souls of these wolves?", asks Yoru. Right in the moment Yoru asks himself this he sees green souls coming out of the corpses of the wolves, which fly at him and form one soul. The Soul is formed like a wolf cub and the soul started licking him like his dog in the other world. The book also started glowing brighter. As he took out the book it showed he has leveled up and is now level 2 every Stat rose by 1 point and he also got 2 stat points. He chose to put 1 stat point each in agility and strength.

Then something appeared there was written:" Choose 1 Skill". The Skills he could choose from, were:

1.Bloodlust: The enemy will get intimidated and will receive more damage.

2.Tough Stomach: It allows you to eat raw meat without any danger.

3.Wolf Claws: You can do a claw attack, by you turning your fingers into claws and it will inflict bleeding damage to the enemy.

Yoru thinks to himself:" What will I choose? Number 2 seems a little useless for me because I don't plan on eating raw meat. Number 1 and 3 are both good but I can only choose 1. I think I choose Number 1 because I don't plan on fighting with bare hands. Okay I pick Number 1." After that the Skill Bloodlust got added to his skill list.

He makes his way to the town but on the way he saw the carriage that nearly ran him over, but there where a few people surrounding the carriage and these people didn't look friendly. Yoru walked up to them put his hand on the shoulder of one and asked:" What are you doing here?" the one he put his hand on the shoulder answered:" We are robbing them obviously. Wait who the fuck are you?". As he turns around to swing his sword at Yoru, he summons his scythe and chop of his arm. He screams in pain and you ram the blade of the scythe in his chest and pull it out. The other bandits start attacking you, but they are pretty easy to handle besides 2. One of them seems to be a wizard and the other one seems to be the leader. As you want to attack the wizard he throws a lightning at you and the leader attacks you with his sword. Both attacks you only manage to barely dodge. The attack of the leader cut down 2 trees and the wizards attack left a hole in the ground. Yoru realizes that he can't win with his scythe. Then Yoru just screams:" Absorb!" both the wizard and the leader look at you confused, when the souls of the five dead bandits fly towards you. You Summon the little wolf cub and you form it into a bow with wolf design and form the souls of the bandits into spirit arrows. You start shooting at the wizard penetrating his hand which is stuck in a tree now. Then you shoot at the leader you hit him in his right shoulder and left knee. After that you shoot another arrow at the other hand of the wizard, which hit and is now stuck to another tree. You think:" Well good that I was the best in the archery club.",walking towards the leader and ask:" Why where you robbing the carriage?". The leader just spits in your face and then you cut of his head. After that you asked the wizard he didn't answer as well so you killed him too. Then he says:" Absorb." and absorbs the souls of the leader and wizard, but the soul from the leader was diffrent it was not green it was blue.

Then your book started glowing again in there was written again:" Choose 1 Skill:"

1.Lightning: You can throw lightining and entchant items with an lightning effect.

2.Aircut: You cut through the air to get more force and gain more reach.

Yoru thinks:" Both are really good and it's hard to choose, but I think that I choose Lightning because I need more reach and I can entchant things.

Yoru approaches the carriage. He hears voices from inside. He knocks on the door and asked:" Hello?". Someone from inside the carriage says:" Go away!". Yoru says:" Don't worry the bandits are gone, well they're still here, but they can't hurt you.". After that a girl around the age of Yoru opens the door and looks outside. She looks surprised but at the same time she looks a little bit scared. As you look at her closely you see that she is not normal she is in some aspects like you. She looks different with her long white hair, which she wears open and yellow glowing eyes but she has a symbol in her eyes as well it was the greek letter: alpha. As she steps outside she comes really close to you to inspect you. After while she takes a few and says:" Thank you for your help and how did you manage to take them down without a weapon?" Yoru answers:" I killed them with a weapon.",summoning his scythe. Luna sees the weapon and asks him if he wanted to go to the adventurer school too? Yoru just says:" Maybe." because he doesn't know what the adventurer school is. Then she says:" By the way my name is Luna."

After this short conversation he starts walking towards the city again. A bit later he sees the carriage passing by and entering the city. Now he arrived at the city too and the moment he steps through the city gate his begins to glow brighter again. He unwraps the book and takes a look inside there appear 3 things: A map of New Gate, a new quest: Enter the adventurer school and a text saying he leveled up. Yoru thinks to himself:" Looks like I have to enter the school."
