9 Ava True intention

Ava sighed as she knows that everything is about to hit the fan. Superman looked to Darkseid with a look that said are you going to interfere.

" Don't worry, I won't attack. I'm just wanting to see how my Champion, Omega girl will do against you." Darkseid said with a sickening grin. Ava looked at him, Which just adds another reason for her to finally kill him when the chance comes. Ava saw a helicopter in the sky.

" This is Alexander King reporting live from what used to be Metropolis, However, it had been destroyed as you can see. The responsible for this terrible act is the young woman who is about to face off against Superman, one has to wonder if the young woman with Darkseid." Alexander king said to the camera.

Superman and Wonder woman rushes at Ava. Unlike the other three, she blocked some of their attacks only for some of their attacks to land. Ava kick Wonder woman into Superman as she jumps away from them as she created three magic circle in the sky and three meteors came flying at both Superman and Wonder woman. However, she didn't expect to be attacked by Zatanna, Raven, and John. She heard Superman and Wonder woman stop the meteors and got rid of them.

" Ava, this is not going as plan." Kali said to her in her mind.

" Yeah, I know." Ava replied.

Gotham, in the Batcave

" Why did he tell me to stay here, I could've helped...Oh, Puddin going to hear it from me when he gets back." Harley said as she looks at the screen and watching the broadcast on what happens at Metropolis.

" Mrs. Wayne he just wanted you to be safe." Alfred said and Harley looked at him with a pouting look. Then she looks at the woman, She can't see the woman's true form because of her illusion magic, when she got to Earth she uses her Magic to conceal her appearance, She only shown her true self to Superman, Wonder woman, and Batman, and they help her to settle here on Earth as she works as a maid occasionally and she sometimes helps them out with anything dealing with magic. She has long black hair and crystal blue eyes, She also wore a suit that Batman made for her.

" What do you think about all of this Riya?" Harley asked.

Riya looked at the screen, unlike everyone else she doesn't see destruction, she still saw Metropolis. She looks at the two.

" Metropolis isn't destroyed, The city being shielded with an illusion barrier. This is high-level magic, the person who cast this spell must be exceptional with magic, but they must be really something if they can protect a city as big as Metropolis. On my planet, only three could cast a spell, like this and only two could have enough of power to cover a city that big." Riya said to them.

However, before she could say anything else the screen shows a beautiful young woman with black hair fighting against Superman, Wonder woman, Zatanna, Raven, and John. Riya's eyes widen as if she saw a ghost and tears begin to form in her eyes.

" Puddin, what wrong?" Harley asked Riya.

" That's my daughter, I got to go and stop them. If they keep attacking her, then she'll lose her concentration, and the Barrier will disappear leaving the city vulnerable to any attacks." Riya said and before Alfred or Harley could say anything else, Riya teleported.

"Awww, she could've taken me with her." Harley said while she looked at the spot the Riya was just a minute ago and once again pout as she flops into Batman's chair and watches the screen.

Back in Metropolis Ava is showing she is having a hard time against three magic-user and two powerhouses, her concentration is stretched pretty thin to the breaking point.

Ava was paying attention to the three magic users as Wonder woman came up and punches her and with the force of the punch it sent her flying toward a ruined building. Once Ava notices she was about to crash into the building, she did a flip in midair just in time for her feet to lightly touch the wall of the building.

" That was close." Kali told her

" I know, they are not making this easy." Ava said in her mind and she pushes off the wall and flies fastly toward Wonder woman and Superman, She spins her body around in midair as she kicks Wonder woman in the stomach causing her to fly away, and then with quick reflexes, her right leg touches the ground and she spins down low to sweep at Superman's legs as he tries to punches her, She beginning to adapt to theirs attacks, before Superman fall to the ground she kicks him away as well.

Before she could continue her assault she felt thick heavy chains wrap tightly around her. She saw Zatanna and before Raven and John could join in, Ava begins to flex her muscles as she tries to break the chains.

" Try all your might darling, but these chains are magically enhanced, so no matter how strong you are, you won't break it." Zatanna told her with a smirk, as Ava notices John creating a magic circle around her.

Ava smirk herself and Zatanna was curious why she was smirking. " Why are you smirking? We got you." Zatanna asked her.

" You know, I'm able to adapt to any situation, and because of that, I can also learn how to use powers and skills that are used against me. let me show you one." Ava answered her and she was able to move her left hand slightly as she touches the chains.

"Sniahc Tusr." Ava said and the silver chains begin to turn brown and begin to fall apart until they crumble into nothing freeing Ava. Zatanna was in disbelief that she could do that as well, before Ava could do anything else, She felt that she lost control of her body, and the next thing she knew she was in the white room in her mind, and with that, she lost consciousness. What she didn't realize is that the Martian Manhunter was there and he was invisible, waiting until he has a good opportunity to stop Ava.

Riya appears in front of Batman.

" You got to stop them, That young woman is my daughter Ava, She didn't destroy Metropolis, she protecting it." Riya pleaded to Batman.

" Calm down Riya, and explain." Batman said to her calmly.

" what you see is not real, She uses what is called an illusion barrier, It gives off an illusion that the caster wanted while the barrier protects, The barrier is made to keep out any life form whose blood is used to create the barrier, but it also needs the concentration of the caster to stay in effect." Riya told Batman, He looks at Darkseid and his people and sees that they still waiting patiently,

" She created that Barrier to keep out the inhabited of Apokolips, So if the barrier falls, then they'll attack." Batman said and he was about to tell the others to stop attacking Ava, However, he notices he was too late as he saw that the barrier crack and shatter like glass as it reveals the busy city of Metropolis, however the helicopter that had the news crew had already left. Darkseid then smile and gave the order to attack Metropolis and his Parademons and his furies begin the attacks. Superman was a bit surprised at the revealation of Metropolis okay, only for him to come back to his senses, he and the others went to protect Metropolis as he left J'onn to deal with Ava, he will get answers from her after all of this is over. The chains that held Power Girl, Supergirl, and Superboy finally disappear and they too went to protect Metropolis.

Batman contact watchtower to have the other Justice leagues help to them, and he contact the Batcave.

" Harley, we going to need your help. Riya is going to get you." Batman said

" Fine...But you better believe Puddin, that after this we will have a talk, and don't think you going to be sleeping in our bed tonight with me, you'll be on the couch." Harley replied angrily to him, and then she ends the communication.

"She's mad at me." Batman said to Riya.

" That's putting it mildly." Riya answered him.

" I'll make it up to her. Did you and your husband have any issues?" Batman asked and Riya only just smile and replied with " Just keep my daughter alive." and with that, she disappears.

" huh..so that what that feels like." He said and then he went to help with protecting Metropolis.

Kali rushes to Ava, as she was asleep on the throne. Kali tries to wake her, but she wouldn't wake up.

J'onn looked around the white room, as he saw the pods and the red door. However, Kali looks at him with a hateful glare.

Kali's eyes begin to glow red as a black aura surrounding her body The aura was as dark as the darkest part of space or as dark as a black hole.

"You don't belong here, and you're going to pay for what you did to Ava, I will mutilate anyone who harms her." Kali said to him, and then she flew at him. She went to attack but her attack only went through him and once she passed through he became solid again and grab her and threw her away from him. However, Kali ended up landed on her feet. She looks at him and the look could kill.

" I'm not here to hurt you, I only want answers, J'onn said.

" Maybe I'll give you the answer when I kick your ass." Kali said and the intensity of the glow of her eyes grow and the next thing J'onn knew she shot out laser, and at first he thought it was heat vision until the beam did something unexpected, They begin to curve and bend and move faster, as J'onn flies around the white room to avoid the beam.

"This is like Darkseid's Omega beam." J'onn thought to himself.

Kali smirk as the beams kept following him. "Not like, It's exactly is the Omega beam." She said to J'onn mind, which cause him to stop only for the beam to hit him in his right shoulder, which causes a burn wound and made him fall to the floor.

Kali walks over to him as she grabs him by his throat. Her glowing red eyes look him in his eyes, and then a smile form onto her lips.

"Ava is here, for multiple reasons. Darkseid is here to enslaved this planet and turn it into a new and powerful Apokolips. She wants to stop him, She also heard that there are beings like her on this planet that can help her get control over her powers, I assume it's you and the others, she also wanted to find her mother, and get away from Darkseid." Kali told him as she let go of him and her eyes turn back to blue and the black aura disappears, she then walked to Ava and she looks at her sleeping and she softly brushes some of her hair from her face and tucks it behind her ear in a loving manner.

J'onn watches her as his wound healed. He considers her behavior a bit strange.

" You must really care for her. So what are you? and how did you know what Darkseid was planning?" J'onn asked her.

Kali smiled as she turns to look back at him.

" I do, you might find this strange, but in honest truth, I'm in love with her, and a little bit obsessed with her, but I can't be with her in a way I would like, so I'll settle with being her protector and friend. What I am is that I am her, but then again I am not her. I guess to understand it, is that I am one of her personalities, but we are our own people. I love Ava because she's always there for me, no matter what even if I let her down. I would destroy a universe if it harms her, and as for Darkseid's plan, I don't really know what his plan is, I said that because it what I would do if I was in his place." Kali answers him.

" In a sense, it can be a strange notion. However, I can understand how it feels to want to be with someone you can't. Who is Ava's mother?" he asked.

" Riya"

" Oh, I know her. After we stop Darkseid, I will take Ava to her. One more question, those powers you used, is it because you gain them through your adaptability, or are you and her Darkseid's Daughter?" J'onn asked, Kali seen Ava begin to stir, and then she smiles at J'onn.

" Sorry, your time here is up." Kali said and with a snap of her fingers, J'onn was expelled from her mind and Ava was waking up and notice she was on the ground. She also noticing J'onn as well, and then she heard an explosion, and she saw that Metropolis is being attacked.

"So this is happening now, well let's go and clean this mess up." Ava said to J'onn and they flew off to Metropolis.
