4 Ava Sennilia-El

A week later

Victoria arrives in front of a cottage that sits on top of a cliff that overlooks the Village. The front yard of the cottage is filled with many different types of flowers. Floating beside her is a pod that held the sleeping baby.

Victoria walked up the walkway to the door as the pod follows her, and she knocked on the door. She waited and the door open, A tall muscular Arian man stood there.

He has a long scar on the left side of his face. His hair is short, almost like an army haircut, he wore a white tunic that is similar to ancient greek, brown leather pants, and sandals.

"Victoria." He said with a bit of irritation in his voice. Victoria looked at him with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.

"Hello Albus, so I see you're still mad at me, May I come in, I promise it just only business no tricks, no trying to sneak a kiss to that beautiful wife of yours." Victoria said as she loves to get a rise out of Albus.

Albus looked at her with annoyance, then he moves away from the door.

Victoria walks by him as her tail playfully rubs against him, as she sways her hips, to try to get his attention to a certain part of her body, which he does glance at it, which it does irritate him, as he knew Victoria would do this and of course he'll fall for her little games.

The pod follows behind her as they head to the sitting room, while Albus closed to the door and follows her.

Victoria's tail wraps around her waist as she sits in a chair and the pod float beside her, while she looks at Albus.

" You enjoy agitating me don't you?." Albus asked her and he sits down in a chair across from her.

" Well, you are cute when you get mad, after all, I do miss our time together, Albus." Victoria said with a wink.

"So, Where's Riya. I got a wonderful gift for you two." Victoria said to him as she softly places her hand on the pod.

Albus stood up and walk to the door that leads to the kitchen. "Let me go get her then." Albus said as he walks into the kitchen.

"Always the short response, Maybe you can get more out of him kid. You're a great gift to two of the most wonderful people I know." Victoria whispers to the pod.

Albus and a beautiful woman walk into the room, her hair is long and black and her crystal blue eyes look at Victoria and she smiles.

She wore a white ancient Greek-style dress and golden sandals. Riya and Albus sat down across from Victoria.

" It nice to see you again Victoria, what do we owe for this pleasant visit?" Riya asked her.

" Well, I'm thought I say goodbye. I have to leave the planet to fulfill an order for a client, but I thought I'll give you a gift." Victoria told her.

"How long will you be gone?" Riya asked her.

"I'm going to guess that it won't take long, maybe five years at the most. So, how about you open your gift." Victoria sends the pod to them.

The pod stopped in front of them and both Riya and Albus looked at each other, before pressing a button on the pod. The pod opens to reveal a beautiful sleeping baby, with black hair.

"What is this about Victoria?" Albus asked.

"This is a baby Kryptonian her name is Ava Sennilia-El. She needs a good family and a safe place to grow. This child is special, The mother can't be with her. So I thought since this child can not be with her mother and you two can't have any children, I believe you would be wonderful parents to this child." Victoria said to Albus.

Riya looks at the baby and she automatically fell in love with the child. Albus look at Victoria and then at his wife and see how she was looking at the child, he knew she got attached to the child upon first look.

He looked at the child and he wanted to object, not because he didn't want the baby but he worried for the baby, because she's looked nothing like an Arian, he knows she won't fit in, but he couldn't say no to his wife, and the longer he looked at the baby and his facial expression soften.

He has this strong feeling of wanting to protect this baby. Victoria watches them especially Albus.

"So would you two like to raise her as your own?" Victoria asked.

"Yes, She so beautiful, Victoria." Riya said as she couldn't take her eyes off of her.

" Great, also in another compartment there some recordings for her when she becomes older, that her mother recorded for her." Victoria said as she stood up and walk over to Ava as she looks at her.

She leans down and places a soft kiss on Ava's forehead. "My last gift to you, my little monkey, A little bit of extra adaptability, I have a feeling it becomes a big help for you." Victoria whispers to Ava.

Victoria straightens back up and looks at Riya and Albus. "I would like to stay longer, but my client is waiting. I'll see myself out, why don't you get to know Ava." Victoria said and she bid them goodbye as she left.

Riya picks up the baby and held her.

ten years later.

A ten-year-old Ava sitting in the middle of a clearing of a small patch of woods as she was meditating. Her long black hair is pulled back in a ponytail and she wore a white tunic with black pants and sandals.

Albus stood on a pole watching his daughter. He was surprised at how fast his daughter picks up on magic. Ava's eyes open to reveal blue eyes and she look up at her father.

" So Ava, had you become one with magic?" Albus asked her. Ava gave off a mischievous smile and she snaps her fingers as a flower crown appears on Albus's head. "Nice, but is that it?" Albus said with a smirk.

Ava looks at him with a bored look as she holds her hand up at him palm facing him as black lighting shot out flying at Albus and before it hit him he disappears to reappear behind her.

"Very good, it won't be long til you would even outdo me. How about we go to the village and get you a violo?" Albus said as he took the flower crown and place it on Ava's head.

He took her magical training seriously, but he also likes spoiling her. Ava's eyes widen at the mention of her favorite snack. he runs up to hug him. "Yes, Father!" She said excitedly.

" Ok, just don't let your Mother know." Albus told her as he hugs her back and he teleports them to the village. The village is beautiful, the houses, stores, temples all built in the same way as the ancient greek.

Albus and Ava made their way to one of the stalls to get a violo for Ava.

"Look there Albus and that abomination, whatever posses Albus and Riya to take her in, she's not even an Arian." someone whisper as Ava stop to look around, but she couldn't see anybody talking, what was said made her feel sad until she saw a group of children playing.

"Father, can I go and play?" Ava asked him, Albus stop and look at her and at the group of children playing, he hesitated at first, and then he agreed to it.

"Be careful, Ava." Albus said and he walks off to buy Ava a treat.

Ava smiles and goes over to the other children. "Hey, do you mind if I can play?" Ava asked and they all look at her with a bit of disgust.

" sure, you can play." Said one of the kids as he threw the disc. "Better go catch it before it touches the ground, if it does you're out." The kid said as Ava's eyes fix onto the disc.

Her body always felt like it overcharges, like unlimited energy and power run through her body. She put herself into a running position, and when she pushes off on her left foot dug into the brick road and when she pushes off bricks and dirt fly up behind her as she was gone in a flash, no one couldn't see her, but to her, it was like time had stopped.

She saw the disc as she caught it, but she couldn't stop herself and she crashes into the stone collum at the village entrance, knocking them down as the rubble fell on her.

after that, it seems like time resumes as everybody looks at the destruction but no one bothers to see if she was okay. Albus came running over to the rubble with a scared looked on his face, but before he uses his magic to save his daughter, the rubble begins to move as stone and rocks begin to shift and fall off the pile until they could see Ava holding up a big slab of stone as if it was nothing in her left hand as her right hand held the disc.

Ava set the stone slab down, while Albus look at her in shock and he was a bit impress, but the villagers were scared of her. Ava took the disc to the children and handed it to them.

"I caught it." Ava said, but instead of taking the disc the children ran off screaming, Ava watches them run off, and then all of a sudden the flood of whispers started as she grabs her head from the pain and the noises the multiple hurtful words like a monster, or demon and many other as she falls onto her knees begging for them to stop as she begins to cry from the pain.

Albus run to his daughter and put his arms around her. "Ava, what wrong?" Albus asked her in a worried tone. "The whispers, they won't stop, they're saying such mean and hurtful thing." Ava said as her tears kept falling onto the ground.

Albus looked around the village and sure enough, he sees their lips moving but couldn't hear anything. Albus stood up as he held his left hand at his daughter his palm facing her as a green bubble appears around her.

Suddenly the whispers and the hateful comments stop and Ava looks up to see her father and the expression on his face is one she has never seen before. Ava saw her father mad before, but this goes beyond that.

" I'm disgusted with this village. Every one of you treats her wrong because she's different. You scared of her because of her powers, you scared of her and hate her because her magic is strong and she can outdo most if not all adults. I have never seen a child who works so hard as she does. Every time she comes to this village she's always been respectful and nice to everyone. Despite your hateful attitude.

If this how you treat my daughter, then I think I should stop protecting this village, maybe I should take down my barriers and allow the Zurots, the Nacinae, the Razworm, and every other creature to attack this place." Albus said to the villagers as they look at him scared and even some of them beg him not to do it, that they apologize.

Ava stood quietly as she watches her father in the bubble as she couldn't hear what is going on. Albus turns his back and look at the rubble and he snaps his fingers as the village entrance was fixed as if nothing happened, he looks at his daughter and smile as he pops the bubble and he picks her up, Ava's arms wrap around his neck and she lay her head on one of his shoulders, and he teleported out of the village back home.

Albus put Ava down and he sits on a tree stump to be at eye level with her. She looks at him her eyes seem like they're on the verge of tears.

" Father, a..am I a monster?" Ava asked him in a quivering voice. Albus looked at her and he handed her the treat he bought her which look like a purple candy apple wrapped in a clear film of plastic.

" Now little one, would I give a treat to a monster? You are no more a monster than I am, don't pay attention to the villagers, you are very special, now let me see that smile." Albus told her and Ava was feeling better by his words as she smiles and gave her father a hug.

She pulled back as she made her treat disappear, as she was going to save it for later.

"Now let go in before your mother gets worried." Albus told her as they walk to the front door.

Later that night, after Riya put Ava to bed, she met with Albus in the sitting room. Albus told her that they needed to talk later, he didn't even try to whisper it because he knew Ava would hear it anyway. Riya sits beside her husband.

"So what do you need to talk to me about my love?" Riya asked, and so he told her the events that took place in the village. Riya looked at him in shock. "The poor child, but I didn't know her race has powers, maybe it's time we tell her the truth, Albus." Riya said and he nodded in agreement.

"I also want to try to teach her how to fully control her powers, I'll build her a training area, and I also will see if Victoria wants to help out. She seems to know more about her race." Albus told her.

"I'll help you build it. " Riya said as they both walked outside to build Ava's obstacle course.

The next day Ava woke up, and prepare herself for the day after she was done she went to the kitchen to see her Mother and Father at the table with breakfast. Ava sat down and begin to eat her food.

"Ava, before we start training, your mother and I need to talk with you, Ava." Albus told her, Ava blinks as she nodded and they continue their breakfast. Once breakfast was over they move to the sitting room, Ava looks at her parents.

" So is this about what happens yesterday?" Ava asked them.

"Yes, Ava. The truth is you're not our real daughter, don't get us wrong we love you like you are our daughter, and we would do anything and everything for you. You're so special, even more by Arian standards, you absorb information like something I have never seen before, and you are a master at magic at the age of ten, that something most adults can't claim. You're from a race called Kryptonians, and we didn't know your race has natural abilities that they were born with." Albus told Ava.

Ava listens to what he said she always had a feeling that she was different but she chose to ignore it.

"So, have either of you met my real parents?" Ava asked them, and this time it was Riya who spoke up.

" No, my dear, it was Victoria who brought you to us, your real mother wanted you to be safe, as you know Arians have no other name then their first name. Your real name is Ava Sennilia-El. We also wanted to help you to have a better understanding of your powers, so your Father and I along with Victoria are going to train you starting today."

Ava looks at her with a bit of shock. "Victoria is here?" Ava asked.

"She waiting for you, where we going to train you. She knows about Kryptonians. Also, you're taking this news rather calmly." Albus said as he looks at his daughter.

" I kind of had a feeling that I was different, but I just thought that was normal." She said and Albus nodded, and then both he and Riya stood up.

"Well let's go meet Victoria." Albus said and Ava stood up and they disappear.

They reappear in a coliseum, that was built away from the other Arians. Ava's eyes widen at the sight she saw. She has seen Victoria as she ran to hugs her. Victoria smiles as she hugs her back.

"Well, I love the warm welcome my little monkey, now are you ready to train, the first thing I want to do is to see how fast you are, and I don't want you to hold back." Victoria said with a smile, and she pulled back from Ava as she leads her to the track.

Ava follows the track and it went around the inside of the coliseum. Ava thought that it was big but she moves to take her sandals off. She got onto the track and get into a running position. " Remember don't hold back, I want you to put this scenario in your mind, your parents are in trouble and only you can help them, but you have to get to them fast, now show me how fast you can get there." Victoria said to her as Albus and Riya look at each other.

She wanted to see if she was right about Ava. Ava nodded and with that, she pushed off as a huge burst of dirt flew out from behind her, as she ran, to Ava it seems time has stopped, to her parents they could barely see a blur and to Victoria, her eyes could see the blur.

However, inside Ava's mind, she plays that scenario inside her head, and in her mind, she kept telling herself to go faster than that, she got to go even faster. The more she pushes herself with determination, she begins to go even faster as Victoria could barely see the blur of her, and her parents couldn't even see it.

Ava felt herself do something she has never done before and that was sweating, But she refuses to let this stop her as she pushes herself even more, and with that, she felt something shatter inside her and that was her limit as she pushes past it, she moving even faster as sparks of electricity appears around her feet and around her eyes, She reaches a speed that even Victoria couldn't see and Ava stop sweating as she broke her limit.

However across the universe on Earth Flash was sitting with the other members of the Justice League in the meeting room on the Watchtower. "What wrong speedy?" Hal asked him.

"I felt a disturbance in the force." Flash said, with a worried look.

"I don't think now is the time to be quoting Star wars." Batman said to him.

"I meant the speed force, this disturbance, it felt like someone trying to tap into the speed force, a powerful someone." Flash said to them.

"Could it be another speedster?" Superman asked.

"No, I don't think so, besides the speed force would've told me, but this being hasn't entered the speed force, I don't feel the disturbance again." Flash said.

"Well for now just keep an eye on it, and if anything else happens, we look more into it." Batman said and flash nodded.

Back on Aria Ava look at Victoria. "How was that?" She asked her and Victoria nodded to her with a smile.

"You will be an amazing warrior when we are done with you my little speedy monkey." Victoria told her with a laugh, and with that, they continue on with Ava training.

The next training was hand-to-hand combat, as Victoria shows her a couple of fighting styles and techniques she can use to defend herself.
