12 Special Forces' General Jiang

"Then everyone dies here today!" Viper burst out in a fit of rage, taking out a small gadget with loads of different wires from the bag.

Ara's eyes widen in trepidation before an electric shockwave overcomes her body, making her feel like her blood is about to fry up her body in heat.

Tilting his head a bit to the side, General Jiang signals for the hidden sniper to take his shot.

As the shock wave goes through Viper's body, he falls along with the little girl in his arms, both twitching to unconsciousness. A tingling feeling hits General Jiang's body and for a second he freezes before continuing as normal.

The special forces team is quick in action and grabs the black bag along with the small destructive prototype of a bomb.

"General Jiang Sir, what shall we do with the girl," One of the men in black asks as two of them are already moving the Viper.

General Jiang glances at the unconscious girl on the floor, a spark of interest is shown in his eyes before the usual coldness is back.

"Take her to the hospital, have Mu Feng check over her" his reply cold and concise.

The group is quick to clear up any evidence of the earlier scene. And soon enough the airport is back to its usual bustling activity of separating people, uniting families, and bringing people to the actualization of the dreams to see other places.

The special forces team soon makes its way to their vehicles. The soldier in charge of taking Ara to the hospital crying over his bad fate all the way to the vehicle assigned to him. Quickly driving out of the airport, leaving his comrades who have to take the opposite direction towards the base.

Grumbling under his breath he complains all the way to the First City Hospital.

"Why do I always get the menial tasks"

"Honey, are you sure she's in the bathroom i_"

"Yes yes honey very I'm sure of it, you don't worry at all and we'll be home soon" He hangs up the call before his smart wife can figure out the truth.

Typing in a different series of numbers, he clicks the call button, and seconds later a rough voice answers his call, sounding annoyed.

"What do you want now?"

"Cheng, I'm sending you a number right now and I need you to trace its location as soon as possible" Just as he finishes his order, uncle Zhang sends the person Ara's number.

"You!... Big Zhang, I respect you a lot but don't you think this job is too simple for my skills?" The man on the other side of the call whines as realizes what he has to do.

"Xiao is missing, th-"

"What the! weren't you supposed to pick her up from the airport?!"

"If you would let me finish you'd know something! ... She wanted to buy a gift for Bei Bei, a commotion happened here and I think she might have got lost on her way back to me"

"Damn! Ok, I'll wire in her number and search her phone's location in thirty seconds"

"Little Cheng, thank you"

"She's my niece too, it's my job too"

"I know", uncle Zhang drops the call, a myriad of emotions on his face.

A minute later, a call comes in from his phone and he rushes to pick it up.

"She's at the First City hospital"

"Ok"

Hanging up, he wastes no time getting on his way to the hospital.

'Who was that girl? and what was that feeling earlier?'

"General Jiang, the French minister of defense requests to have a word with you on call" The new soldier reporting for duty visible sweats as his gaze meets with that of the man in front of him.

"No time"

The single reply of his makes the soldier sweat more as he feels himself losing his life force with the intensity of the stare from the general.

"B-bu-but Sir-" he stammers trying to plead understanding from his superior.

"Call Liang Su here for me, and have the training regimen be stricter for the upcoming national holiday"

On hearing the order, the frightened soldier swallows his complaints as he moves to report the order.

Who in the whole unit doesn't know how General Jiang operates. The more one tries to oppose or complain to him, is the stricter he becomes. The man himself seems to have been carved from hell itself, having many victories in battle with zero to minimal casualties at all times, many in the army fear and respect him and only few can associate themselves with him personally.

His reputation in the military goes far and wide such that many at times forget that he is the first young master of the Jiang Family, set to inherit all the glory of his forefathers along with the immense wealth accumulated in the hundreds of years of their family.

Knowing that if he continues to pester the general, not only will he lose his new position in the unit but he may become the object of shame for his teammates if he doesn't leave now.
