4 The boy who turned four

Snape had apparated back to his house with a very confused and now very sick feeling Harry, apparating was something Harry had never got the hang of and side along apparating had always made him feel sick, but as a toddler Harry couldn't control his stomach or gag reflex very well and let out some sick all over Snapes hand.

"really Harry you've been home all of five minutes and im already covered in sick" Snape said looking down at Harry with for Harry a surprising amount of care in his eyes and a small smile on his face which for some reason Harry couldn't help but smile himself.

"Well let's get you cleaned up then Harry and maybe something eat, none of that muggle garbage anymore" Snape put Harry down on the counter next to his kitchen sink while he filled it, one hand on Harry at all times to be sure he didn't wobble and fall over and hurt himself. After 10 minutes Snape dipped an elbow into the water and felt it was the right temperature for Harry and turned the tap off, Snape grabbed Harry and started to undress him to which Harry started to struggle, he was embarrassed that Snape the teacher he'd never seen eye to eye with was about to see him naked even if he was a baby. "please stop that I'm only trying to clean you" finally the smell of his sick hit Harry hard and he decided that the bath was for the best whether Snape saw little Harry or not and thus stopped struggle while Snape undressed him and put him in the warm water. Sitting in the water Harry actually enjoyed it, especially when Snape washed his hair.

"Thats much better Harry now either of us smell like vomit and you look much better to look at" hearing Snape say this Harry remembered he hadn't observed Snape yet.

Seeing Snapes description made Harry sad, very sad he knew that Snape had like his mom previously but never to this extent and that fact that Snape doesn't hate him brought tears to Harry's eyes and he started to cry his eyes out like a child would, seeing and hearing Harry cry Snape hurriedly picked him up and brought him into a hug right into his shoulder.

"Calm down Harry I'll never leave you alone like those muggles and I'll make sure your looked after properly and have everything you need to help grow up into the fine man your mother would have been proud to call her son" Snape told Harry bouncing him in his arms trying to calm him down, he did this until Harry fell asleep in his arms. Snape placed Harry in a cot which was enchanted to rock by itself and had a mobile spinning above it of wizards on brooms chasing a small golden snitch l which Harry would notice until he woke up.

"Now that he's asleep ill get started on something to eat, now Where's that recipe book for babies that mother used to have" Snape started to go through an old dusty bookshelf looking for the book "ah here it is a hundred and fifty magical baby food and snack recipes, I guess I'd better get started" for the next half an hour all that was heard was the chopping of food and the curses of Snape as he tried his best to get a meal ready for Harry, he could have gotten his house elf to do it but something told him it would be better if he did it himself.

Harry woke up surprisingly relaxed after the confusing events of the past week, but then thought to himself 'Why do I heal whenever I sleep, is it something to do with the ability Gaia gave me and is that also the reason why I cant seem to stay sad or get angry'

'Wow now those are some skills I just got' Harry thought to himself him little mouth hanging ajar in shock at how over powered these skills seemed to be especially the Gamers Mind. Snape noticing Harry awake walked over with a small steaming bowl in one of his hands, leaning over he picked Harry up and walked across to the only table in the kitchen and sat Harry down in a baby chair that magically tightened just enough to keep Harry in place without hurting him.

"Okay Harry time to eat, now I know this won be the best food ever but its my first time cooking and the food is healthy for you" Snape for some reason explained to Harry not knowing that Harry could understand his every word. Wondering what he was going to be eating Harry used observed on the bowl.

'fruit puree: made from apples, bananas and pear its a very healthy meal made by hand for Harry by Severus Snape, it has been enhanced with some magical herbs which will increase all stats apart from magic by +1 the first time eaten'

Harry was amazed not just for the bonus stats this meal would give him but also by the fact that Snape had cooked this by hand and it gave Harry a warm feeling in his heart. This meal would be Harry's most memorable and would bring much embarrassment to Snape in later years to come.

And so with the meal the life of Harry and his new father Severus Snape started and was more or less normal with no new added skills or abilities being gained and Harry was still calling hsi adoptive father Severus, that was until Harry's fourth birthday.
