1 Genesis

The cold wind blew through Gotham as if it was nature's will to freeze this unforgiven city. The snow fallen as people on the street tries their best to stay warm while pulling their coat tighter around there body. Busy little bees, especially around this time, everybody out to do Christmas shopping. This the season to be joyful, but this the season when the crime wave is at its highest. Gangs killing each other, attacking innocent people, robbing them, villains with superpowers attacking the city, the Mafia has too many people in their pocket, which makes this city corrupted at its core. The rich get's richer while the poor get poorer and the homeless try their best to survive on the street, but this season is much more worst for them, they are huddling around an oil drum with a lit fire in it to keep warm. However, on this night not only danger but tragedy will strike. In a building that was made to be a lab and a house for a forty-year-old African-American man, his wife who is also in her forties and she has blonde hair and green eyes and is a caucasian, and their beautiful daughter who is seventeen years old, her hair is long and black but she was born blind.

"Thomas, you sure this will work, I don't want our daughter to be harm by this serum." Jennifer said to her husband as they pull on their lab coat.

"Jennifer, I promise you, there is no harmful side effect to this, This will be the first step of curing her blindness." Thomas said as they walk over to Cassandra, who was sitting in an examination chair. Jennifer softly took Cassandra's left arm and softly wipe the crook of her arm and Thomas softly press the needle into her arm.

" This serum will make you a bit sleepy, it'll be fine to go to sleep." Thomas told her and Cassandra nodded and Thomas push the serum into her, it didn't take her long to fall asleep.
