1 Whisky? I'm In!

"Welcome to Johns Tavern, what can I get for you today?"

"Whiskey on the rocks"

"Ayy, a good choice if I've ever seen one, what brings ya'll to my tavern?"

"We've been looking for work, for months now its been boring, no work, no excitement, we need work soon, and were hoping someone in the bar has some for us

"Well if its work your looking for, I'm your guy, rumor has it hidden in the springs is a bottle of legendary Nekrotafieon Whisky, I've got a good payout for whoever is brave enough to retrieve it for me, ya'll in?"

"How good of payout we talking here?"

"How does 10 platinum for each one of you sound?"

"You've got a deal"

We all talked some more about were in the springs to go, given how big of a place it is, and I also gave them a map, and an empty bottle of whiskey to reference as to what they are looking for. I stopped them on the way out the door after something suddenly occurred to me. Waving for one of the guards to stop them while I caught up I said

"Hey, wait up a sec, I never got your names"

"I'm Emilia, the short one with purple eyes"

"Im Zac, I'm tall, and a monk"

"And last but not least, I'm Jay, tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes"

"It's a pleasure to meet you all, my name is John, and I own the bar, good luck on the journey, I'll be seeing you soon, I hope"

And on that note, Emilia, Jenna, Zac, and Jay set off on an adventure to the springs. The springs are a decent 100 miles from the Tavern, but it was no problem for them, it was a one night trip, overnight walking with little rests and no breaks; however, for 10 platinum pieces each it was well worth it to them. Zac was the first one to enter the springs. The springs were beautiful this time of year, smelling of roses and lilacs. Something didn't feel right about the area though, or John's bar, but it was nothing Zac told himself. The waterfalls flowed like smooth liquid glass, clear as day, winding and curving into a pond of fish that swam happily around the water. The map I gave them was leading to the center of the Springs. Once everybody had reached about a mile into the Springs they sensed the first hint of trouble.

Around a mile or so into the Springs, there was a large amount of vegetation, vines, and leaves everywhere you could turn and look, which means many places to hide; therefore, when the crew reached that point, they were ambushed by the people of the springs, violent and territorial goblins. Before the crew could even react and pull out there weapons, the goblins had swung from the low hanging vines above them and had surrounded them in a circle, as the goblins approached closer everyone grabbed their weapons and warned that coming any closer would result in bloodshed. The goblins moved in nonetheless. Jay pulled his sword but before he could swing the first goblin shot out a fierce ball of fire from his hands, the sheer heat was enough to be felt miles away, but the impact set his fate in stone, the firebolt set off on a direct path for Jay. The crew rushed towards him but were grabbed by the goblins before they reached him, the firebolt hit, and he disappeared into a fine grey ash that flew away in the wind, his sword being the only thing that remained...
