2 Good O'l Johnny Boys Back In Town

"Jay!" Emilia screamed, trying to break free of the tight grasp of the goblin. No luck. It seemed like the end for the crew as more goblins started coming close, 15 in total, 9 armed with swords, 5 with magic, and of course, the leader. Zac started to notice something out of the corner of his eye, at first it seemed like a shadow, but shadows can't break branches. Like an invisible soldier, and as if on queue, it struck. Quick as a moving bullet, the shadow took out one of the goblins, freeing Zac and allowing a distraction for everyone else on the crew to strike.

"You son of a bitch!" Emilia yelled as she jabbed the goblin holding her with her elbow, freeing her as well. 14 left, she thought as she sent out a roaring blast of fire from her hands. "How does it feel!!" she screamed, "How does it feel to die the same way jay did you smug bastards" she started to feel angrier and angrier by the minute. Weapons were drawn, ready for the fight. Zac sent knives and daggers flying everyone, hitting a goblin in the head, and another through the leg. Continuing on, slashing at them like no tomorrow, hitting one, then another, and more to come as they faught. Much bloodshed was caused in such a short amount of time, but that didn't stop them. This quest was no longer about some stupid whiskey, it was about Jay, and killing the bastardly group who murdered him.

10 minutes of bloodshed later, every goblin was dead except the leader. Emilia, Zac, and each started to approach the leader, when the shadow returned, Coming out of the darkness, the invisible figure touched the leader and he fell, dead.

"Show yourself!" yelled Zac into the open.

"Care to disarm yourselves first?" came from a familiar voice.

"Not really" replied Zac.

"Fair enough" came from seemingly nowhere, and out came a man they met not too long ago.

"Well, if it isn't John Constantine," said Zac lowering his weapon.

"It's a pleasure to see you all again" replied John

"How did you know we were here?"

"I know this place better than the people who made it, I remembered a hike I made about a year back, I was ambushed the same way you were."

"Yeah? were you saved by a shadow too?"

"No, but sorry for the scare, I kept in the shadows for safety, when they ambushed me, I killed them all and moved on."

"How many?"

"20 the last time I came through these parts."

"How did you take them all out?"

"Magic."

"Why are you here?"

"I thought I would tag along, keep you safe, that a problem?" Just as I said that Emilia chirped in.

"No, you got Jay killed, get out of here before I kill you too"

"Oh please, did you see what I did to the leader? You wouldn't touch me before I threw your ass to the ground."

"Care to test that??"

"Sure!"

"GUYS!" Emilia yelled, "Stop the fighting, John tag along, we need the power, John, ive got an issue with you,but for now ill get over it. Zac, anything you've got to say?"

"Nope, let's get going before more come after us." He stated, with a tone of authority, no power to match it.

"Alright team, lets grab it and go," said Zac

"Nope, not so fast" I replied, "There's something I need to tell you."
