Jai P.O.V.

I'm currently hiding in Sahana's bathroom.

When I broke her mug, I didn't know what to do. I froze and just stared at it.

Then I saw a figure come towards me.

Thinking it was Sahana I was about to make a run for it, but then felt fur brush up against my leg. Wait, oh yeah! Sahana has a dog! Oh, ma gaw I thought I was gonna diee!!

In a sigh of relief, I put my hands in my pockets to realize,

I HAD MY PHONE WITH ME THE WHOLE FUCKING TIME?! HOW DID I NOT NOTICE??

I slapped my forehead in frustration, "The whole fucking time I had my phone with me? You are the smartest person in the world Jai." I turned it on to have the bright screen radiate on my face, making me squint my eyes.

It was so bright, I literally could have gotten a free tan.

It only had 7 percent, but I could still turn on my flashlight. I faced it towards the dog and saw it looking down at the broken pieces of the mug. It then looked up at me. After a few seconds of silent eye contact, I could somehow understand the message he was sending me,

Don't worry dude I got this, she'll never know. Now go.

It was a very weird moment that was shared between us, but I got the hint and rushed out.

Anyways, now I am still in her bathroom. It's pitch black because I didn't turn on the light, or use my flashlight. Because then Sahana would see it through the cracks of the door, duh. I ain't that stupid. I didn't lock the door either for less suspicion. Ha, I'm so smart, I thought.

All of a sudden, "Riiinng, Riiinng, RRIIINNG!!!" the ringtone from my phone played in my hands. My eyes went wide, mouth gaped, "OH SHIT." I mouthed, "GODDAMNDDVFB!!" I put my hands in my hair and wanted to scream my guts out.

How could I make such a dumb mistake?

Oh my fucking god

I am going to die

This is it.

At least I will die, achieving my dream, having money, an amazing dog,

and oh yeah,

COMMITTING A CRIME WHICH I COULD GO TO JAIL FOR.

I saw a shadow of what I thought was footsteps, through the bottom crack of the door.

It was coming towards the bathroom.

Ok, I thought, I need a plan now and fast. I tried searching for anything in the dark bathroom but failed.

The shower? No, too obvious.

There's literally nothing to hide in!?

The cabinets under the sink? Are you dumb?

Your leg can't even fit there, let alone your entire body??

What am I going to do?

Suddenly, the door swung open.

I quickly hid behind it, holding my breath. I tried not to make any sound as the lights turned on. My eyes squinted and eyebrows furrowed, as the left side of my face was plastered against the wall, and the other, just inches away from the door. I concentrated on Sahana, as she walked into the bathroom, her back facing towards me. She headed straight towards the shower.

This is my chance, I thought.

Once she goes further, I'll make a run for it!

Sahana was approaching closer and closer to her shower. And once she pulled the curtains away, I escaped the tiny amount of space I was in and made for a run for it.

Ahaha, you are never going to catch me now!!

Quietly running away, I didn't look ahead of me,

and tripped on one of her dog's toys.

Thud!

"Agh, ow." I quietly whispered in pain.

"Hey, you! Stop right there!"
