Sahana P.O.V. (7 years later)

The weekend was finally upon us.

I was exhausted from work throughout the week.

S.K. Beauty is still going great and we received another award for our honey lip scrub.

Not a day goes by that I don't recognize how hard my entire team is working day in and day out.

I will always stay extremely proud of every single individual.

My eyes slowly opened to our precious 2-year-old daughter cuddling next to me.

I smiled, cupping her cheek, and kissed her forehead. Her eyes eventually opened and met mine.

"Did you sleep well, Adira?"

She yawned and made some funny stretching noises.

I extended my arm back to feel the rest of the bed, but it was empty.

"Where did they go?"

"Breakfast is ready!!" I heard a voice come from the kitchen.

"Oh, of course." I laughed to myself and got up from bed, picking up Adira.

I headed to the bathroom, but stopped in my tracks when my eyes landed on a piece of jewelry on my dresser.

Immediately a smile grew on my face, as memories rushed back.

I picked up the gold necklace and looked at the two entangled rings.

Then my gaze shifted to my ring finger.

A beautiful diamond ring wrapped around it.

I looked at Adira staring at the necklace, "Daddy gave this to mommy way before we got married."

"And then came your older brother, and then you." I smiled.

Adira was still staring at the necklace, completely oblivious to what I just said.

"I'll tell you when you grow up. You'll understand when you're older." I chuckled, fixing her hair.

We finished freshening up and headed to the kitchen where the two that made up the rest of the family were.

Monty and Amiga came slowly jogging to us with their old bodies.

"Hi babies." I giggled.

I set Adira down on her chair and walked up to my beloved husband, hugging him from behind.

He turned his body around, now facing me.

We smiled at each other.

He leaned down and pecked my lips, "Good morning, beautiful."

"Good morning, Jai." I giggled.

"Mommy!!" I heard from beside me and a pair of tiny arms wrapped around the lower half of my body.

I looked down and saw our adorable 5-year-old boy, "Good morning Ambienn." I said, picking him up and giving him kisses.

I know I said I wanted 3 kids but after the second one, I realized 2 is more than perfect.

I went and saw Jai going towards Adira, picking her up as well. He continued giving her several kisses, while she giggled.

Ambien was still holding onto me like a koala on a tree.

"You wanna say hi to your little sis?"

He nodded and I brought him back down.

Like every morning, Ambien walked up to Jai while he's carrying Adira.

He extended his hand and flapped it towards him, gesturing Jai to bring Adira down.

Ambien then went on his tippy toes and planted a tiny kiss on Adira's cheek.

"Adira, give Ambien a kiss too." Jai spoke.

Adira extended an arm out to Ambien, touching his cheek.

And out of nowhere, she whacked him in the face.

Jai and I burst out in laughter, while Ambien stood there in shock, with a hand on his cheek.

I suddenly realized I rushed to him, "Are you ok? Did it hurt?"

To my surprise Ambien began laughing too, "I'm ok."

All of a sudden we heard, "Ah bub u."

We shot our eyes to Adira as she stared at Ambien.

"Did she just say I love you? AWW." I put my hands over my chest, smiling.

"That's the first time she's ever said that to any of us." Jai spoke.

Ambien looked at us and smiled, "She said it to me first. To me!"

And there we captured that special moment, treasuring it in our hearts.

Suddenly we heard the bell ring.

"I'll get it." I said and headed towards the door.

I opened it and there stood the 4 clowns.

And this time, with their tinier ones.

"HEYY!!" Cassia, Sami, Kai, and Sidharth came barging in with their kids following.

Ambien rushed to where everyone was and met eyes with all the other kids.

Cassia and Kai had a boy and a girl, Fay and Xavier.

Sami and Sidharth had two twin boys, Milan and Sarin.

Jai came from the kitchen, holding Adira, "Hey guys!! I haven't seen ya'll in forever!!"

"ADIRA!!" Sami and Cassia screamed, running to her.

Jai stood there awkwardly as we watching Sami taking Adira away from his arms and walked with Cassia to the living room.

Jai stared at them, like a sad puppy. As if something was missing inside of him.

I turned to Kai and Sidharth, "PSST."

They looked at me. "Go to him." I mouthed.

Immediately, they nodded their heads and spread their arms out wide, "JAI!!" they yelled, running to him and wrapped their arms around him.

A smile formed on Jai's face and he hugged the two back.

"Thanks guys."

A few hours went by until I knew they were going to probably stay the night.

Eventually, darkness blanketed the sky.

I began cooking dinner for everyone. Sami and Cassia came and helped, so we finished quicker.

Some simple pasta always did the trick.

Everyone got some and began eating, while Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was playing.

I slowly fed Adira as we simultaneously stared at the screen.

The movie continued and we were all silent.

Once, when the scene of the Basilisk came, all the kids were screaming.

"Shhhh, shhh, calm down, calm downnn."

Everyone had their child on their laps, including me, to ease the horror they were experiencing.

I looked at Adira on Jai's lap and was surprised to see her eyeballs still glued to the screen.

Damnn girl, you ain't afraid at all. Just like your mama.

I smiled to myself.

Then I looked down at Ambien snuggling on me with his hands over his eyes, but a slight space open between his fingers so he can continue watching.

I sighed.

Take some notes boy. Just like your dad.

Finally, the time came when Harry killed the Basilisk, and soon the movie began showing the credits.

I could hear the yawning from the children, giving us the hint that they needed to go to bed.

I picked up Ambien from my lap and rested him on the floor with Adira and the rest of the kids.

Then the 5 of us pushed all the couches back to create more space.

I went and got several blankets and pillows for everyone and set it up on the floor.

Everyone began tucking their kids to sleep.

I rested a fluffy blanket over Ambien's tiny body.

"Here you go, baby." I smiled and kissed his forehead, "Goodnight."

But before I could get up, I heard him whisper, "Mommy?"

"Yeah?" I whispered back.

"How did you and daddy meet?"

"Why are you asking that, all of a sudden?" I chuckled.

"Well, Milan and Sarin were talking about how Sami Aunty and Kai Uncle met."

"Oh really? What did they say?"

Ambien furrowed his eyebrows and thought,

"Uhh, I don't remember."

"But how did you and daddy meet?"

"Well,"

I paused,

"He was the neighbor."

Ambien had a confused expression on his face,

"The neighbor?"

I looked next to me.

Jai was sleeping soundly with Adira in his arms.

I nodded, smiling at Ambien,

"Yup,"

"My neighbor."
