A/N P.O.V

It was thundering in the middle of the night, but Sahana couldn't hear it due to being in such deep sleep. Her face squished and buried into her pillow, the blankets hugging her body, she was warm and cozy. Nothing could interrupt her sleep.

Yet.

Jai P.O.V.

I immediately shot up from my bed when I heard the crackling thunder. The bright flash of the lightning shown through my window.

"Shit, I should have checked the weather today. Then I would have taken my sleeping pills." I sighed in frustration.

Suddenly, I felt small beads of sweat start trickling down my face.

My heart jumped every time I heard a boom coming from the thunder. I realized my whole body felt paralyzed yet shaking constantly. I wasn't breathing properly, fear and anxiety took over me.

I heard whimpering coming from Amiga. She came up on the bed and snuggled with me. My hands gripped my blanket so tight, I felt my palms sweating. "It'll be ok, it'll be ok, I'll be fine, we'll be fine," I repeated to myself to calm myself down, but it didn't do any good.

With all the willpower I had, I brought myself up off the bed, and rushed to my bathroom, opened my cabinet filled with pills, and medicines, popped two sleeping pills in my mouth and went back to my bed.

For some reason, they weren't working.

Instead, I was starting to feel jittery, "What's going on?"

I went back into my bathroom to check if I took the right pills, "I took sleeping pills, right? The one with the blue cap?" I opened the cabinet, took out the same container before, and read the label, "Caffeine Pills??? Since when did I have caffeine pills??" I stared at the medicine bottle in confusion, "Ugh, obviously for working overtime." rolling my eyes at my own level of stupidity.

Slowly walking back to my bed, face down, sighing, "How am I going to sleep tonight?" I was worried, scared, fearful, panicking, any possible word that has a similar meaning to those four, I was.

The back of my head hit my pillow, "No, I'm just overreacting. I'll be fine, everything will be fine."

Looking down at Amiga, "Everything will be fine, right?"

Gazing into her eyes I could tell that her guesses were as good as mine.

Slowly, my vision started to blur, and I realized there were tears forming. I quickly wiped them away with the sleeve of my shirt, and just gave up, "Nope, nope I am not fine!!" and unexpectedly sprinted out my apartment with my keys and Amiga in my embrace, towards my neighbor's.

"Hopefully she will be fine with this."

I am actually very fond of her. If very fond means saying hi when we pass by one other, exchanging smiles, occasionally. Then yes, I am very fond of my neighbor.

"Ok, let's do this."

You might be wondering who this neighbor is?

Her name is Sahana.
