4 4 - Monster Hunting (Edited)
Michael and Victor found a group of three Rabbits eating in the grass.
[ Black Rabbit (Normal) - Lvl 1 ]
[ Grey Rabbit (Normal) - Lvl 2 ]
[ Brown Rabbit (Normal) - Lvl 1 ]
Seeing that there was a level 2 monster Victor and Michael came up with a plan.
"I'll block the Grey and the Black Rabbit, kill the last one as quickly as possible." Victor explained his plan.
"Got it, just make sure your weak skeletons don't die before I can help." Michael gave a cheeky smile to Victor before running forward towards his target.
The Skeletons quickly followed making creepy sounds of bones moving as they ran clumsily.
The Rabbits screeched and jumped forwards.
Michael waited for the Skeletons to catch up and take on their targets before drawing away the Brown Rabbit.
But quickly Victor's skeletons became overwhelmed especially the one fighting the level 2 rabbit.
It's only saving grace was that it didn't attack it's skull allowing it to keep on fighting even though the rabbits first attack caused the poor skeleton to fall over.
Victor came closer and started to cast Undeath Flame at the Grey Rabbit to stop it from killing his skeleton, making it scream in pain on the ground as the skeleton rebuilt it's self.
Infact the second skeleton wasn't having a easier time as it too was being overwhelmed.
Michael on the other hand got into a battle stance and blocked the Rabbit's jump attack at him with his shield.
Because of his greater strength Michael didn't get pushed back but pushed the rabbit back instead.
Taking the opening he slashed with his sword only to be dodged.
"Slippery little bastard, stop dodging." Michael became frustrated as the Rabbit continued to dodge his attacks.
Coming up with a idea Michael stopped attacking and waited for the Rabbit to attack.
The Rabbit once more pounced at him, using this chance Michael bashed the Rabbit as hard as possible with his shield.
The Rabbit was hit into the ground and became stunned allowing Michael to go for a killing blow stabbing the Rabbit in the neck.
Unfortunately the sword was completely trash making it hard to break the rabbits skin but Michael pushed with all his strength and weight killing it.
[ Brown Rabbit Killed (Lvl 1) + 5 XP ]
"Sigh, that was hard." Michael wiped the nonexistent sweat from his forehead.
"Stop lazing around and come and help!" Victor yelled at Michael.
Looking over Michael saw that Victor, well his Skeletons were having an extremely hard time.
"Coming!" Michael ran over to kill the last remaining level 1 Rabbit.
The Rabbit was being distracted by the skeleton and Michael using this opening killed the Rabbit not giving it even a chance to know how it died.
[ Brown Rabbit Killed (Lvl 1) + 5 XP ]
Using the just freed Skeleton Victor ordered it too attack the last and strongest enemy only too find that the skeleton had to rebuild one of it's legs first.
This caused Victor's face to twitch at how trash these skeletons were.
Taking his frustrations out on the poor Rabbit he hit it with another Undeath Flame.
As Michael ran over to kill it, he found he didn't have to as a notification appeared in front of both of them.
[ Grey Rabbit (Lvl 2) Killed + 10 XP ]
"Huh, you killed it!" Michael spoke with a genuinely surprised voice.
"Oh shut up, don't get cocky magic classes start off weak but always get stronger later on." Victor gave Michael a stare before walking away.
"That may be the cause but I'm still stronger now." Michael spoke as he collected the drops.
[Obtained: Rabbit Pelt × 2, Rabbit Teeth × 1]
[Obtained: Rabbit Ears × 2]
[Obtained: Rabbit Pelt × 1, Rabbit Foot × 1]
Moving forward they found their second type of Monster.
[ Slime (Normal) - Lvl 3 ]
Seeing a Slime Michael was reminded by Victor to be careful.
"Use your skills and attack it's core, as they are almost completely immune to physical damage except for the it's core." Victor thought back to the monster species guide class they studied in school.
"Got it boss" Michael gave a thumbs up before attacking the slime.
A Black shadow spread from his hand along his blade covering the sword.
Michael slashed the slime which just sat there, the blade slashed right through it's body just missing it's core.
Michael quickly backed off seeing he missed, the slime was split into two, however instead of joining back together the part missing it's core fell apart and died.
"Ahh, Vic is it meant to do that?" Michael asked in confusion.
"No it's meant to rejoin.. It must because of your skill?" Unsure Victor spoke of what it might be.
"Try your magic" Michael asked as he saw the slime not attacking and just jiggling in pain.
Victor nodded and used his spell, and beyond their expectations the slime was instant killed.
[ Slime (Lvl 3) Killed + 20 XP ]
"Well, I just we found the perfect thing to farm." Michael spoke in surprise.
"Yeah.." Victor also agreed.
[Obtained: Broken Slime Core × 1]
"Come on let's find more" Michael cheered dragging Victor away.
Victor and Michael mored in the direction of the Slime Dungeon as more Slimes were in that area, however they couldn't get too close as it was a area of level 5 to 10.
Staying on the outside of the Slime territory Victor and Michael fought more and more Slimes.
And in doing so they found that Slimes are super weak against both Undeath Flame and Death Slash, killing them in one or two hits.
During this time Victor summoned three more skeletons maxing out his Skeleton summon slots.
Although weak they did help finding monsters and allowing Victor as well as Michael to only fight one at a time.
Especially because the Skeletons won't run out of stamina, allowing Victor and Michael to have an easier time compared to the other students.
After killing slimes and other monsters for one or two hours they both quickly leveled up to level 2 and decided to move further into the Slimes territory.
Actually they leveled up quicker than over students as there was only two of them, so even though they needed triple the experience they gathered experience quicker.
(Author: Just in cause people get confused Victor and Michael share the same level so they will be the same level and have the same XP because of this they need to get more XP to level up but this comes with more positives that will be shown later. :)
Most student parties were made up of 4 or more and because of this all of the experience they got was split between all members but Victor's Skeletons even weak allowed them to not be at a disadvantage in terms of numbers and tanks.
